So, my idea is that a girl is transformed into an ocean goddess after an accident where she drowned. Now she doesn't know how to pass off as a normal human and control her powers. Someone comes into her life and she tries not to give herself away, afraid that they will reject her and hurt her.

Name: Aukai
Looks: (post-accident) bright blue hair, constantly weaved with seaweed, sea grasses and beach flowers. Bright blue-green eyes that shift shades with her mood, pale skin, freckles, very tall and lean. She wears pretty cool-colored sundresses when she's not in the ocean.
temperament: Most of the time it's calm and sympathetic, very gentle, kind, and nurturing. But if someone does her a wrong, she will get scary and will rage.
Quirks: Likes blowing bubbles from under the water, and if she leaves her ocean or beach, she has to have a tiny bag of sand in her pocket. Loves to sunbathe on rocks.
Other: She cares deeply for the animals in the ocean and if she hears of one in trouble, she will immediately zip over and help it.
Powers: breaths underwater, can move faster than should be possible in the water, can talk to any ocean creature, and can take many different forms, controls water, and can grow any plant life no matter what the temp of the water.
Hobbies: water painting, sculpting sand into elaborate designs, and collecting shells and rocks.
Pet: A sea turtle named Lu Lu.

Aukai dives underneath the blue water, tasting the salt. She smiles as she waves at a couple schools of fish swimming by. She flips the fins of her purple/blue tail, using her human torso to also propel her through the ocean. Suddenly, a dark shadow blocked the warm sun. She looked up, startled, but assumed it was a whale. It was not. 'Well, well, well… The little human who took my inheritance. Finally… I'll have my revenge….' Aukai tried to swim away, but something knocked her unconscious. She slept for a long time, suddenly, she woke up, in human form. She sat up, brushing her blue hair out of her face. She looked around and saw she was at a table in a café shop, an aroma of coffee filling her nose. She looked down and saw she was in a blue and green sun dress. Her eyes flashed a blue-gray.
Alex rode his motorcycle around town. He loved the feeling of freedom, and the wind wiping through his hair gave him an adrenaline rush. Finally, with the whisper of cramps in his legs and the gas nearly depleted, he pulled up to his favorite cafe. Running a hand through his hair and straightening his jacket, he stepped in. He moved to go to his usual spot, but he saw someone was already there. He looked her up and down. She obviously wasn't from town; no one here dyed their hair such unnatural colors. She was probably a tourist. He walked over.
"Excuse me," he said gruffly.
Aukai looked up, eyes flashing to a bright green. "I'm sorry! I'll move!" She started to stand, but her legs wobbled. It had been a long time since she had used her legs. She limped from the table, grabbing at different tables and chairs to keep herself upright.
Alex, seeing she was in no condition to move, caught her elbow lightly.
"No, I'm sorry. Sit down." He didn't bother asking; he wasn't going to have someone in her condition, whatever it was caused by, to move just so nothing has to change for him.
Aukai shook her head. "No. I need to get going. But um… Where is the nearest body of water?" She cringed, knowing it was a strange question.
Alex raised an eyebrow, then nodded his head towards the street.
"The ocean; it's about a mile from here." He was still holding her elbow, making sure she didn't fall.
Aukai looked relieved. "Thank you. Now I've got to go. It's going to be a long walk for me." She started to limp away.
"No, it's not, because I'm going to drive you." There was a tone in Alex's voice, saying he wasn't going to budge on this. She was going to get a ride from him.
Aukia's eyes flashed a periwinkle. "I-I don't believe that a good idea…" She swiped her fingers though her hair, and seaweed and flowers appeared in it before disappearing again.
Alex stared at her hair for a moment, but he dismissed it as a trick of his mine. Instead, he led her out the door; no one tried to stop him.
