"No, you did." Bridge nodded, sure of himself, although still blushing a little bit.
"No, you did." Bridge nodded, sure of himself, although still blushing a little bit.
"I… Maybe I did… I know I said it while I was monologing in Italian."
"You…you said it after that, too." He responded, smiling a little bit.
"Nevermind… What else do you know?"
"I…I tuoi occhi sono…di un bel colore?" Bridge thought, sure he was saying it wrong. "That was…something about your eyes. Being…being a pretty color."
Scipio nodded. "Your pronunciation is a bit off, but it's pretty close. I doubt you'd be saying that to passerby in Italy, though."
Bridge shook his head a little. "I…I don't think I'd be talking a lot if I went to…to Italy."
"I could do most of the talking. What else do you know?"
"Um…carina. You…you said that one a lot."
"Y-Yeah… what does that mean?"
"I think…maybe, pretty? Or…or something like it," Bridge said, blushing a little and glancing at the ceiling for a moment.
"Yeah, kinda… it's like, nice, or cute…" Scipio looked at the ceiling as well as though searching for whatever Bridge was looking at.
"Oh. Okay." Bridge looked back down at Scipio. "You…you called me that a lot."
Scipio stayed silent, blushing a bit more and avoiding Bridge's eyes.
Bridge smiled a little bit - it was barely even noticeable - but it was there. "Did…did you mean it?"
"…Maybe." He said quietly, still avoiding eye contact.
"Oh." Bridge replied simply, smiling a little bit more.
"S-Stop doing that…" Scipio muttered, his face gradually growing redder.
"Doing…doing what?" Bridge asked, tilting his head a little. He hadn't seen Scipio blush this much, ever.
"Smiling like that…"
"Oh…sorry." Bridge did his best to hide his smile, instead biting his lip a little to keep from doing it.
"That's almost worse."
"Well…if I stop, I'll smile, and if I don't smile I'll do this," He said, releasing his lip.
"Ay…" Scipio put one hand over his own flushed face, closing his eyes.
As predicted, Bridge smiled a little bit as his actions, surprised and a little happy he was the reason Scipio was acting like this.
