"Aki, this is my grandmother." Lucien introduced with a soft smile. "Rémamí, this is Aki, my fiance."
The woman inclined her head faintly to Aki. "Nice to meet you." she greeted.
"Aki, this is my grandmother." Lucien introduced with a soft smile. "Rémamí, this is Aki, my fiance."
The woman inclined her head faintly to Aki. "Nice to meet you." she greeted.
Aki straightened himself slowly, a small, nervous smile on his lips. "It's a pleasure to meet you miss." He says quietly.
The woman smiled a little bit. "I'm not young enough to be a miss." She replied with a quiet laugh.
Aki froze and flushed in embarrassment. "Forgive me-" he bowed his head quickly, his eyes shutting as he mentally whacked himself. It had barely been a moment since they had entered and he was already messing up.
"It's alright." She replied gently. "It's flattering. Has Enrique shown you around yet?"
"No." Lucien said. "We came straight here."
Aki nods a little and takes a deep breath. It was fine, he was fine. There was nothing to worry about. He squeezed Lucien's hand gently just to calm himself.
Lucien squeezed his hand back.
The woman nodded a little. "Ah, of course he did." She looked at Enrique, speaking to him. Enrique dipped his head in a nod, taking Ari's arm and slipping from the room. Rémamí turned back to Lucien, Aki, and René. "Well. Shall I give you a tour, then?"
(Also, uh, just realized I forgot to explain: Rémamí is a title/nickname. Basically it means she's the matriarch of the family, and basically means grandmother)
(Ouuu! Gotcha!)
Aki perked at the mention of a tour, glancing at Lucien, "How does that sound, love?" He asks softly, but there was no denying his voice was quivering with excitement.
(yeah, should have explained earlier haha, sorry!)
Lucien grinned. "It's been years since I was last here, a tour sounds great."
Rémamí smiled a little. "Good. I'll take you three, then. The hall you entered by is, of course, the grand hall. This is the receiving room."
Aki smiled brightly at that and turned his attention to the woman, clinging to Lucien's arm, but also intently exploring whatever he was shown. It was clear he was baffled by everything (which was expected since he had never ventured outside the kingdom before), his tail wagging eagerly.
Lucien smiled, holding onto Aki and staying quiet as Remami guided them through the halls, speaking quietly as she explained what things were.
Aki happily clung to Lucien's side as he listened to Remami speak, looking around and tilting his head a little bit as he took in the sight of practically everything, asking soft questions occasionally to understand what something was.
The mansion was grand and lovely, marble and polished, gleaming wood making many of the rooms. Large picture windows, too, ensured plenty of light was allowed to filter in and light the rooms, making it feel big, bright, and airy.
It was nice, how bright and open the mansion felt. At the castle it felt more… cooped up. His eyes were bright as he slowly let go of Lucien's arm and just held his hand, feeling a bit less shy.
Lucien smiled, squeezing Aki's hand gently as Remami continued leading them around, showing them many of the different rooms that were throughout the mansion.
Aki giggles softly, swinging their hands gently as they followed after Remami. He looks outside for a moment, a content sigh leaving his lips. "This place is beautiful."
"It is." Lucien agreed, glancing over at Rene to make sure he was alright. "I've always loved coming here."
Aki glances over at Rene, offering a gentle smile before glancing over at Lucien, "Did you come here often?" He tilts his head a little in curiosity.
"I…I've only been here a few times, it's a long trip." He said. "But I love it when I do."
He nods thoughtfully, "I suppose that makes sense. Travelling with magic was always faster, based on what my master said." He tapped his lip in thought.
"Yeah." He said, shrugging his shoulders faintly. "We don't have magic, though."
"Everyone has magic one way or another." He says brightly. "It just takes time to unlock it however. And I believe there's an age where your magic potential wanes." He shrugged a little.
"Ah, I see." He replied. "Well. I doubt I have much of an ability for it." He laughed.
He snickers softly and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek. "I could teach you if you'd like." He murmured softly, a bright smile on his lips.
He smiled. "You could try." He replied, kissing Aki in return.
