Jason raised an eyebrow, sensing a change in Majima's attitude. He was…giddy?

'Ok then'

Yes, Jason was excited, but he wasn't too excited, after all, they had just met. It was strange that Majima was so quick to want to start a friendship. Perhaps he had read him wrong.
His initial thought was mere friendship, but this newfound eagerness made him suspect otherwise. He would just have to keep an eye open for any suspicious behavior.

He neared a guard, telling him that he wanted to make a phone call and the guard led him to a booth. He sat down, stared at the phone for a moment, and started dialing a number. He had resolved to calling Tony Rodriguez, an old friend of his father. He had a foot in law and another in gang life. Besides, Tony owed him.

Majima watched Jason walk away, standing and waiting a minute or two before approaching the guards and asking the same. He was still fidgeting with his fingers and tapping his foot in excitement.

"We'll have to have you wait until the Prisoner that entered is done, since you both were talking together." The guard said, with a hint of fear in their eyes they'll have to use some sort of tazer on Majima.

"Oh Fine, Ill remember this though~♪" Majima huffed, angered at the fact he couldn't just use one of the nearby booths.

Majima decided to sit down at one of the Lunch tables and wait for Jason to come out, still fidgeting with his fingers as before. He was also whistling the same tune he was earlier, 24-Hour Cinderella.

"Hey, Tony?" Jason knew he had to be careful what he said seeing as how everything is recorded, he had already devised a plan of what to say.
"Who the hell is this." Tony replied
Jason chuckled, "It's Jason McKeehan, I need a favor."
"Oh damn, Jason? Is it really you? Shit, it's been forever man, what can I do for you?"
"I need you to go to my father's house and wipe things clean, in my absence things have probably getting dirtier by the minute." Jason smiled.
There was silence on the other end for a moment before Tony replied, "Of course man, it'll take at least a week, you good with that?"
Jason grimaced, a week.
"Sure yeah, that's fine, thanks Tony."
"For sure, see ya then."

Jason hung up and turned to leave, nodding at the guard. He smiled to himself, he could wait a week if needed.

Majima was slowly getting Impatient, even though it hadn't been that long whatsoever. He suddenly snapped his head to the door when he saw Jason walk through, hoping that while Majima was on his call, that Jason would wait for him.

"Jason! How did your call go?" Majima asked, standing up and walking towards him near the door.

He was still very giddy, with a sense of impatience, fidgeting his fingers. His eyes were still slightly bright with the lights of the cafeteria behind him. He wanted to pat Jason on the back but still wanted to give Jason some space, considering he seemed ever so slightly on edge through his smile. Majima felt that Jason would be on edge a lot, but he honestly didn't care too much, as long as he wasn't pursued by anyone other than him or Kiryu, he was happy.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

Jason smiled, somewhat sincere smile, but it was laced with uncertainty. He was sure that his plan would work, but he couldn't be positive. He would call in a couple of days to check the progress.

"It went splendidly." Jason said, beckoning to the door, "You had a call too?"

He studied the man once more. He was in higher spirits upon calling Tony, so his judgment wasn't cloudy. Yes, Majima was full of energy for no apparent reason, but Jason sincerely believed that he did not have any ill intentions.

@K14N language

"Yeah, Was gonna call my pal' Kiryu." Majima said, his body bouncing a bit at the name, as he looked to the guard near the door. That guard took Majima into the calling room, sitting him down at a spot.

Majima quickly dialed Kiryu's cell, bouncing in his seat. The cell rang four or five times before picking up.

"KIRYU KAZUMA-ChAN yA~!" Majima yelled, the guard behind him standing and tapping Majima inconsiderately on the shoulder. This yell definitely could've been heard if you were nearby.
"Keep it down." The Guard said, to which Majima turned and flashed a very violent eye. One of a relentless killer.

The guard shuddered, putting his hand up in an apologetic gesture and sitting down behind him. Majimas's air was suddenly filled with anger but quickly changed back to his near giddy state.

"Majima-san? Why are you calling me? I thought Nishida was supposed to call me." Kiryu held a tone of confusion.
"Nishida is taking my spot as patriarch, for now, Kiryu-chan~, Im in prison!" Majima replied, bouncing in his seat again.
"Are you joking with me, Majima?"
"Nope! Not one bit!"
Kiryu sighed on the end of the phone.
"Whenever you're this happy, you're obviously not lying. You sure Nishida has everything handled..?"
"Yeah, I trust Nishida, unless if you want to run my gang of fools~!"
"No Thanks… Do you need me to come to pay your Bail?" Kiryu asked, knowing full well the call was being monitored, he had been in prison himself once.
"Hmm.. Ill let you decide that, Kiryu-chan~." Majima snickered, tapping his fingers on the phone.
"Im going to go now, be careful of other Yakuza." Kiryu smiled ever so slightly, only because he was able to catch a break of Majima and because he knew he had owed Majima.
"But, I want to tell you about someone I met here..!"
"Fine…" Kiryu replied, the smile turning to happy annoyance.

They talked for a decent while, Majima wasting some of his time to convince the guard he didn't already have a plan of escape.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

Jason jumped a bit, hearing yelling and he peeked through the window in the door to see Majima threatening the guard, at least that's what it looked like.

He sat down on a bench nearby, which was naturally, bolted to the floor, and began thinking of this strange man he had met. He always seemed really happy, and Jason was unsure how to take it. Usually, when you go from fighting someone to bouncing up in down with joy, something is off in the head. Jason sensed mania, but he wasn't positive.

Nonetheless, Jason hated to say it, but he liked him. He had grown to not let himself get attached to people, but Jason needed some light in his life, maybe Majima would be that person for him.

He fidgeted a bit, thinking to his plan of escape with Tony, thinking of Majima, before he grew impatient. He walked to the door and looked in.

'Still on the damn phone, what are they talking about?'

@K14N language

Majima soon hung up the phone, sighing sadly. He wanted to talk more with Kiryu, but nonetheless, he walked out of the room, seeing Jason near the door. His personality was still giddy, but this time with a hint of anger, paired with sadness.

"Sorry that took me a bit, Just had to tell Kiryu Kazuma-chan~ About you..!" Majima said, hyper, happy, and slowly returning to a neutral state.

The guard who had been in the room with Majima was frozen in the doorway, his eyes filled with fear as he stared at Majima's back. He had been threatened by Majima, but not verbally. He wasn't actually scared of Majima, but if left alone with Majima it could be dangerous.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

"Wait, why did you tell some random person about me?" Jason eyed Majima, "Ok, some ground rules, number one, dont go around talking about me like I'm your new pet. There are ears everywhere, just don't, got it? Number two, don't act like I'm your new pet, I am a human being, don't treat me like some cute accesory."
Jason huffed a bit, walking away. Honestly, he just didn't know how dangerous it was to talk so freely about him. That, and this did nothing to help the fact that Jason was already wary of him.

@K14N language

Majima tilted his head, a confused look on his face, yet something snapped in Majima's mind. He didnt follow Jason, but he said this loud enough to try and stop Jason in his tracks.

"All I said was that I met a guy named Jason and that you're pretty cool. The rest of my time really went towards asking Kiryu about how he survived prison." Majima seemed a bit pushed by his response, noticing that he was still on edge. "If you're so scared about your name being spread, then what are you hiding, and who are you scared of?"

Majima, of course, wouldn't push him to answer if he didn't want to. He purely wanted to see Jason's reaction out of superstition, the air to Majima becoming somewhat violent and unruled, he didn't want to start a fight, but he didn't want someone to assume he was trying to put a hit on them.

"Also, you are not a pet in any sort of way to me. I only think of you as a friend and a sparring partner." Majima felt the need to clarify, leaving his definition of sparring partner up in the air to assume.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

"Would you quiet it down??" Jason hissed, turning and walking back to Majima, "I can't just spill out my backstory Majima, you'll just have to believe me for now and not make your calls about me"

Jason sighed and gripped his temples, he was being irritable and he knew it. He wasn't used to having, well, whatever Majima was, friend? He had always been double-crossed, so he always had to be on his guard.

"Look, I'm sorry ok? Just, things are tense outside of here, and frankly, dangerous for me. I don't expect for you to understand."

@K14N language

Majima himself didn't expect Jason to respond this way. To Majima, he was hiding something, but at the same time, Majima didn't feel the need to act out about it. It was Jason's business.

"Don't worry, I accept your apology. I guess Im sorry as well, now that I think about it. I understand the fact that things are dangerous outside of here for you as well, not specifically what's happening, but Kiryu dealt with dangerous things after prison the majority of his life. Hell, I even waited for his ten-year sentence to be over before challenging him again. He also told me he still is dealing with some leftover shit, so if you need someone to back you up when you get out, let me know." Majima suddenly tapped out of any giddiness that was leftover previously, which had changed to a sort of seriousness, but mysteriousness. This was his personality under the shell of the maniac he really was. He was being genuine.

Majima expected Jason to walk away, he was unsure of what to say from this point forward. He had stopped fidgeting, he was standing with proper posture, and he was cautious with his words and gestures.

Majima himself had never lived the dangerous life because he never acknowledged it. He took life as it was, and in dangerous situations, someone or something had found its way to back him up, like the years ago he fought almost 40-50 Yakuza men on top of a tower to save someone who didn't even know his name. Someone he felt affection for. A blind woman named Makoto Makimura, a woman he was told to kill and then saved so that she could live a prosperous life as he felt he deserved for himself. Truthfully, Majima didn't want that danger for anyone else he had met, regardless of the time he knew them, which is why he felt so brutally attached to Kiryu Kazuma. Not only because Kiryu was his enemy, trying to protect Makoto for her wares, but because they were made to be rivals. Majima felt something about Jason, something like Kiryu's bond from the start, and he wanted to keep it.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

Jason smiled slightly, "Thanks, I appreciate it."

He sighed and pointed in the direction of their cell, and he started off to it. He was still mildly aggravated, well, more paranoid than aggravated. He was looking around, trying to see if anyone had heard the exchange, or if there was anything peculiar happening around him. He just saw faces of men, all the same, all with fake toughness. His nerves were eased a little bit as he finally made it to his cell, plopping down on the bed.

He sighed and turned to his side, facing the wall, deep in thought about his father, his plans, and Majima. A lot had happened, and he needed time to sort it all through in his head.

@K14N language

Majima averted his eye, still holding his stiff posture and mysteriously apologetic emotion as they walked to the cell.

"Yeah,," Majima couldn't come to terms with what he had done honestly, in which case, he sat on the floor instead of his bed opposite Jason, when they arrived at their cell. He sat with his knees up to his face, and his arms wrapped around his knees, not only watching Jason but watching the cell door. He was keeping an eye out for people, for Jason and himself.

He sat like that for a while, falling close to sleep sometimes, but trying to keep prying himself awake.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

After much thought, Jason had resolved to come clean to Majima. He sincerely thought that he had no ill will, and while he was in here, he might as well have someone know what was up.

"Look, Majima, I have to tell you something, but you can't repeat this, to absolutely anyone, got it?" Jason sat up and faced Majima. His heart was pounding out of his chest, he had never actually sat down and told someone these things before, especially to a stranger.

"Someone set fire to my house when I was young, killing my father and," Jason took off his shirt and turned around, "Left this scar. Since then, I have been hunting the man who did it down, or woman, I don't have much but I'm close. I have people constantly after me because of how close I am, and once I kill this person, a gang war will more than likely commence. That's why I can't have you say anything, because there are people who are willing to kill me in order to stop the war before it happens."

Jason threw his shirt on the bed and sat back down, sighing once more.

@K14N language

Majima flicked his head up to listen to his every word, his posture and overall expression tired but focused on what Jason had to say.

"I won't tell anyone. I already swore to protect you the moment we apologized to each other." Majima replied, in a low tone. Surprised, it almost sounded like a Yakuza war in a way. Yakuza were normally closely affiliated with gangs, so how could he not have heard about this?

After a while of them looking at each other and their surroundings, Majima shifted, standing up and stretching. He pulled his tank top off and set it down next to his bed. He sat on his bed minutes after stretching and looked at Jason with a deep and gratified expression.

"Had me wondering If you were related to Gang violence." He paused for a second, taking a deep breath, looking down to the concrete floor, and then back up at Jason. "I think Its time I tell you why Im here, and what Ive gone through as well."

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

Jason shifted uncomfortably upon hearing 'gang violence' thinking back to Dakuman, and many, many others. He shook his head slightly and looked up at Majima, smiling.

"I'm all ears."

Something deep within him, something that hadn't been felt in years, began to stir. Something warm and sticky, but frankly, Jason didn't know what it was. He thought maybe it was the aftermath of outing himself to Majima, but others would disagree.

@K14N language

"It all starts when my Yakuza brother, Saijima, decided to take a hit against a high up Yakuza spot. He wanted to take down one of the Yakuza families so that the Yakuza weren't as corrupt, but the hit was canceled, when I tried to rebel, Sajima went anyways, but another Yakuzas goons stopped me and took me captive. Leading me to years of torture, and where I lost my left eye." He paused, putting his fingers lightly onto his left eye. Since he couldn't keep his eye patch, all it was, was a bloody skin cut scar, his iris and pupil being a dark blood crimson red. It would always be like that.

"Afterward, I came to terms with myself and decided to work my way back into the Yakuza after being exiled, so I worked at a Cabaret Club called The Grand, -A Pretty Famous Cabaret Club for its customer service- I was the owner even. This is when I met a woman named Makoto. She was blind, and I was supposed to kill her to earn my spot back in the Yakuza. I never did. She still is alive from what I know. I had to go through hell and back to save that woman from every person that wanted to kill her. Fighting against Kiryu, Hundreds of Yakuza men, Gangs on the streets, I couldn't even count them. I saved her, but she never knew my name." Majima suddenly paused again, looking away from Jason and at the wall opposite the Jail bars. Something had tilted him. He took another deep breath.

"After she decided to move on with her life, I got my tattoo inked. Im currently known as the Mad Dog of Shimano, for somehow returning back to the Yakuza fearlessly after all those years of torture and pain. That's why some people know me, some are scared of me because of my fighting ability, In all reality Im a stone-cold killer with good cause, but now I work for the strength of pushing others forward."

Majima looked seconds away from either falling asleep or crying, his eyes still surrounding with dark shadows, his head pulsing with a little headache from memories. He laid down on the poor bed, his eyes filled with mixed emotions from past memories, Yet he never explained how he ended up in prison.

@someone_who_occasionally_writes_

Jason sat there for a moment, taking in the story, and processing it in his mind. His assumptions had been correct about being used to people following him. So they had one thing in common. He looked tenderly a the man lying on his bed, gaze thick with sympathy. He watched his body heave to and fro between breaths, and Jason sat there for a good while just watching the man. Something deep wtihin him was strangley content. Finally, someone who understood.

He smiled softly, walking over to him, not knowing if he was asleep or not, but nonetheless, he placed his hand softly on his shoulder and whispered "I'll protect you too."

He quietly left the room to find a quiet place to think out his plan of escape, now that he has Majima, it needed to be tweaked.
