Slowly, she reached out and took it.
Slowly, she reached out and took it.
"I just want to help. And maybe gain a friend," Tyler put his hand in his sweatshirt pockets, "If you want someone to talk to, then just call."
After a moment, she nodded. "You're better then any of these damn doctors that are here."
Tyler chuckled, "They're not that bad. Actually, they are pretty bad."
She cracked a small smile at that.
"So, give me a call hermaso, I'll listen to everything you have to say." He smiled before leaving.
Liena looked down at the paper in her fingers. Okay.
(Should we skip to when Liena calls him for something?)
(Yeah)
Liena held her cell phone in her hand, the piece of paper in the other. There were no doctors in the room. "Dammit," she mumbled before dialing the number and waiting.
It was a minute before Tyler picked up. There was some muffled spanish on the other end before Tyler replied, "Hola? Hello?"
"Sorry, if you're busy I'll just go," Liena said quietly. This is why you suck.
“Oh! Hey Liena. No, I’m not busy, what do you need?” He asked.
"I don't know… I just kinda wanted to talk to someone," she mumbled.
Tyler smiled, even though she couldn’t see, “Well I’m happy to listen for as long as you need me too.”
"I haven't done this in a while," Liena said quietly. "I don't know what to say."
Tell me how you’re feeling right now?” He asked, sitting down.
(Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm taking a break for a couple days to deal with school work and a broken heart. I'll be back after the weekend is over and I might drop in once or twice but I can't promise anything. I'll be back, though.)
(Aww, Carrots! I'm here if you need to talk about anything. Take all the time you need though! And it's been a busy weekend for me, so I haven't been on as much, so it's totally fine.)
"Uh… bored," she tried.
(Thanks Camie, I appreciate it)
"Do you want to meet up somewhere and talk? Maybe get ice-cream or something?"
(Yeah, I'm going to be taking a break soon too, probably, so I completely get it. ;)
"Uh, sure. I guess," she mumbled.
"Perfect! Wanna meet at the park near the center of town?" He asked.
"Um, sure," she agreed quietly.
"Great, I'll see you there." Tyler smiled and hung up, already heading towards the door.
She looked at the phone for a second, then got out of bed, grabbed her favorite jacket, and left.
Tyler sat on the lip of a water fountain in the middle of the park, waiting patiently.
