(Lol why would she do that?)
(Lol why would she do that?)
(To get Luca to go away idk I was just thinking about it but anyway however you want to handle the situation is up to you lol)
(Lol okay thanks)
David paused for a second before realizing that a girl wanted to hang out with him. His mouth was a gape before reaching into his pocket and flinging the mini tissue pack he carried around. "I swear I don't have tissues and a pen in my pocket to pick up girls, I just have allergies, and my friend always needs a pen for something, so that's why." He wrote down his number on a tissue and gave it to Rachel. He was suppressing the urge to put his hand into a fist and push his elbow back as an act of achievement. He was also waiting for Rachel to go inside so he could jump around in joy. "So, um, just a minor question. Um, do you remember me at all from last night?" He asked passively. He didn't want to make it seem like he was coming onto her. He just wanted a good idea of how much of him she remembered. He leaned down so he could pet Colt again so that he would have something else to pay attention to.
Luca, however, was ready to get out of his car and march over there. He didn't know what he was going to say, but he was prepared to do it. If anyone saw him now, it would be like he was acting like a jealous middle schooler. Luca got out of his car and peaked over the car's hood. He finally realized who it was. It was David. How he hated David. Sure he seemed like a nice guy, but in reality, he was a conniving little bitch…well….in Luca's brain, that is. David was the one who would always beat him in sports or any academic competitions. It made him very, very, very frustrated. He stood up straight and began walking toward Rachel's house.
Rachel watched as he fumbled to get his stuff out to write down his number, she almost snorted at what he said though managed to hold back.
"You probably go through the dogs to get them right?" She made an attempt at a joke, seeing as how colt was loving on him for all the scratches he was getting.
She raised a brow at his next question, before letting out a sigh after sticking the note away.
"I just remember you coming up to me at the bar, and then us talking." She spoke, wondering why he was asking her.
She felt like there was something hidden behind that question but of course her memories had to be fuzzy.
"What do you remember?" She asked him as she crossed her arms and stood in her doorway. She hadn't noticed Luca yet, luckily for Luca.
"Oh, the dogs are a part of my flirting technique for sure." He laughed, raising his heels a bit before returning on flat feet. He listened to him as he spoke. His smile didn't go away, but anyone could tell from a mile away that it was a sad smile. "No, I was just making sure you remeber all that happened. You know, making I didn't have to give you my name again. I should get going. Text or call me. I'm free any time. I mean, not anytime because I have a life but like most times. Like an average human being…." He took a deep breath. "I should go now before digging myself into a deeper hole." He laughed nervously before slowly backing down the steps. "Oh shit, my shift wasn't over. I have to run. See you!" He waved while running back to his job.
Luca frowned and watched David run away. He walked up the steps and stood in front of Rachel. "I was hoping I could make you see that he's just not right for you by telling you something, but it seems he doesn't want you to know. Would you like to know?" He stuffed his hands in his pocket.
She was honestly a little bit surprised he laughed at her joke, since she didn't consider herself that funny but it did make her feel nice when he laughed at it and then responded a little bit with his own jab at it.
She just continued to lean against the door frame as she listened to him talk,
"Good luck not getting fired." She spoke as she watched him run off back to where he was working at.
She was just about to turn and good inside when she heard luca's voice.
"Why are you here?" She raised a brow at him, ready to retreat back into her house and slame the door on him at a moments notice.
She let out a groan and rubbed her face, "what the heck is that supposed to mean Luca?"
She did admitt she wanted to know, but she wanted her questions answered before she answered his questions. Then maybe she would consider letting him talk.
Luca shrugged his shoulders. "No, I'm just saying, that guy isn't all good and shy like that. He's playing a part; I've seen him doing it for other girls the same thing he's doing to you. I don't care if you hang out with me like I don't own you, but I also want to look out for you. So, can you please trust me when I say to be cautious of him?" He sighed and checked the time on his phone. "The thing that I was talking about. Talking wasn't the only thing you two did last night. Do you want to know? I have a feeling he won't be telling you anytime soon." He threw his hands up in surrender. "Just saying."
She sighed, of course when she decides to let her guard down just a smidge It turns out to be fake.
Of course it does.
She rubbed her face with her hands before looking back at Luca.
"Okay, if it's so important then what exactly did we do last night? Couldn't have been worse then what you did.' She spoke, staring him down as she still wasn't happy with him.
She Waited for the answer from him while thinking if what he was saying was really the truth.
She wanted to trust luca…but it was so hard after what happened.
Luca's breath hitched. "How many times would I have to apologize to make you understand I didn't want it to happen that way? At all. Whatever. I came here for a reason, so here it is." He took a deep breath in. "David got you drunk last night. He was the one giving you all of those heavy drinks. Yes, you are responsible for taking them, but David gave you ones that would get you drunk fast. While you were drunk, he took your face in his hands, and he kissed you. For a moment, I thought you two might start making out if I didn't come over there. David doesn't want to be just friends with you. He never did. I just thought I would let you know." He shrugged and started to walk down the steps. "See you around the school."
She tried to think of what he was talking about, and she…she did remember some of the drinking part but did they seriously kiss?
This is why she dosent drink at parties.
This is why she hated even going to them.
Her face shadowed over as he finished talking.
She didn't talk to him as he left. She just went inside her house and closed the door. She just walked further into her house and slid down to sitting down against the couch cushion.
She ran a hand through her hair, before feeling tears drip down her face. She felt colt nudge her, and she moved to pet him as he nuzzled her and licked away her tears.
"Why can't I be friends with someone who dosent want something from me?" She wiped her remaining tears, but more kept coming. She cried until she fell asleep.
On the other hand, David was checking his phone all through work. Even his co-workers and boss could tell he was in a good mood. When David got off his shift and checked his phone, his giddy smile faded very quickly when Dsvid found he didn't get a text from an unknown number. He shook his head. Maybe, she's just busy. Yeah, that has to be it… be patient… It was already late when he finished his shift, so he was just trying to make up excuses on his way home as to why she didn't text him all day. He thought things went well. He didn't want to push himself on here. Maybe…tomorrow…
She ended up going to sleep on the couch after she ended up crying a while and then watching a TV show and falling asleep with it playing.
She rubbed her eyes as she woke up to the screen asking if she would like to continue watching.
She moves to turn off the TV and rubbed her eyes having no clue what time it was.
She figured it was late because it was still decently dark out. She shoved her hands in her pocket and pulled put her phone, and along with it a piece of paper fell out.
right..his number.
She stared at it for a good bit before moving to put it into his phone and send a message.
"rachel- why didn't you tell me About what happened last night?"
Depending on his answer was the way she was gonna decide to keep the relationship or not. She dropped her phone again and went back to sleep.
(I am backeth from vacationeth!!!!)
David's smile disappeared when he read the message he had awaited from an unknown number. He stared at his phone for a while. He didn't mention anything regarding them last night. So who? He scored and huffed. David was going to find some way to get back at Luca, even if it took his ages. He put on some night clothes and sat up in his bed.
"David - I didn't want to push you into anything. Yes, I want to be something more to you, but that's not something someone should say on the second day of meeting someone. I tried to start friends, and maybe you would feel the same way I feel about you…I'm sorry"
He sighed and stared at his phone, waiting for the three little dots that gave him far too much hope.
(Welcome back!)
(Thx!)
(Your welcome! ^^)
The three dots appeared and disapeared a lot of different times as she typed things up and then back spaced them. She let the dots load on his phone screen for what felt like ages before she finally typed something back.
"it's not good to be up this late you know."
She didn't know why that's what she decided on. It just was.
She was way too tired to spend so much energy on a stupid text message to some guy she just met.
She set her phone down and exhaled, moving to pet Colt's head as he lay next to her.
She used her other hand to rub her eyes, they started to sting from how long she had been awake and the bright screen in a dark room.
She let our a groan, before looking at what time it was and then putting it back down again.
He chuckled and shook his head.
"You're the one who texted me."
He shouldn't be grinning at his phone like he was, but who could help it? He was texting someone he liked. Of course, he would smile like an idiot. He dropped his towel over the chair of his desk. He then plopped down on his bed, holding his phone above and praying he didn't drop it.
"Could've texted me in the morning; it's not like I mind anyway."
He bit his bottom lips and set his phone down next to him.
(https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRPfTHD5/ this reminds me of them)
(I see it also I was at band camp for a while)
(Oh wow, did you just get back? Did you enjoy it?)
(Yeah, like 2 days ago it was a very long band camp, so I needed a few days of rest before I came back on and did some stuff you know?)
(Yeah totally get that ^^)
He chuckled and shook his head.
"You're the one who texted me."

"your the one that texted me back, that was my message for you to realize I'm right and go to sleep. Idiot."
She typed up quick, before setting her phone down again. She heaved herself up off the ground and letting out a yawn as she made her way to the bedroom and collapsed face first onto the bed. Colt followed behind her and jumped onto the bed, licking her face.
She climbed onto the bed and moved to slide into the covers.
She took off her top, and stretched her arms out.
She set her phone down next to her.
David shook his head at the text.
"Fine, Fine…I'll go to bed, good night Rach. If you have time tommorow you should stop by where I work."
He was at peace with his reply and decided it was finally time to go to bed. He did have to work tommorow so why wouldn't he? David got up the following day having one of the best sleep he's gotten in a while. He put on some actual clothes today instead of just throwing on sweatpants and a t-shirt. David grabbed his car keys and went into his mom's room. His mom has been sick for as long as he could remember. However, instead of looking old and frail, she looked young and healthy. She was hooked up to wires he didn't dare go near. All he knows is his dad told him not to touch them and then disappeared. "I'm going off to work mom. I hop eyou have great dreams…" David kissed her on the forehead and left, locking the door behind him. He unlocked his car and put his bag in the back seat. He then entered the driver's seat and made his way to his job for an early shift.
