Alex laughed. “No, no, I’m good. Hey, where’s your sister?”
Alex laughed. “No, no, I’m good. Hey, where’s your sister?”
"Probably upstairs, primping," Autumn said with a loose shrug. "She's a girl-girl with a taste for Rock, quite the combination, I assure you."
Alex laughed and reached up to pull off his nose. “Cool, then I can take this stuff off.”
"Uh, well she could be downstairs any second, so…" Autumn said, with a quick glance at the stairs.
Alex paused in his nose pulling. “So… should I?”
"I'd leave it on," Autumn laughed.
Just as she finished speaking, a tall blonde bounced down the stairs. Her eyes settled on Alex, widening in surprise.
"You– You're–" she looked to Autumn in shock. Her voice was faint when she spoke, "Is that who I think it is?"
Alex blinked a little, trying to remember who he was like on stage; loud and obnoxious.
Alex put his hands on his hips. “I think you can see for yourself!” He made his voice loud and boom-y.
The teen's eyes darted to Alex, back to Autumn, and landed on the rock star once again.
"Woah…" she breathed. "You're Exanger… I can't believe you're in my house…"
Exanger put his hands on his hips. “Yep. Here I am!”
Autumn rolled her eyes at his changed behavior. She liked him better as just Alex.
"Yeah, he offered to give me a ride to LA. You remember me telling you that he was coming to pick me up today, don't you?" she asked her sister.
"Um, yeah, but I didn't think you were serious about it!" Kayla exclaimed, regaining her composure somewhat.
Alex gave a gentle sigh and pushed his nose up again. “Yep. We’re going down to LA for a meeting. She offered to give me company.”
"Well, wow. Okay, this is… Wow…" Kayla stuttered for a moment before she looked at Exanger and grinned, extending her hand. "I'm Kayla."
Alex gave a slight, happy grin and took her hand. “Hi, there, Kayla! Call me Alex, okay?”
"Alex? Sure. It's so cool to meet you," Kayla said as she released his hand.
Alex smiled warmly. “It’s great to meet you too!”
"Is there a chance I could get your autograph?" Kayla asked hesitantly.
Alex nodded. “Sure! Where do you want it?”
"One sec." She ran upstairs to grab something, and Autumn sighed as she left.
"Well, then…"
Alex relaxed out of his confident posture. “Wow… I wasn’t expecting that.”
"I told you she was a fan…" Autumn murmured before her sister came back down the stairs, a small notebook in hand.
Kayla flipped through it as she walked over, finding an empty page. The notebooks pale blue color contrasted with the bold, black lettering on the front that read "Autographs". She held it out to Alex with a smile.
"Anywhere on the page would be great," she said.
Alex chuckled gently and took the pen and notebook. “Do you want me to make it out to anyone?”
"Just Kayla is fine," the teen answered with a grin.
Alex hummed and scrawled his stage name in a line of space. He wrote a little thank you note, signed it off for Kayla and handed it back with a smile.
"Thanks so much," Kayla practically gushed. She glanced between the two, and then at her watch. "Don't you guys need to leave soon?"
Autumn checked the time herself and grimaced. "Yes, actually, we do. I'll see you later, 'kay?"
"Yup! Have fun you two!" Kayla said as she went back upstairs.
Alex chuckled gently and made sure she was back in her room. He took off his nose and wig with a gentle sigh.
“Shall we, then?”
