(Yes'm!
One other thing I just realized…. Dylan doesn't wear a mask. He's pretty plainly obvious. )

Blinking at her drastic transformation, Dylan almost forgot to cloak to keep his name a secret. He did so as quickly as he could, then answered, "Fine. Thanks for the hand… or the trunk, I guess. You look a little thrashed yourself, if I'm being honest."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Oof… Then Avery would know who he was… Let’s say he cloaked before she saw him, then.)

Avery sighed and rubbed at the spot under her right eye. “Yeah, it’s been a long evening already. You didn’t happen to see a woman with neon wings while you were up there, did you?”

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan sighed and chuckled, "Nope, I was too busy holding on to Mrs. Birdie's metal wings." He turned around, did a double take on what the shape-shifter just said, and turned back, "Wait, neon wings? That's Wings. She's here?"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Wings? I guess that makes sense…

"Yeah. I think she's inside, but I couldn't get in," Avery explained with a nod. "And the villain you were struggling against is the Red Falcon. She normally fights me… I'm guessing Wings is your villain?"

@Mr.Misfit

"Yep," Dylan replied, "Otherwise known as royal pain in my rear. She's the cause of the last 50 blackouts we had in the city…" He paused, then corrected himself, "in my city. Ah, and she has a bad habit of stealing electricity and using it to fry you in the form of pure energy."

He uncloaked his hand and held it out to the shape-shifter, "Shadow, by the way. Umbra-kinetic and master of the disappearing act."

Avery smiled and shook his hand. “Aspect; shapeshifter and leader of my small team. Who, unfortunately, are all on their own missions tonight, so you are unable to meet them. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Shadow.”

@Mr.Misfit

"At least you have a team." He replied, "I have to deal with that bundle of fury all by myself." Dylan shivered slightly with the cold wind and added, "At least where I come from its warmer. Maybe we should find a place to relax and think through the next few days. I need to figure out how to chase Wings back home, and we both need to prevent The Red Falcon from bothering another city."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Avery nodded slowly, looking thoughtful as she looked around. She had a place she could take him, but she would have to make sure her girls weren’t there first.

“I might have a much warmer place to talk if you’d like. I’ll have to make a quick call first, though,” she explained, glancing back in the direction his voice was coming from.

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan turned his back to her, decloaked, and walked to the opposite edge of the roof to show he wouldn't be intrusive. He stopped to take a few notes down about The Red Falcon.

Mechanical wings, capable of supporting a decent weight. Damage resistant.

After stowing his notebook he looked out at the city. It seemed a little larger than his own, but without a proper flyover Dylan couldn't quite tell. The buildings were certainly taller, though. His was a lot of neighborhoods surrounded by factories, which had made Wings' attacks truly disruptive to the families and industry of the area. Here, she could cause just as much chaos, but worse, she may actually decide to stay here for the information.

Avery turned around as well abd took her phone out of the hidden pocket inside her jacket. Dialing a very familiar number, she brought the device up to her ear.

“Velocity? Yeah, I have a small situation… No, no. I’m not hurt… No, I just need to take someone to the hideout…” she sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose beneath her mask. “V, would you please just make sure that no one else is there? I have to make sure we can trust this guy before any of you meet him… Yes, it is a guy… No, I do not just want he time alone with him. My word, Velocity, I’m still getting over… Okay. Thank you. Goodbye.”

In her little workshop, Brella opened a cabinet and nabbed her expanded toolbox, taking only a second to note with satisfaction that she was already getting used to her new workspace.

With her guantlets barely damaged during the fight, she only had maintenance to do. He boots, on the other hand, had taken a bit of a beating due to her hasty and reckless retreat. Those took a hammer and some minor reconstruction, but she had enough scrap to make that happen. Forgoing a welding kit, Brella used energy to fuse together the new plates, and simply beat out some of the smaller dents, which had missed all the important wiring bits. The fitting went back in after the work was done, and she took a minute to try them out before setting them on a shelf above her computer.

She peeked between the boards of the blocked up window of her shop, and swore she saw a flash of red among the black sky.

Avery hung up with a sigh and stuffed the phone back in it’s hiding place. She turned back to Shadow, crossing her arms over her chest.

“We’re all set to go if you’re ready. All of my teammates are at their houses,” she explained.

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan used his powers to cover his mouth and nose, and his eyes turned black. Now comfortably obscure, he turned towards Aspect and nodded, letting her lead the way.

Brella began to panic a little as the red approached her little hideout. She pressed her wings to an outlet and drained all the enrgy from the building. The whole place went dark. She slipped into her gauntlets and boots and listened intently for any sound coming from the roof.

@Mr.Misfit

(Yeah, that was the plan. Apologies, I probably should've explained. We should get the villains together either after a mini fight of their own, or have one pretty much spy on the other until they get found out.)

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Ah, okay. Thanks. That's a good idea. I like the fight idea; more action and interaction that way.)

Megan flew up to the building, careful to keep out of sight of the two heroes on the roof. She stumbled a little as she fell, due to her bad wing, but she caught herself before she could fall.

There was someone in the building; she had seen her go in when she dropped the man off. And now she was incredibly curious about the other winged woman…

@Mr.Misfit

"You have a car?" Dylan asked, miffed, "You're not worried about being traced? Why not just shape-shift?" He held his hand out to his right, and his shadowed motorcycle formed, "I usually use this…"

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan raised an eyebrow, but shrugged summoned steps to take him and Aspect off the roof. As they approached, the door opened on its own, and there was no one at the wheel.

"Wait, what? Your car self-drives?" he said, surprised, "Well okay then… that's frickin cool."

Brella got tired of waiting and went outside through her only open window. Using her gauntlets and wings, she ascended up onto the roof, where she found absolutely nothing.

Shadow must have tracked me here…. or maybe a new friend of his here?

Her hands began to glow, "I don't really feel like dealing with pests right now, so if you're out here, scram!"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Avery chuckled and walked over to run her hand over the hood of the car.

"Hey, Oscar," she greeted the silver mustang before sitting down in the driver's seat.

"Welcome back, Aspect," it replied in a masculine, and slightly British-sounding, voice.

"This is Shadow. We're taking him to the hideout," she explained as the car opened its passenger side door for the man.

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan's pitch-black eyes went wide, "Woah…. ok, you can stop showing off now. "

It really was quite impressive, and he couldn't help but admire the whole picture… Aspect had a good thing going. She was going to be a very useful ally indeed. He slid into the driver's seat and they took off, Aspect not even bothering to put her hands on the wheel.
(Maybe we wanna focus on the villains for a while?)

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Sure.)

Megan laughed and walked out from behind the building. She pushed at the air with her wings and shot into the sky before landing in front of the other woman.

“I would hardly call myself a pest, but you may if you’d like,” she declared with a shrug. “Though don’t think you’ll get very far with that.”

@Mr.Misfit

The bird woman laughed as she flew, and landed with grace, which in truth only made Brella hate her more.

"You better have a good reason for being nosy, birdie pest," she taunted, "if you don't, you should fly away now, before you become the second rear I kick today."
