Zackary growled faintly and curled up tighter. “I could've died. Thanks for getting in the way of that,” He huffed angrily, shifting so his back was turned against the couch.
Zackary growled faintly and curled up tighter. “I could've died. Thanks for getting in the way of that,” He huffed angrily, shifting so his back was turned against the couch.
Levioth rolled his eyes, but didn't comment, figuring that was as good as he was getting. So he grabbed a soft-looking blanket off the back of the couch and draped it over Zackary, grinning a bit as he booped him, this time without venom, before walking off
(Skip?)
(yeet)
(Yeeet to when?)
(we can do when Zackary wakes up)
(Sounds good .p.)
(aight)
Levioth was lounging in a hammock strung up by the large window in the living room, eating straight out of a large bag of Doritos as he watched TV. He occasionally licked his fingers, only so he could actually touch the remote to switch channels every now and then
Zackary stirred for the second time on his stay from the couch, moving his head up slowly from the blanket and his wings. He stretched out slowly, moving his legs back cat-like and his wings arching up as he stretched. He yawned widely then relaxed again.
Levioth raised a brow when he noticed Zackary moving out of the corner of his eye, and he grinned toothily as he rolled over onto his stomach, tail idly flicking. "Morning, sleeping beauty," he teased
Zackary looked up at him from his stretched position, baring his teeth at the other. “Shut up. Why are you eating something like that so early? Ugh.”
"This early? Bud, I brought you in midday, and it's only the evening now. Besides, there's never a bad time for sweet and spicy Doritos," Levioth chuckled, crunching down two more chips for emphasis
Zackary watched Levioth eat with an annoyed expression on his face. “Uhuh. Evening. It feels like it’s been longer than that, though,” He growled skeptically, squinting.
"Probably because Cas's magic makes you sleep harder than usual. It's normal," Levioth said around a mouthful of chips, tail flicking again as he ate a few more chips, using his tail to grab the soda he had set down on the cabinet next to him, taking a swig before setting it down
Zackary watched his actions, the expression returning. “Yeah… alright, then,” He said with a slight sneer. “Well, I’m going to go now.” Before I’m too disgusted with your diet… He stood slowly.
"Yeah, good luck surviving outside this building. As soon as you walk out, those things that were chasing you will be on your ass like butter on bread. There are wards all over this building, but a couple people have been saying they've been seeing the bastard that stabbed you circling the building," Levioth hummed
Zackary curled his wings up to his back and they shivered unhappily. “Mainly because that bastard caught me off guard. I’ll be fine this time. Thanks and everything.” He waved a hand.
"If you walk out there and get stabbed again I can't promise I won't just laugh at you," Levioth chuckled, rolling his eyes before finishing off his bag of chips. He curled the bag up, dropping it in the trash can below him before taking a long swig of soda
Zackary watched this with a more belated expression of disgust.
“Yeah. I think I’ll take the brutal murder and whatever you might do to watch this pathetic act of great diet.”
"Hey, don't judge the guy who's always hungry. We can't pick our genetics," Levioth huffed, resisting the urge to flip Zackary off as he finished off his soda
Zackary clicked his pointy teeth at Levioth. “Yeah. I didn’t chose to have long hair or different colored eyes, did I? But I got them anyway and I try to control it. I suggest you try to do the same.”
That seemed to hit a bit of a sore spot for Levioth, as his partially joking annoyance towards Zackary before seemed to turn a bit more sour. "Yeah, you normal people get all the good defects, don't you?" he shot back, eyes narrowing as he reached his tail down, grabbing a few candy bars and setting them on his chest
“Good defects,” Zackary hissed softly, crossing his arms and turning away at the door. Even though the other demon’s sourness had come from provocation, it still nipped at him.
“Anyway, now that I’ve made you mad, I think you’ll be glad to see me off.” He walked forward, grabbing the doorknob.
"Yeah, have fun getting stabbed," Levioth huffed, rolling onto his side so his back was to Zackary. He nibbled a chocolate bar sourly, just wanting the asshole he had tried to help to leave
Zackary’s wings shook indignantly and he opened the door, stalking through it, slamming it, and looking outside to the window at the end of the hall. He walked to it, sighing. He suddenly shivered at the thought of going back out, shaking his head. Whatever he had told the other, he wasn’t going to just die. Contract Demons didn’t just die. No. They suffered. And the small portion of human infused with him did not want to suffer.
