Eden’s POV:

My breath hitched in my throat and it felt like my heart had officially stopped beating before it increased its speed, hammering wildly in my chest. I felt my face turn hotter, my eyes darting towards his lips before making a painful decision to go back to his eyes. Not before my tongue made the awful decision of licking my lower lip.

I wanted him to kiss me. I wanted him to kiss me right now, breathless—to fulfill my needs because God did I want him so bad. But my mind, the logical side, tried reasoning with the reckless side.

Not in front of people, Eden…

“Yes…” I whispered breathlessly, begging my mouth to close and stop talking. “It—it’s still a tease…”

(I was spending time with my best friend and her boyfriend. Lol. I’m back now.)

Sterling’s POV:

My eyes caught the slight movement of her tongue across her lip, immediately darkening. If only I could kiss her. Right here. Right now. Breathless, until the only thing she could conjure up in her mind was my name.

“May I? Right now. Can I kiss you, Eden?” I asked, my voice coming out raspy.

My breath hitched in my throat, my eyes widening at his request. My heart hammered wildly in my chest until my mouth went dry and the only thing that could satisfy it was Sterling’s mouth.

I swallowed thickly, unable to look away from his lion’s stare—the stare that kept fixated on me, eyeing my every move hungrily, waiting to pounce at every given opportunity.

It made my stomach twist into knots.

My eyes darted over at Gray and Violeta before Sterling’s lips, the ones I badly wanted, and then finally into his eyes again.

“Pe—people, Sterling…” I didn’t know how I managed to speak, but I did it. Even though I could barely hear my voice with my heartbeat blocking out everything, I knew he heard me from the way his eyes were on my lips, never looking away for more than a few seconds. “And… and Vio—Violeta and Gray…”

(No, never. I would never think like that. Just know that I believe in you and that I’m always here if you need to get things off of your chest.)

I knew she was right. Of course she was. But, gosh, did I want her. Maybe it would be a bad idea, but there was no way that I would regret it. Not by a long shot.

“I know… I won’t kiss you unless you say ‘yes’, but I’m not moving until you say ‘no’,” I muttered, licking my tingling lips. It was so strange to long for this so badly, but I definitely did not mind it. Not at all.

I looked over at the others, watching their exchange in slight amusement before turning my attention back to my girl.

Finally, I grabbed her hand and stood up.

“We’ll be right back,” I said to them, choosing to give them some space, and give us some in return. “C’mon, Vy, just for a little while.”

Yup, I was totally going to back her against a wall and kiss the life out of her.

Eden’s POV:

My stomach performed professional flips and it felt like my heart officially stopped beating. I could barely hear Gray telling us they were going to be back, but I was grateful they gave us some space.

The second he licked his lips, I felt my mind go absolutely blank.

“Y…yes…” I found myself whispering, lost, unable to think of anything else but the desperate longing to have him kiss me senseless, to hunt me down and devour me like a lion did to its prey.

I could barely manage a nod, my legs weak as I hurried to stand and stumble out of the booth. “Y-Yeah— Sure.” My heart was pounding with wild abandon by now, my hands aching to be grabbed and held against the wall like he’d done before.

Sterling's POV:

I didn't even hear the others at this point. The rest of the world was blocked out to me, my eyes and ears solely on the spectacular creation in front of me.

The second his delicious lips were on mine, I ceased to exist. I immediately turned to jelly, all strength leaving my legs.

I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him as close as I could to myself, backing myself against the wall to create more space he could fill.

I was doomed. I was utterly, completely doomed—completely taken in my his words, his lips, his touch. No matter how many times I kissed those lips of his, no matter how many times I let my fingers tangle themselves in his hair, I was never satisfied.

I needed him badly. He was my lifeline and I wasn’t sure I could live without him.

I led her off to a relatively secluded place, right before the last of my sanity betrayed me.

I pushed Violeta to the wall, leaning close until my nose was barely touching ours, our months just inches away from touching.

“Tell me you want me to kiss you,” I whispered in a raspy voice, desperate to have her. “Tell me and I’ll do it.”

“Please,” I begged him hoarsely, flooded by need. “Kiss me. I want— no, I need— you to kiss me.”

"I love you," I murmured against her lips before I nipped at them. The fire in my chest was growing so hot that I was sure I would burst into flame at any moment. "Gosh, I love you…"

Gray’s POV:

“As you wish, m’lady…”

With that, I swooped in, pinning her against the wall, claiming her sweet, sweet lips in my own, pushing against her, trying to decrease the distance between us.

I refrained from touching her directly, choosing to rest my hands on each of her sides, trapping her between me and the wall.

(Well, I do remember that. Aren’t some booths near a wall, too?)

Eden’s POV:

I tangled my fingers in his hair, letting out a groan as he nipped at my lips, feeling pleasure course through me. My entire world went completely white. I sighed deeply, parting my lips, pressing harder against him.

I couldn’t answer him with the way he was kissing me. I was at a loss for words. I could barely think straight, but less being able to conjure words. All I could think was Sterling’s mouth against mine, his teeth on my lips, his body so close.

Gray’s POV:

“As you wish, m’lady…”

With that, I swooped in, pinning her against the wall, claiming her sweet, sweet lips in my own, pushing against her, trying to decrease the distance between us.

I let my eyes fall shut as a wave of pure ecstasy pulled me under, flattening myself against the wall behind me as a sign of absolute submission. My heart thundered, coming to a deafening crescendo that drowned everything out, everything but him. “Say my name,” I pleaded against his lips.

A soft gasp slipped from my mouth into his hot, roaming mouth. I let my eyes fall shut as a wave of pure ecstasy pulled me under, flattening myself against the wall behind me as a sign of absolute submission. My heart thundered, coming to a deafening crescendo that drowned everything out, everything but him. “Say my name,” I pleaded against his lips.

Gray’s POV:

When I felt her knees buckle, I immediately snatched her wrists and pinned her arms above her, both as a sign of dominance and to prevent her from falling down.

“Violeta,” I growled into her mouth, complying with her request, her beautiful name rolling off of my tongue and into her mouth. I loved the sound of her name, the way it made me tingle all over.

I nipped at her lips, pulling at them before I ran my tongue across her lips, asking for entrance.

(Well, I do remember that. Aren’t some booths near a wall, too?)

As the sound slipped from her lips, I pressed back harder. And then her lips parted, and I howled softly. I let my tongue run over her lower lip, asking begging for permission.

This girl was going to kill me with what she did to me…
