No they're decent!
I really like the second one.

Alright! Should we just use that as the main thing and let it go from there or do you want to get more detailed in what should happen? I have one thing that I kinda want to add to it, and that being one of our people is really good at magic but can't use it due to that idea and the other one can't use magic because they never learned but they get taught by the other one.
I really like that. Personally, I think we have enough to just jump in from here if that's good with you.
Yeah that works with me :) Do you want me to post a starter? (Might take a few hours, I have to wait until school gets out but we get out early today from a snow storm)
If you wouldn't mind. (Hey at least you get out early! Better than nothing!)
(Yeah :) ) And I can definitely!
Thanks!
Soren just wanted to go back to bed, but yet here he was, on a coffee run for his friend at what seemed like the buttcrack of dawn. It was probably closer to 9 a.m. though, which explained the bustle of people around him and the sun already out. He yawned and ran his hand through his messy blonde hair, happy for once that he was taller than most people as he looked around for whatever shop he was supposed to go to.
(That alright? I can make it longer if you'd like)
(That works fine! We should probably figure out who is who though shouldn't we?)
Rowan was navigating her smaller form through the bustling crowd in the morning. She had to run and get coffee for her coworkers at the bookstore before heading in. It always ate up a bit of her time, but the employer was nice to count these as part of her part-time hours. Her long black hair was up in a ponytail with a berry red bow clipped in with the tie. In her messenger bag was her trusty sketchbook and pen with the orders of the day to hand to the lady at the counter. Whenever Rowan got to the coffee shop.
(Yeah lol we should, do you have any preference? I'm fine with either)
(I've got no preference as well. We could flip a coin to see who is who?)
Soon Soren spotted the place, a little but busy thing with people going in and out somewhat frequently. At least Eril had written down the orders on his arm with a permanent marker while he was still sleeping, it made it much easier on his still not fully awake mind. The crumpled bills were stuffed in his jean pocket, while the handful of change Eril had given him was stuffed into the pocket of the hoodie he had thrown on only moments before he left the door. One small trip, get the orders and go back to his house. All he had to do. His emerald green eyes flicked around at the people around him and he eventually stepped around an older couple before heading to the doors.

(Sure :) what do you call? Heads or tails? I'll flip it quick)
(Heads. :P)
(It was heads :D )
(Yee, what does that mean for me? Lol)
Rowan finally squeezed her way through the crowd and into the shop. She was in line getting the coffee showing the orders to the barista and she was moving towards the back of the store to wait for the coffees to finish. While moving she ended up bumping into a taller gentleman entering the shop and entering the line. Rowan ended up stumbling back not expecting him to be there. She wasted no time her jade eyes going to her notebook and flipping to the second page holding it out with both hands towards the guy she had bumped into. In big clear letters, the only thing on it was, I'm sorry!
(You get to choose lol) (Also I gotta go to bed, I'll respond in the morning :) goodnight)
(Okay, I'll be the one that needs to learn magic. Night!)
(Alrighty!)
Soren still wasn't fully aware of what was happening around him as a young lady bumped into him as he got into line. He was aware enough to see her show him a page saying 'I'm sorry!' "It's alright, that was my fault," He said, offering a small smile as he looked down at the girl, "Sorry about that."
Rowan gave him a slight smile and turned the notebook around to find a blank page. She took out her pen and quickly wrote something down before turning it around to show Soren once more, "It's alright! I'm Rowan. What's your name?
"I'm Soren, nice to meet you Rowan," He said, sweeping a few hairs out of his face and holding out his hand for her to shake. Soren really wasn't the type of guy to just strike up conversations with strangers, especially since he knew magic, but Rowan seemed really nice. Her note writing instead of talking he was curious about though, even though he figured she couldn't or didn't like to talk and that was perfectly fine with him.
Rowan took his hand and gave it a shake. She typically wasn't this 'talkative' but she had bumped into Soren and figured he deserved this much courtesy. Rowan was about to write something else when her name got called. She quickly scribbled down and showed it to him, That's me! It was nice to meet you, Soren.
