Sterling's POV:
I sighed and buried my face in Eden's neck, tugging her warmth closer.
"I don't want to go back to class, now…" I groaned softly, nuzzling her neck. "We have a problem…"
Eden’s POV:
I trembled a little, still needing to catch my breath. My wrists throbbed lightly from Sterling’s grip from earlier, but I wasn’t complaining. I enjoyed every second of it.
“Well,” I started breathlessly, panting harshly. “We have a bigger problem. I can’t leave this bed.”
(Topaz is waiting for your response. Lol.)
Sterling’s POV:
I smiled a bit and kissed her skin gently. “Oh? And why is that, beautiful?” I murmured lowly.
My cheeks hurt from the impossibly wide grin I was currently wearing. “I don’t think my poor heart can take this,” I teased, taking his hand and bringing it up to my mouth.
I grinned.
“I think I’m not a good influence on you,” I said with a laugh. “But I don’t think I’m going to stop.”
(Topaz is waiting for your response. Lol.)
Sterling’s POV:
I smiled a bit and kissed her skin gently. “Oh? And why is that, beautiful?” I murmured lowly.
(Whoops xD)
Eden’s POV:
“Because I can barely move,” I whined. “I want to sleep. I’m exhausted.”
“I don’t think I want you to stop,” I answered cheekily, falling into the rhythm of flirting that we’d set up.
Gray’s POV:
I grinned.
“Well, then why don’t you start the movie and feed me? I can’t feed myself with my arms around you,” I teased her back.
And just like that, my confidence was decimated, blown to bits. “Oh—Um—Sure,” I stammered, fumbling to pick up a second piece of pizza and holding it too Gray’s mouth.
Gray’s POV:
I chuckled at her before taking a bite.
“Mmm,” I chewed slowly. I absolutely adored the affect I had on her. It was adorable. Once second she was flirting back and the next she was flustered and plain adorable. “Thank you, love.”
Groaning loudly, I buried my face in his chest to hide my ever-deepening blush.
“Gray—“ I couldn’t manage to finish my sentence.
Gray’s POV:
I laughed at her reaction.
“Why are you so adorable, Vy?” I shook my head, tightening my hold on her. “I love you.”
I mumbled something in answer, but it was muffled by his shirt. Pulling my legs closer to the rest of my body, I tucked my hands beneath me, laying them against his chest.
Gray’s POV:
I admit, halfway through the movie, I didn’t want to watch it anymore. I just wanted to lay with Violeta in my arms, just talking.
So I said that to her, hoping she’d say yes. I didn’t mean anything sexual by it, nor was I expecting anything like that.
I nodded a little and paused the movie, shifting so that I was sitting sideways on his lap. Curling up against his chest, I let my eyes drift half-shut. "What do you want to talk about?"
(ooh can we do the video chat with her sister now?)
(Yes, we can! :D)
Gray’s POV:
“Tell me about your family,” I said softly, wrapping my arms around her tighter, my lips pressed against the side of her head. “Or yourself.”
(:D)
I reached for his hand to lace our fingers firmly together, a soft exhale parting my lips. "Well, I've got a younger sister like you. She's fourteen."
As if on-cue, her phone began to ring, the screen lighting up to read 'INCOMING CALL: DARIA'.
"What a coincidence, that's her calling. Would you mind if I picked up?"
Gray’s POV:
Fourteen? That was a year and a few months older than Aria. I shrugged.
“Go ahead,” I said to her. “Answer her.”
Was this how Violeta felt when she first met Aria? Nervous, thinking the girl wouldn’t like her?
I shot him a grateful smile—I hadn't spoken to Daria in weeks— and shifted into a slightly less compromising position on his lap, selecting the 'answer' option.
My little sister's round, grinning face greeted me, so similar to mine (except with tons of freckles and less plump, not to mention lighter eyes). But she drew back from the screen, a look of surprise crossing her face. "Violeta? Who's that?"
Gray’s POV:
I waved at her, rather awkwardly, might I add. Her sister looked very much like her older sister, but there were differences. Like, Violeta had adorable acne scars (ones I very much liked to kiss), while her sister had freckles.
“Hi,” I greeted her with a polite smile. “I’m Gray.”
Daria raised her eyebrows at me, to which I replied to by sticking my tongue out. "He's my boyfriend," I explained after a moment.
"Yeah, no shit." Daria snorted.
"Language!"
"Sorry." There was something visible behind her, the backing of a chair of some sort. "How are you? How's college?"
"It's good, I'm enjoying it," I answered, smiling. "How're you?
"I'm good. But I want to know more about him."
Gray’s POV:
I smiled at their interaction (but mostly at Violeta), watching them exchange words before their attention shifted back to me.
“Me?” I blinked owlishly even though there wasn’t any need to be curious. It wasn’t a surprise Daria wanted to know about the man her sister was dating. “What do you want to know?”
Daria twisted her lips into a thoughtful frown, propping the phone she was calling from up on a surface and moving back so that her wheelchair was in view. "How old are you?"
Gray’s POV:
It took me a few seconds to realize what she was sitting on was a wheelchair. Her sister was either injured and needed a wheelchair for the time being, or she needed it permanently. I didn’t let pity or any other emotion come to my face.
“I’m nineteen,” I answered softly, the smile still present on my features.
"Wait….." Daria squinted at the screen, turning her eyes to me. "He's Gray? The Gray that used to….. make you….. cry?"
Gray’s POV:
I froze. I already knew I’d hurt her badly, but I never knew she used to cry because of me. Because of me, she used to shed tears.
I looked at her, regret present on my features. I’d hurt her that badly, and I didn’t know what to say to her.
