Alex nodded in agreement. “But you know what’s better?”

“What?” Autumn asked with a grin.

“You!” Alex cheekily smiled and pecked her cheek.

Autumn snorted and rolled her eyes. “How did I not see that coming?”

Alex chuckled happily, half-closing his eyes. “The best part is you didn't see it coming.”

“You’re ridiculous. And cheesy. And ridiculously cheesy,” Autumn declared as she relaxed into him again.

Alex laughed and held her close. “I know you love it.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah… Of course I love it. I love you,” Autumn murmured as she buried her face in his neck again.

Alex smiled and leaned his chin on her head. Her hair was soft on his skin.
“I love you too, babe.”

Autumn hummed with a smile. “You’re a great guy. You know that?”

Alex nodded, grinning. “I take pride in being a good person.”

“Modest much?” Autumn teased with a chuckle, pressing another soft kiss to his neck.

Alex giggled and wiggled under her kiss. “Modest is not my strong suit.”

“I’ve noticed,” Autumn chuckled, her lips still against his skin.

Alex leaned back into the kiss, shutting his eyes. “You have?

“I mean, we’ve been together for almost a year, now. You’d think I’d notice something like that by now,” Autumn murmured between kisses.

Alex chuckled softly again, half-closing his eyes. “Right you are.”

“I’m always right,” Autumn joked with a chuckle.

Alex nodded slowly. “Yes you are.”

“Even when I say I won,” Autumn teased, kissing him again.

“Nah. Not that time. Ever other time you are.”

Autumn snorted and continued placing her soft kisses across his neck. “Nope. Especially then.”

Alex wiggled away from her kisses, giggling. “Stahhhhp!”

“I thought you liked this!” Autumn laughed as she scooted closer to continue her barrage.

Alex wiggled away again. “Stahhp!” He clearly was enjoying it.
