If she could stay in his arms forever, she would. What was the point of leaving him if she felt so comfortable?
If she could stay in his arms forever, she would. What was the point of leaving him if she felt so comfortable?
He pulled back, kissing her forehead, "As much as I wish we could stay like this forever, we should be getting back."
"Getting back where? We're already home." She glanced around his room before her eyes landed on him again.
(Holy shit I forgot where they were I"m so sorry lmao, I'm never taking a break from this website again)
Dorian just smirked, "Home? It might be where I live but it isn't really home. Come on, there's some place I need to show you."
(Haha it's all good!)
She smiled a little. "Okay then, lead the way."
He held out his hand for her to take, grinning like an idiot, "Hurry up then."
She rolled her eyes with a smile before taking his hand.
His grin grew and they headed out his room, towards the gardens.
As he pulled across what had been the dance floor, she smiled. Would she be here today if he hasn't noticed her? Probably not.
He headed towards the place he'd taken her a few days ago, past the fountain and deeper into the gardens. The trees and flowers were denser, but prettier, it seemed.
She was a little confused about where he was pulling her but she was mostly curious, wanting to see exactly where he was planning on taking her.
(sorry for being slow again, I only have one more day left of school for the year then I'll be active loads more)
Eventually, after a while of traveling through the dense trees, they opened up into a rose garden, and at the end, a small cottage. It was surrounded by man different coloured roses, flowers and other plant life, vines growing over the bricks. Dorian grinned, "This is home."
(That and you live on the other side of the planet from me so we're in very different time zones so that it's nearly impossible for both of us to be on at the same time)
She gasped in astonishment, her eyes sparkling in wonder. "How on Earth did you find this place?"
(that's true)
Dorian giggled, "Mum and I built it. Well, she started it and then I finished most of it," He said, setting off towards the cottage, "No one else knows about this place."
"So you decided to show me why? It seems so personal…"
He shrugged, "I know I can trust you, and I wanted to show you."
"You're too sweet to me." She pecked his lips with a soft smile.
Dorian blushed lightly, "I'm not that sweet."
"False. You are. You're the sweetest guy I've ever met."
"You flatter me," He mumbled, blushing deeper, "Because I am really not that sweet."
"You lie through your teeth. I believe what I believe and you cannot convince me otherwise."
He waved a hand idly, giving the back of her hand a kiss, "If you say so, sweetheart," He held the door open to the cottage for her, "After you."
She rolled her eyes with a smile before walking into the cottage.
It was small but homey, different plants hanging from the windows and doorways. When they walked in, there was a small living room and sitting area with a kitchen to the side of it. Behind that, was a small bathroom and bedroom with another small sitting room to the side.
"Ooo, cozy. I'd live here if I had the chance." She sat on one of the couches. "No rules, no regulations. Just me, a notebook and pen, and a cup of lavender tea."
