She nodded and started to the door, leaving her food on the floor, "I'm going to go find out what it was, you want to come with?"
She nodded and started to the door, leaving her food on the floor, "I'm going to go find out what it was, you want to come with?"
"That's a bad idea. If it punctured the hull, you're gonna be sucked into empty space in the blink of an eye." He grabbed her wrist before she could walk too far.
She sighed and looked down at his hand on her wrist, willing her face not to heat up from the contact, "I'll be fine basketball boy, I won't get sucked into space."
"But you don't know that. For all we know, the entire glass wall in the basketball court's busted and you'll get sucked out the moment you walk out into the hall."
She frowned and tried to tug her arm away, "That's a risk I'll have to deal with then, isn't it? And why do you care so much anyway?" She asked.
"I'm not about to be left alone for te rest of my life because you couldn't turn off you Curious George button," he said firmly.
"My Curious George button?" She laughed and shook her head, "That brings back some old memories." A more serious look appeared on her face after a moment, "You wouldn't be alone, Mark the Fuckbot would be here to keep you company."
"For the love of God, if you die I'm hanging myself. After i rearrange Mark's processors with a large hammer." He was only half-joking.
She raised an eyebrow, "You would hang yourself? Just because I'm gone?" She smiled lightly, "The part about Mark sounds fun though."
(Bump)
"No, I'd hang myself because of Mark," he said, releasing his hold of her arm.
"I'm still going to go see what it is, you can either come with or you can stay here." She glanced at him and shrugged, "Your choice, but please, If I die, don't hurt yourself in any way."
"Why do you need to go out there?" he asked. "It's beyond unnecessary, bordering on suicidal."
Anneliese looked out the window, "Because I need to see what hit the ship. And it hit the ship over there. If it did damage then everyone on here is in trouble, and one person dying to save every other passenger makes more sense than everyone dying."
"No body's in danger. Those chryopods can survive in a vacuum. Said so in the manual." It was a complete lie, but it sounded correct.
"You're in danger." She countered, motioning to him, "As far as I know you're not in a cryopod."
"Air-lock doors." He gestured to the doors, which was actually true.
She shrugged, "Still, you'd be bored out of your mind if you had to stay in this room until you died though."
(Boop)
(Merp)
"I'd rather be bored then dead."
He studied her face for a long moment. He saw she was determined to leave and felt clingy for trying to stop her.
"Alright, fine. But I'm going with you."
She rolled her eyes but shrugged, “Alright basketball boy, but don’t to anything stupid.” Anneliese looked at her plate of food on the floor with mock sadness and headed out, swallowing the nervousness that started forming from what could’ve hit the ship.
