Alright so I'm stressed as anything because I've just started a new school and everything is very overwhelming and I need something soft and gay and yeah. I'm sorry if I'm slow, time zones and, like I said, starting a new school is what I should be focusing on but yeah, here we are. I will reply when I can.
Honestly up for anything so if you have a prompt you've been dying to use then bring it over.
If I don't know you I will ask for a writing sample.
Please be patient with me, I'm trying, don't get mad if I don't reply as much as some other people. Be nice and respectful and shi.
My normal rules apply, I'm just too lazy to write them out right now as we can tell, I'm doing fan-bloody-tastic right now
Hey hey hey Carrots! Take a deep breath. Relax. I have 2 very soft twink boi's and a few good soft prompts to match and I'm totally up to join this!
Hey Ev :) of course you can join, what are the prompts?
Well let's look over characters. I don't throw up prompts until I know characters so I can figure out sorta what will fit and can be seen between the two. But the two soft boi's I have ARE
Invalid Character -Alex
Invalid Character -Satsu
Oo I think Satsu might work a little better with the character I was thinking of using.
Okay! Do you have a template or link or…? I have a pretty basic template if you'd like to use that instead
Invalid Character - here's the link to Will (ignore the stuff about the background. For the sake of this rp we'll just say his background/education is tbd)
I feel like him and Alex would get along much better. And besides that Satsu is an elemental if you read the whole thing. It'd be sorta weird but also interesting if only one of us did magic in the roleplay
Fair enough. Well, if you think Alex would work better then that's cool :)
Anyways do you have a starter?
Right yeah, we kinda need a plot first…
You said you had some prompts, care to share? If not I can look some up.
"I mistook your clothes at the laundromat for mine, but hey you have some really nice underwear…Is that the batman emblem?"
"Imagine person A takes person B out for valentines day as friends, since person A's plans got cancelled, and person A realizes they would rather be out with person B in the first place."
"You’re my neighbor and the whole neighborhood got 6 inches of snow, and I caught you building a snowman, so I decided to join you by starting a snowball fight." (Alex is building the snowman)
"Hi brand new neighbor, I know you don't know me but you smiled at me the other day, and you seem really nice, can you help me kill the giant spider in my kitchen? I'll reward you with food."
“I’m painting my roommates’ room with her and you live across the hall and I kind of tripped and spilled a bucket of glitter on you but hey the look suits you!”
Peering up at your flatmate, you tried not to fidget nervously, offering them a small sheepish smile. You were in trouble.
“They …followed me home?” You said hesitantly, the excuse coming off more as a question than a statement.
Staring blankly at you, they sighed loudly, stepping into the flat fully as they nudged the door shut behind them and absently locked it. Taking in the sight of you sitting on the floor with your arms full of kitten sized dragons, they finally just dropped their things and groaned loudly in exasperation.
Blushing, you could only watch as they rubbed at their face tiredly, ignoring the tiny purple dragon currently attempting to climb up to your face, little claws digging into you slightly through your shirt.
“There’s no way I can convince you to take them back to where ever you got them from, is there?” Your flatmate asked you dryly, warily watching as a particularly plump little dragon waddled over to try and play with a loose thread on their pants.
(Yes Alex would totally bring home a hoard of baby dragons)
Moving into a new town was never easy. Especially when you were a socially awkward teen who had never had any friends. Also the fact that you only had an adoptive dad who was a completely different skin tone which raised a lot of questions at any school you went to. However, it was something that Willem was used to by now. The constant moving around for John's work, never really having any friends but hey, maybe this time he'd get lucky.
It was spring when they moved into the small, three bedroom house. They had only arrived that day, the two of them slowly starting to unload the many boxes of stuff the two of them had. It was a warm day, something that didn't bother Will too much now. In the beginning when he had first moved to The Sates from England, he hated it. But, it grew on him.
He was unpacking boxes from the van, onto the grass at this particular time, wanting to get everything out of the vehicle before he started decorating his new room… for the billionth time.
Alex was in the kitchen, cooking away for his Anime Clubs Bake Sale, to hopefully raise enough money so that everyone could go to Anime Con. Now, Crystal Love Rosethorns house was massive. Alex had 15 other adoptive siblings, and no one had to share a room so one can only imagine how big. Crystal got it for cheap since the basement is haunted, but barely anyone goes down there so it really isn't an issue. Evelyn's face was glued to the huge 3 panel picture window that jutted out of the living room, watching the new neighbors move in. The last neighbors were a really sweet elderly couple who asked the kids to walk their little Frenchie named Phillip all the time along with their dogs. In return they were given candy or a few bucks. Suddenly Crystal called out. "THE ROSETHORN TRAIN IS LEAVING! EVERYONE INTO THE VAN!" There was a flurry of comotion as his 15 siblings either stuffed themselves into the van or sped off on bikes, scooters, skateboards and rollerskates. Leaving Alex home alone.
Willem moved all the boxes into the house, sighing softly to himself at the mess that was in front of him. It was then that John said he had to go out, something for work apparently what Will didn't bother listening to. The dark skinned man ruffled the teen's hair, grabbing his keys and leaving him to start unpacking. Of course he knew he didn't have to do it all, but he would make a good effort to get a lot of the smaller things done.
He moved his boxes up to his room, finding his bed frame already made with the mattress onto. He sighed in relief, setting the boxes on the floor. It wasn't a big room, but it had large floor to ceiling windows facing the neighbours house. Not that he minded, it let in all the sunlight making the room feel larger then it was.
However, it was then when he noticed the spider on the corner of the wall and his eyes widened. He hated spiders. A lot. And there was no bug spray on hand because it was tucked away in one of the boxes somewhere. A split second decision had him quickly walking down the stairs of his house, out the door and to the neighbours doorstep, knocking.
Alex was humming away. He wore a black hoodie that had cat ears on it and grey sweats as he worked, when he heard a knocking at the door. "Evelyn must've forgotten something…" He said quietly, putting down the metal whisk and going over to the door. He then opened it, and jumped back. This. Was not someone he recognized. And therefore, he was afraid.
Willem gasped softly, "Oh gosh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," He said quickly, taking a few steps back from the door, "Um hi, I'm Will, I just moved in next door and I was uh wondering if I could ask for a favor?" He bit his lip, raising a brow. He knew this was a long shot but damn he wasn't letting that spider live another day.
"And uh what favor is that?" Alex asked, looking around, already beginning to pick at his sweater sleeves, fraying them more than the already were. It was an anxiety thing. He began to also take a few breaths as his eyes focused on he realized was the rather cute boy before him.
“I need a bottle of bug spray,” He said seriously, “I can’t find ours and there’s a spider that I would really like gone.” Will stuck his hands in his pockets, rocking back on his heels. Gosh he prayed, this boy would say okay, if only to stop the fear of being bitten by the small creature.
Alex headed inside and came back with a plastic container with holes in the lid. "I really love bugs…show me where it is." He said shyly with a wide smile. "Especially spiders. It's probably just a harmless Daddy Long Legs."
Willem shivered, "I hate them, follow me." He headed back towards his own home, holding the doors open for the other boy and apologising for the mess. Will led them up to the second floor and to his room, pointing to the corner where the slightly large spider sat.
