(You want to skip a day? Or two?)
Up to you two
(Well, Autumn?)
(Two is good!)
(All right, gimme a sec.)
(Seconds turned into minutes…)
Eden’s POV:
I looked at my reflection in the mirror—the glasses perched on my nose, my eyes slightly red and hazy. I looked at it really close—or more specifically, the red mark I could see on my neck.
I hadn’t been worried about anyone seeing what Sterling put on me, mostly because yesterday’s classes were all canceled, but today we had classes. That meant everyone could see. That meant stares, and stares and I didn’t do very well.
I rubbed the most prominent mark on my neck, feeling heat creep up my cheeks. I’d been resting, so we hadn’t gone that far again, but Sterling never passed up the chance to mark me again.
Finally, I stopped staring at the claim Sterling put on me and walked out.
“Sterling, I’m ready,” I called out. “Where are you?”
Gray’s POV:
I really wanted to pick up Violeta from her dorm, but I held myself back. I didn’t think she would appreciate it just yet, and I wanted to give her some breathing space before taking a slightly bigger step.
So I was currently sitting in my class, waiting for my girl to walk in. I hadn’t really asked her out yet, but I’d been planning on doing so. As cheesy as it sounds, I wanted it to be special for her.
So I was waiting patiently, passing my time on my phone.
(oof)
Lillian just stared at me from her bed, watching me anxiously pace the room. Every minute or so, I would stop and stand in front of the mirror, adjust something about my appearance, and the cycle would begin again.
After about fifteen minutes of nerves piling up into an unbearable heap, she stood, grabbed my arm, and forced me to sit down.
"Alright, spill."
I gawked at her for a few seconds before shaking myself out of my stupor. "The guy from yesterday— he—" Pausing, I licked my dry lips. Lillian groaned. "Please don't tell me he got under your skirt." I turned bright red and shoved her, covering my face with my hands. "No, ew, you perv."
She only chuckled. "So, what, he kissed you?"
I peeked out from between my fingers and nodded, causing Lillian to shake her head in amusement.
Twenty minutes and a huge pep talk later, she was ushering me out the door, adjusting the strap of my black tank top and checking my lip gloss as we went.
It wasn't long before I rushed into class a minute before it started, turning to look for Gray.
(her outfit: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/633811347537529743/ except the sweater isn't as furry lmao)
(Lol. Geez… Yeah, Sterling may have a slight obsession with his girlfriend… In a good way, though! :D)
Sterling's POV:
"In the living room, babe!" I called from my spot on the couch.
I had been cramming in a bit of extra studying while I could before my test, seeing as I hadn't really done much lately… Not that I was complaining; much more… satisfying things had been done I that time…
Now, though, I realized that I should probably gain a bit more self-control. If I didn't, my grade would fall behind, and I couldn't have that.
(XD)
Eden’s POV:
I walked over to Sterling, watching him do some last minute revisions. I was a pretty terrible girlfriend, I have to admit. I distracted him a lot, whether it was on purpose or not.
I shouldn’t be doing that, but I do. And then I end up being flustered the whole day, but I do deserve it.
“Are you ready?” I asked him softly, walking behind him and gently massaging his shoulders to soothe him. I pressed my thumbs harder in his skin, trying to untangle the knots. “You’re going to do amazing, Ry. Don’t worry about it.”
Gray’s POV:
I raised my head, a smile on my lips when I saw Violeta enter the classroom. I raised my hand for her to see and waited patiently until she saw me. She looked so good in that dress, it made me glad she was mine and no one else’s. She was truly breathtaking, and I would make sure she knows that every single day.
My eye's landed on Gray's, and my wildly pounding heart stopped. A slow blush crept across my cheeks as I made my way towards him as if spellbound, drawn to him by magic or sorcery.
"Hey." I swallowed anxiously, seating myself next to him.
Gray’s POV:
I squeezed her hand lightly when she sat down next to me, giving her a grin. The blush on her cheeks drove me crazy and it took everything out of me not to kiss her right there and then.
“How was your day?” I asked her, nuzzling her neck fondly.
Oh my god.
This was real. This was happening. He still wanted me.
Shivers raced down my spine, my one hand burying itself in his hair.
“Long,” I answered with a flustered smile, “I couldn’t wait to see you. How about you?”
Gray’s POV:
“Long,” I copied her answer. “You kept me up all night, running through my mind.”
Her reactions were the same. It was pleasing to see I still had that affect on her. If she had that affect on me, it was only fair I did, too.
The hand that was in my hair, I reached out to cup it gently in my own, bringing it to my lips and pressing a soft kiss on her knuckles.
My blush deepened significantly at the kisses. I forgot how to breathe too, forgot how to function until harsh whispers reached my ears. I turned around quickly, and my eyes clashed with those of a clique of girls… all staring at the two of us.
Of course. The hot guy, kissing the fat girl’s hand. Of course they were staring.
Gray’s POV:
The beautiful expression on Violeta’s face dropped the second people started their useless gossips.
I immediately pulled Violeta towards me and covered her ears, shooting a glare towards the mass of students staring at us.
“Are you done?” I asked coldly, satisfied when they jumped in their seats. Of course they were startled. They’d never seen this side of me until today. “If so, mind digging your nose elsewhere? And please, do watch your mouth. Don’t you have anything better to do than insult someone’s girl?”
My eyes widened in surprise; even through Gray’s hands, I could still hear every word he was saying to them. What did I do to deserve someone like him? I thought to myself, heart swelling with gratitude.
“Thank you…” it came out quieter than I would have liked.
Gray’s POV:
My expression softened immediately and I took off my hands from her ears, lifting her chin up to press a kiss on her forehead.
“Don’t thank me,” I said to her quietly. “Anyone who thinks they can badmouth you… I can’t stand them.”
I wrapped my arm around her waist, holding her tightly.
“Listen, sweetheart, what matters the most is if you think you’re beautiful,” I whispered in her ear. “It doesn’t matter whether you’re short or tall, or small or big. I’d choose you all the same. I prefer the one I’m holding in my arms. I hope you get to see yourself the way I see you one day. Beautiful, precious, one of a kind.”
Had he always been this soft, this sweet? His words touched me in ways I couldn’t imagine— this wasn’t a relationship fueled by lust or surface attraction; he really, really cared.
“No one’s ever said that to me before….” I murmured to him, a bashful smile on the curve of my lips.
Gray’s POV:
I returned her shy smile with a confident smile of my own, kissing her on the forehead again.
“Well, that’s surprising,” I replied. “People just don’t see what I see. It’s sad.”
I could really just hold her in my arms and I wouldn’t even need anything else in my life. I didn’t want the teacher to come in, because then that would mean I’d have to let her go. I was glad we shared the same lunch, though.
I leaned against him, wanting nothing more than for him to pin me against the wall and kiss me until my knees gave out. At the same time, I wanted to cuddle under a blanket and watch a movie. It was conflicting and confusing, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Maybe…” I murmured, about to say more when the professor entered the room.
(Skip?)
(Okay!
NOT IT)
(Akakdjaj fine
Since Autumn isn’t here, do you want to do a little kissing scene in between class and lunch?)
(That works for me!)
