Eden's POV:
I hummed in reply before I walked towards the bathroom.
It took me about ten minutes to get myself ready. It wasn't like I needed a lot of time, anyway-I wore a simple shirt, black jeans, shoes and I may or may not have stolen Sterling's denim jacket. It smelled like him and I liked it.
Of course, Sterling dropped me off. I kissed him goodbye in the car, got out and went to first class. I already printed out my schedule, so I didn't need to go get it.
Grayson's POV:
My day went spectacularly. I managed to get a girl's number first thing in the morning just by smiling at her, so let's say my charms still haven't died. My first class was Physics, which was boring as hell. I'd be lying if I said I stayed awake the whole one and a half hour, which I did. My next class, however, was a biomedical class I had no interest in but just took it for the hell of it. I mean, okay, it was cool, but I needed two science credits and I went for the first two that caught my attention.
Anyway, when I walked into the class, my eyes first caught a lone girl sitting in the corner of the window. She was typing on her phone, her black hair hiding her face from me. She wore an oversized denim jacket, but all I could think was damn did that girl look hot.
I put on my best charming smile and walked towards her, setting my bag on the desk and taking a seat.
"Hello there," I greeted her, making sure to make my voice deep. My ego immediately deflated when she didn't even look up, gave no signs as to whether she heard me or not. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, but then decided she was probably too caught up in her phone to notice. After all, why would anyone ignore me? "I'm Grayson, but you can call me Gray."
She still gave no response. I took a deep breath before reaching out to tap her on the shoulder but was caught off guard when a hand slapped it away before I could even blink. The girl was finally looking at me, her blue eyes icy cold, her face twisting into an emotion I couldn't recognize. When I locked eyes with her, my blood went cold. She was, I could say, scary.
But scary was hot, too.
She spared me no glance as she got up, threw her bag over her shoulder and walked off to another pair of seats in the middle of the class.
