"Grumpy, are we?" the demon asked with a light tilt of his head. He twirled his purple tie around his fingers. Letting a smirk cross his features, he continued. "Either way, you've sparked my interest. I'm going to need you to come with me," the man finished, looking back at the officer. Despite his "request," the demon already knew what the other's reply would be. Luckily he was prepared. Shimmying down to the concrete ground, he stood across from the other man.

The officer wrinkled his nose at the demon. “Why the hell would I come with you? There’s no reason to! I need to get home.” He crossed his arms, frowning. “I am hungry and tired. I don’t feel like dealing with anyone of the likes of you.”

The taller man frowned. It was expected, but the words still hurt. Just a tad. Suddenly he let out a dry chuckle. "Sorry? I don't believe I was asking if you wanted to come."
With a quick motion, the demon was already behind the policeman, pinning his arms back against his chest. Muttering a few words under his breath, he glared down at the man in his arms as the mortal began to struggle. If he didn't cooperate, he might have to knock him unconscious. It would give him time to prepare something for his prize to eat, plus a quick out for his need of rest. Not that it was good rest.

The officer did indeed struggle against the much stronger demon, but he tried. He kicked as much as he could, struggled for his arms back and waved his head around. His last tactic was to go as limp as he possibly could, but that didn’t really work, so he was just stuck. He panted in the demon’s arms, feeling exhausted and somewhat afraid.

Satisfied that the smaller man had ceased struggling, he spoke a few words that were in a foreign language to any mortal. Little did the officer know, the demon was relaying a spell that would lull a person into sleep against their will. "Sleep now, love," the demon said in english.

The officer’s eyes drooped against his will. It was like he was being sedated right there… like that he felt himself slip away.

The demon grinned at the man in his arms as he moved his limp form into a bridal style position, left arm supporting his neck and head. Walking further into the darkness, the demon spoke once again in his native tongue. There was a sudden flash as a swirling sigil printed with a star appeared only to give way into a portal. Afterwards, the demon stepped through only to appear outside an average sized home. Not caring that the policeman was unconscious, he spoke again in english. "Welcome home."
Shifting his kidnapped guest over his shoulder, the man opened the front door and then closed it with his left foot. Heading towards the bedroom, he set the sleeping man on top of the soft blankets and began to prepare something for them both to eat. Hopefully he had the time to finish cooking before the spell wore off.

When the officer woke back up again, he felt comfortable and warm around the neck and ears. A delicious scent was tickling at his nose like a beckoning lover, smiling and laughing softly in his direction. He sat up slowly, rubbing his head and blinking awake. He… he didn’t recognize the room he was in. Then the memories came back, and he started awake immediately, gasping.

The man hummed softly to himself as he began plating a quite fancy seeming lunch for two. He sighed, already dreading the demands from the other man in his room to leave. None of it mattered anyways. Hopefully his kindnesses would way off. Luckily for the officer, the kitchen was a few rooms over so the demon didn't hear him awaken.

The officer looked around the room immediately, looking for some place to leave. Unfortunately for the man, the windows seemed to be boarded up from the inside, and he had left his gun at the station. He stood slowly and opened the door to the bedroom, peering around.

The demon in the other room drizzled a light sauce to complete the plate. Humming in thought, he wondered what the officer liked drink wise. It wasn't fair to be stereotypical and pour him a cup of coffee simply because he was a cop. Perhaps water was a good idea, not knowing how worn out the other man might feel upon waking up. Spinning on his heel, the tall man went to take two glass cups from the dark tinted cabinets and pour a cup of water for them both. As an extra bonus, he also grabbed two smaller wine glasses. It simply made things a touch more fancy. Setting the table, he swore that he heard careful footsteps and the door handle of his bedroom jiggle.
He was awake.

The officer swallowed again, his adam’s apple bobbing and sweat forming lightly on his hairline. He pulled open the door, gripping the other side with a hand as he opened it painstakingly slow. He hoped the fiend wasn’t standing outside for him. Unfortunately for him, once again, he was.

@Painted-Iris group

Placing his hands lightly on his hips, the demon began his way down the hall at a moderate pace. Noticing the door slightly ajar, he hummed to himself lightly. Hopefully his prize knew to stay put. He lightly rapped his knuckles against the door, slowly for effect. Also because he was such a tease. Taking the handle on his side, he began to try and open the door. "Glad to know you're awake now," he said in a sing-song voice.

The officer felt his breath catch in his throat and he shut the door when the demon knocked on it. No company. He started when the demon started trying to open it and pressed back. He wanted to scream for it to leave him alone, but he didn’t. Yet. That would just make the thing happier.

@Painted-Iris group

(He would be so offended to be called a thing lollll)

The demon crossed his arms loosely over his chest. "Alright. If you're feeling a bit shy, I guess I'll have to throw away your portion of food," he called lightly with an exaggerative sigh. Pursing his lips, the taller man walked away from the door a few feet, hoping to hear the door open again. Maybe a protest. Something.

The officer leaned his weight against the door. “Fine! I’ll starve. I don’t care.” He sighed deeply in relief as his oppressor walked away. He wished the thing would stay away.

@Painted-Iris group

The demon hummed sadly. The words had only been a ploy to get the other out of his bedroom. Finishing his way down the hall, he took the second plate in his careful hands and placed it gently in front of the door. There was a chance that the other would go on his word and not eat however.

The officer sat against the door, shutting his eyes. His stomach already growled for food, but he ignored it with a sigh. Hopefully he’d starve to death. It was better than being forced to sit here.

Sighing, the demon walked away from the room, hoping that he might take the plate if he went far enough away. Sure, this hadn't been the best idea, but in comparison to himself, the mortal wouldn't live all that long. It was this or nothing. Sitting on his own, the tall man thought to himself as he nibbled at his portion of food. Perhaps… after a week at most he would let this drop. As much as the demon wanted to have the policeman all to himself, it hurt him to know he was unhappy. Until then, he would do whatever it took to make the other man warm up to him.

The officer shoved his face in his hands, leaning more of his weight against the door. He really didn’t want to be here. The food outside smelled tempting but he’d rather starve than eat whatever his kidnapper gave him. He wouldn’t play his sick game.

The demon hummed in thought, thinking of ways to convince the man in his room to at least eat. He frowned, knowing he might have to sleep on the couch for quite obvious reasons. He could attempt to introduce himself, making him seem less of a creep. Was creep the right word? He did just kidnap someone…

The officer hugged himself, still tense against the door. He wouldn’t sleep, eat nor drink. Whatever killed him faster would be the best. Probably lack of fluid would kill him much faster. Since death was really the only way out of this, why not?

@Painted-Iris group

Sighing, the tall man got up, deciding it wouldn't hurt to try. Noticing the plate of untouched food, he frowned. At this rate, he would likely attempt to go without water as well. A light frown crossed his features as he sat against the wall next to the doorframe. "I swear on my life it's not drugged or poisoned," he said softly. His tone was different than earlier. More tired. Sad even?
