"All right. I'll see you later, then?" Autumn wondered.

Alex nodded. "Yeah! I'll call you if the producer calls me back."

Autumn smiled. "Cool. Thanks."

Alex awkwardly patted Autumn's shoulder. "Have a good rest of your night."

"Thanks. You too," Autumn said with a smile.

Alex returned the smile and gently shut her door. He kept the smile. I think that was somewhat successful.

Autumn sighed when Alex left, cringing to herself as she walked to her bathroom.

I cannot believe he saw me like that…

Alex trotted to the elevator, pressed the ground level button, then went out to the hotel. He plopped down on his bed with a gentle sigh.

Autumn had fallen asleep in her bed, clean and wearing a fresh set of pajamas. She groaned as she accidentally rolled onto her stomach, which still hurt from throwing up earlier.

It was the next morning. Alex had slept through the early morning and was going strong for the afternoon. The sun didn't bother this man, oh no.
