(All good, sorry for the wait on a response! Also, completely forgot what type of museum we landed on…going with history museum)
"All of it," She admitted with a soft laugh, skimming over what was written. After a moment, she pointed to a section labeled 'American History'. "Can we start here?" Selina looked toward Frankie with a smile. The map said the section was located on the second floor, almost right above them. It was far from the first exhibit they could look at, but she figured he would know more on the subject than she did. "Is there anywhere you want to look at?"

(It's ok. Don't worry, you remembered right.)

Frankie chuckled at her first enthusiastic answer but nodded when she pointed at the map. “Your wish is my command.” he smiled, half-joking before leading her towards the stairway. “Umm, well, I don't really have a preference but I do like some American History and learning a bit about the local history is kind of interesting too.” he admitted. Though there was always the other side of history that didn't often get told, he hoped he would be able to answer any questions she might have about the exhibits.

@gracehustle

"If they have anything about the local history, maybe we can look at it," She suggested, cheerily walking with him. Several other guests gave them strange looks as they went by, probably because their voices broke the gentle silence. Still, Selina didn't care in the least. With a soft smile, she realized they were still holding hands from earlier, and the realization made a soft blush cross her face, though she didn't let go. It was nice to hold Frankie's hand, and she felt a little less out of place doing so.

Looking at a wider view of history sounded more fun than only local history, but at least Selina would be able to explain things in the local history. Or at least she would be able to if it mentioned her pack and its past.

“If you're interested.” he grinned, since he was curious about that. But he wasn't going to make her go if she didn't want to. Frankie ignored the other people in the museum, as he thought their voices were at an appropriate level if a little excited. Besides, he was a little distracted by Selina’s smile. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze, noticing how her face suddenly flushed. “You ok?”

@gracehustle

"Yeah, I'm alright," She replied, her blush only growing when he asked. Selina shot a glance over at him, unable to contain a smile before she looked away again. Quickly she was realizing she was developing a crush on Frankie, and even though werewolves were usually far from shy about their feelings…she was almost embarrassed about it. Her face flushed deeper when she imagined getting another kiss from him.

"Let's get going," Selina finally said, brightening up as she hid her feelings and pulled him further into the museum, up the stairs to where their exhibit was.

Frankie smiled back when he saw her looking at him. He'd been aware of his growing attraction to Selina for quite a while now, though it was hard for him to pinpoint exactly when those feelings started. But given his failed previous relationship attempts, he was hesitant to bring up the topic and risk ruining a wonderful friendship.

“Right behind you.” he laughed softly, keeping his voice down to avoid disturbing the other customers again as he let Selina pull him through the museum.

@gracehustle

Selina pulled him along through the museum, happily following the posted signs until they reached the American History portion. She slowed when they reached it and glanced over at Frankie, squeezing his hand. "You'll explain things to me if I ask…right?" She figured he would do so, but she wanted to make sure before venturing into the various exhibits they had. Just from a quick glance, some things looked very interesting, but she waited until she had an answer before heading towards the first display, which was an old book, laid out under a glass box and open to what looked like a diary entry.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“I will.” he assured her with a nod, giving her hand a gentle squeeze in return. “At least, as much as I can.” he amended since he didn't know everything about history… Frankie wasn't even sure if he would consider himself a history buff, just someone who had an interest in the topic. He glanced around at some of the different exhibits, when he noticed they had stopped, and looked for anything familiar. Though considering where the book had been placed by the curator it was pretty obvious that it was thought to be important.

(😳ok, I just looked back at these last few posts and realized how big of a gap I’d left between replies, and want to apologize for that. I had no idea it had been that long… I don't have an excuse other than just not knowing what to write 😅🥺 but if you want to, I would still like to continue this RP. Again, I'm sorry about the long wait.)

@gracehustle

(Oh no worries, I'm totally still up for this if you are? Also….strange to think about, but thanks for sticking with this for…shit…three years? Just under that? That's crazy to think about lol)

"You know more than I do," She answered cheerfully, stopping at the book on display and reading over what was written. The entry under the book explained that the book was an old diary that detailed some of the events leading to the city founding as well as an old children's tale about creatures in the woods. It also detailed that the entry was written at the same time as some of the other events shown around the museum, and dated its writing back at least a hundred years.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

(I am definitely up for continuing this! Has it really been three years? Wow! Might be one of my longest-running RP's 😆)

Frankie chuckled, matching her smile. “Well, maybe. But I did have to go to school to learn it all.” he reminded her before turning to the book in front of them. It was fascinating to look at; the old look of the paper, the elegant writing, and the spelling of certain words… “It's beautiful, isn't it? Reading how someone saw things back then and learning from them.” he smiled softly.

@gracehustle

(Definitely one of my longest running ones…I think it's second only to one that's been going for a year longer)

"It is…" She agreed, trailing off as she looked over the papers, "It's strange to think that someone took the time to write things down and we're reading them now." Selina took interest in the papers for a few more moments, a faint smile passing her face as she read over the brief entry on the story of creatures in the woods. Turning to look at Frankie, she motioned around with excitement in her eyes, "Well, you can choose something to look at now. If you want."

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Frankie smiled at her before looking back at the book, skimming a few passages again. He gave an inquisitive hum, raising a brow, at the part about the creatures in the woods. Perhaps the author had seen some of the local werewolves back in the day. “Alright. Let's try over here.” he suggested, taking her hand and starting to walk towards a different exhibit nearby.

@gracehustle

Selina smiled as he took her hand and walked with him, looking around eagerly at all of the different exhibits. They were all new to her and she was curious as to what they had to do with human history but she didn't ask any questions, figuring there would be plenty of time for her to ask questions later or at the exhibit that Frankie was bringing them to.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Frankie smiled back at her as they walked around. He made sure to stop at several of the exhibits, almost acting like a tour guide as he told her what he knew about the certain parts of history and willing to answer any questions she might have about the displays. It wasn't as much as a trained expert or someone with a doctorate would know but he was enjoying this all the same.

@gracehustle

(Sorry about the wait! Insane month to say the least…)
Anything he told her, she listened to intently, eager to learn whatever she could. Selina would admit that she asked more than enough questions, and by the time they had gone through a few exhibits, she was surprised he still put up with all of her questions. Still she didn't ask about it, taking in all the information and leading him from exhibit to exhibit whenever she saw something that caught her eye that she wanted to learn about.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

(It’s ok. Hope the rest of the month goes better.)

Frankie actually loved how interested she seemed and just smiled as he did his best to answer her questions. Though he blushed a little each time he had to admit if he didn't know or remember something. But he was glad to see Selina enjoying their little tour and relieved that he wasn't boring her. History had always been his favorite subject and he had often been teased about it by many of his peers. Seeing her inquisitive expression, and the fact that she didn't seem to run out of questions, made it so easy for him to relax around her.

@gracehustle

By the time she had gotten all of her questions answered and they had gotten through the entire museum, several hours had passed. Though in her mind it had seemed like time was flying. She had a bright smile on her face as they headed out of the museum, her head leaned on his shoulder from something she didn't even remember. "Thank you," She said, looking up at him, "I had a lot of fun." She had more than a lot of fun, it had been one of her favorite experiences ever, but going that far seemed like a surefire way to make Frankie a little wary of her.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

“I’m glad. I did too.” Frankie smiled back. The day had been going better than he’d ever thought. “I can't actually remember the last time I had this much fun with someone at a museum.” he admitted, blushing a little, hoping the confession wouldn't put her off. He enjoyed her questions and did his best to answer them, though he told her when he wasn't sure about something.

@gracehustle

"Well then, I'm happy I could make it fun again," She replied, feeling her own cheeks heat as she blushed, "What should we do now? Anything else fun to do around here?" Selina didn't care if they went back or if they stayed around to see sights, all of it sounded truly interesting, learning more from him or teaching him more about where she lived. The city was incredibly interesting to her, even the sound of exploring more and learning more about how humans lived was fascinating.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

(NP!)

“You really did.” Frankie smiled back at her, feeling his own blush rise. “As far as what to do next… I don't know if it counts as “fun” but how about we get some lunch?” he suggested, since they had spent so much time in the museum. “I think I saw a dinner between here and the laundromat. They usually have some pretty good food.”

@gracehustle

"Oh food sounds wonderful," She agreed with an eager nod, "That sounds fun to me." Selina hadn't realized how much time they had spent in the museum, but as he brought up the thought of food she realized how hungry she actually was. Especially with the chance to try food that she or her pack hadn't prepared or cooked, it sounded like a delicacy to eat at the diner he spoke about. She glanced around the parking lot outside of the museum until she spotted his car and headed towards it, lacing her fingers with his to walk with him. She thought nothing of the action, happy to be holding his hand and even happier to be heading to see new things.
