The cafe door opens and Icares strolls in. He immediately draws the attention of the whole cafe, with his demonic aura and all. He comes up to the counter and taps his fingers, not impatiently, but rhythmically, a sly smile playing on his lips.
(Phantom, do you mind if we keep going and you join when you can?)
(don't think phantom is online, let's keep going and they can jump in)
(Yeah, I'll make a dramatic entrance later, y'all can keep going without me)
(oh my gosh it's the lord of the carnival hiiiii)
Roman looks up, “Oh, how can I help you, sir?” He tucks his hair out of his face and flips the notepad closed. He pocket his pencil straightening up and smiling warmly. He looked the guy over, quiet and then back to his face, “Anything you’re looking for in particular?”
"let's see…" He scans over the menu, taking his time. "What do you recommend?"
Roman looks over his shoulder at the menu. “Well, I’d say. . . The muffiin’s are pretty good, as well as the coffee. . . So, your choice.” He smiles back at the man, waiting patiently as he debated about the choices.
(I do have to go soon- I’ll be back asap)
He certainly takes his time deciding, not caring about the people in line behind him. "hm, coffee sounds good, I'll try that." He grins, revealing sharp fangs.
Roman notices the fags and ignores them, smiling again, “Of course.” He turns around, making the coffee. “Sugar or cream?” He asks, looking over his shoulder.
(Mind that they are curently in the mortal realm)
"You decide, I trust your judgment."
(Is it cool if I jump in now?)
The door to the cafe opened seemingly on its own as Erebus waltzed in to the cafe in all of her glory, her deep-golden eyes lazily flicking around the room. The patrons of the cafe turned in her direction when they saw movement out of the corner of their eyes and she relished in their surprise and confusion. She felt more feminine today, opting to wear a dazzling and rather revealing skin-tight ruby red dress, the gems embedded in the fabric lighting up the room when the sun hit them, and the curls in her long silky purple hair bounced flawlessly as she walked to the counter, smirking confidently.
She damn well knew that this was not the type of outfit worn to a cafe, which is exactly why she choose this particular look. She walked passed the line and moved in front of the man at the counter, acting as if he wasn't even there. She flashed the cashier a dazzling, sly smile, her eyes practically glowing.
"Hello, doll," she said to him, her voice deep and velvety. "I'll take an iced caramel macchiato with as many espresso shots as you can fit in. You can do that for me, right, love?"
(I'm sorry, that's just how I normally write-)
(I'll wait for Rhys, it seems unfair to move on without them)
(I'm sorry, that's just how I normally write-)
(nah nah you're alr it's funny. I mean, challenge accepted)
(Yes, finally something for me to work off of- <3)
Roman adds a small amount of sugar and then mixes it.
He looks up and frowns slightly, his eyes scanning the new person in front of him, “Yes, but in my cafe, you’ll have to wait your turn, just like everyone else.” He looks around her to the man who he was previously waiting. He sets the coffee down, smiling still.
(And I do nothing with it, lol)
(are we following turns now?)
