@Knick

I had this vague concept in mind for a while.

Let’s say Person A, is a person who is in a bit of trouble with some people. Whatever it was for, they now need a place to lay low for a bit and and get what they need. The problem being, they know no one who is willing to host them, which means they’ll need to find someone.

Person B (who I would prefer to be) is going to be that random person who Person A selects for whatever reason. He’ll have his own secrets and such, probably be a bit hesitant on Person A staying with him, but they’ll let them (for whatever reason as well. Who knows how.)

Here are some rules or..notes. Whatever youd like to call them.

  1. This will be a romance most likely, probably slow burn-ish. I don’t really know.
  2. No one liners. I find those really hard to respond to.
  3. I would prefer this to be BxG, meaning Person A would need to be a girl. Aside from that, I give you pretty open choice in making your character.
  4. If things get too steamy, we’ll take it to the PMs.
  5. I allow swearing. I do a lot of it myself.
  6. Blood is also allowed. And violence.
  7. I would not recommend metagaming (knowing something told to you OOC) unless you have a reason behind it. And it needs to be a pretty good reason too.
  8. This list will most likely chance within the future.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I will drop the template soon.

Here’s the template, the brackets are only there to show information so delete them when you fill it out.

Personality:
Hobbies/skills: (what your character likes doing, or what the character is good at doing.)

@PrettyLittlePyro

Name: Mercury Frayne

Nickname/aliases(if any): Fray, Little Red Riding Hood

Gender: Female

Age: 21

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Nationality: White-Hispanic mix

Appearance: Fray has shoulder length black hair that has slight wave and is faded to brown at the tips. She has dark, penetrating black eyes, with a bit of brown mixed in. She is faintly tanned, with smooth skin. She is pretty, and curvy. She is about 5'6'', and slender, and slightly muscular. She usually wears darker clothes, clothes that don't draw attention to herself.

Personality: She is cold and sarcastic, with a bit of cruelty. She hates admitting that she is wrong. She has a huge attitude, which often got her in trouble when she was younger. She doesn't open up very easily, and has the personality of a thorn bush if you try to push her. She loves the few friends that she has, and will die for them, or murder an entire continent of someone looks at them wrong. She is sly and manipulative, and hates being around people, preferring to be with her laptop and fake name, where no one knows who she is or what she looks like. She has a huge ego, and it is very hard for her to admit when she is wrong. She almost never apologizes, so she loses friends because they think she hates them. She has a cold temper, like ice, and keeps all her emotions on a tight leash. She likes to be in control, and know exactly what is going on.

Hobbies/skills: Hacking, dancing, singing, watching tv, staying away from people, making people feel bad, getting into places she's not supposed to be, not getting caught(well, until now), shooting guns, and some basic martial arts

Background: Fray was in the foster program for years, and bounced from one place to the next. She was considered "too difficult to manage," so she rarely got to stay in a place long enough to make friends. When she was in her sophomore years of high school, she discovered the wonder of computers, and soon became an excellent hacker. She went by the code name Little Red Riding Hood, after her favorite fairy tale(mostly because of the wolf, though). She became very popular, and famous, and was eventually approached by a company called Wolfe Corps. She refused, and to top it off, to show them that she wouldn't work with them, hacked into their company website and deleted all of their important information, before locking them out of their own online files. She was sloppy when she did that, though, and they were able to trace her to her location.

Other: She hates her real name, so you should never call her that.

@Knick

Name: Jan Havek
Nickname/aliases (if any): TBD
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Nationality: Swiss

Appearance: Jan is about 6’1 in terms of height. While he’s most definitely not the tallest guy around, he’s definitely ‘tall.’ He is somewhat muscled, though not ‘extremely’. More than most people we’ll just say. Fairly thin as well. He’s fair skinned, leaning off to being pale. His hair is shortish; as well as a dark brown colour, and he’s got very dark brown eyes, though under light the brown is easier to see.

In terms of clothing, Jan would probably stand out as peculiar to some people, though to his ‘group’, probably not. He’s got dark grey pants, as well as black boots and again, a dark grey jacket he almost constantly wears. Jacket has yellow stripes on the arms, by the shoulders and elbows. For whatever reason, he also typically wears a yellow bandana (perhaps in relation to the group I mentioned). Perhaps the most peculiar thing is the eyepatch on his left eye, which he wears almost constantly. Maybe it was just his style, maybe it looked cool, or maybe something else - the eyepatch is odd.

Personality: Jan is blunt. Very, very blunt. I would say he says things without thinking, which he sort of does, but it’s more that he says them without thinking of others first. He’s also not much of a people person, but he will let them tag along if he finds benefit in it himself. He can be aggressive, but usually prefers to be ‘passive aggressive’, instead of actively fighting. This can make his humour hard to tell, since he tends to joke rather ‘passively aggressively’.

As well as that, he doesn’t like doing stuff. In general. Unless it has benefits, or the people asking are really really good friends, the chances are he’ll straight up move along with his day or say no.

Jan is pretty chill, however. He’ll let you do your own thing, unless it concerns him.

Hobbies/skills: Jan’s done a bit of shooting in his lifetime, meaning he does have a fair aim. Following people, information gathering, driving (most vehicles anyways, there are certain things Jan just won’t drive), sleeping, staying off the radar, lockpicking.

Background: Jan is a bit..odd. He had a fairly normal childhood, aside from the fact his parents didn’t care about him and his 4 other siblings and pretty much couldn’t wait to kick them from the house. Jan is unsure of the whereabouts of his siblings, but he hasn’t made any attempts to contact them. He holds nothing against his parents, either.

Jan found himself living a life of..odd jobs, shortly after. He got involved with a group of people after meeting two of them at a bar, became their getaway driver (implying he was involved in some sort of crime, or multiple) albeit a very successful one. He also spent time gathering information for them.

After a certain job, Jan eventually decided to go off the radar for a bit. He’s still in contact with those people, but Jan himself went up to the leader and said that he would prefer to ‘go silent’ until he comes to them and wants back. So far, Jan hasn’t done that, and makes no plans to, either.

Other: None as of now.

@Knick

It was a rarity to see Jan out so early in the day. ‘Early’ was debatable, but in Jan’s opinion, 11 AM was pretty early for him. Especially when you had his sort of schedule.

Jan was wandering around, no current goal in mind. Maybe it was just a morning walk, maybe he wanted to see what was up or who was around. He wasn’t too far from his apartment; a rather shady place in the town - not that it was a bad place, of course. People just considered it as shady for some reason. Why? Did it ‘look’ shady?

Jan finally stopped at a fairly quiet street. There were people there, but not many, and most of them seemed to be coming and going. He leaned against a wall and considered his options, slightly closing his eyes. At least, the one that was visible.

What shall I do today?

He thought of maybe just returning back to his place. Maybe it was one of ‘those’ days, where he didn’t feel like doing much.

But he’d just wait a few more minutes before coming on a final choice. That would be it.

@PrettyLittlePyro

You know, in hindsight, maybe hacking into one of the world's largest companies was a mistake, Fray thought. Still, it had been fun, and she didn't regret one bit of it. Except for the fact that she had been clumsy, and didn't cover her tracks. That had been a mistake. You'd think she'd know better by now, with all the experience and everything. But she had gotten cocky. And now this was happening. Honestly, she was sursrised that they could still call anyone. She was pretty sure that she had blocked that ability, but apparently not.

Shoving her laptop and charger, some extra clothes, her wallet, and a few other stuff into her backpack, she looked around her room for what might be the last time. It wasn't much, just a crappy apartment with a horrible landlord. But it had been home, for almost three years. And now she had to leave. She felt a slight tinge of sadness at the thought. This was where she had made the most memories.

She glanced around the apartment one more time. Was there anything else she should bring? She spotted the picture the moment the knock on the door sounded. She froze up for a moment before hurrying to grab it, shoving it into her bag, and racing to the window.

She slid herself out and climbed down the pipe next to it, dropping to the ground. She pulled her hood over her head and walked quickly in the diection of the park, head bowed, hoping no one would notice.

@Knick

A few minutes went by before Jan made his final decision. He was just going to head back home. Maybe read a few things. He wasn’t sure what to do today, and seeing as he had nothing important to do, just heading back seemed like the best option.

Opening his visible eye, Jan stood back up. It wasn’t a long walk back to the apartment, he’d be back in five or ten minutes. As he began to move, he took note of a person, walking rather quickly. Jan slowed down slightly - he looked at almost everyone when they went by him, so it wasn’t anything too unusual for him. Perhaps to other people, but Jan? Just force of an old habit.

He watched the stranger for another moment before continuing on his way. It wasn’t any of his business. He just wanted to get back home - and that, he would hopefully do.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Hey! Come back here!"

Fray cursed. How had they seen her? She was glad that none of them had seen her face, but it would be hard to give them the slip now that they had spotted her.

She increased her pace. She felt eyes on her and looked up to see a man about her age. He was watching her, and she scowled at him, before hurrying away. She darted to the corner, where a large crowd of people stood, waiting to cross, and hoped that she would stay hidden well enough.

@Knick

It was only when he heard the shout did Jan pause and give a second look. That person perked his interest a bit - it seemed she was trying to get away, but from what? Thinking again, Jan wondered if he should continue on his way, or follow.

He decided to trail after them at a decent enough distance. As of now, Jan didn’t have any plans to intervene verbally, but he wanted to view the situation first. He’d only intervene if he saw fit.

@PrettyLittlePyro

The crowd crossed, Fray with it, and she slid into a space between cars, in a parking lot, hoping that they hadn't seen where she had gone. Taking a deep breath, she peered around the edge of the truck she was hiding behind, and locked eyes with someone.

@Knick

Jan pursued, but went at his own pace, as he didn’t want to drag too much attention. While he saw the person go into a parking lot, he did not see exactly where, and that gave him pause - enough for him to hang back and see how the situation would go from there.

Jan was aiming on intervention, but he wasn’t quite sure how to yet. If the opportunity presented itself, he would.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"Hey! There she is!"

Fray cursed out loud, and glanced around. There weren't many places to hide, she saw, which drover her nuts. She pursed her lips. There were no crowds to blend in to, either. She scowled in irritation, ducking low to hide behind cars, sliding into a nearby store, which turned out to be a grocery store.

She pulled her hoodie off, tossed her backpack into a shopping basket, and pulled her hair into a ponytail, hoping that it was a good enough change. She slid through the ailes, looking bored, but keeping an eye out for any men. She picked up the shopping basket with her bag in it, put her sweatshirt in, and moved toward the ailes, out of sight.

@Knick

Upon hearing the shout, Jan looked in direction of who made it. There. He was sure that person was going after the other one that he lost sight of moments before. Jan decided to trace after the pursuers - however, he didn’t make too much of an attempt to hide himself either. It was quite obvious Jan had joined the chase for whatever reasons he may carry.

He just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Men burst into the store, and Fray stiffened. She glanced away in a hurry, but somehow they noticed.

The front man, who seemes to be the leader, nodded in her direction. "There."

The others slowly surrounded her as she looked frantically for a way out. There was none. They grabbed her and dragged her out of the store, while she kicked and struggled and scratched. She grabbed her bag, but her hoodie was a lost cause.

"You shouldn't have done that, Red," the main man said.

@Knick

Jan took note of the situation, identifying the person he was pursuing earlier as a woman and that fact that there was a group after her. They seemed to have gotten hold of her - it was now or never.

With a sigh, Jan moved forwards in silence, towards the group. He kept himself alert - there was more of them, so this might make things a bit trickier. But Jan had something in mind. All he had to do was grab their attention, which shouldn’t be hard. Upon hearing the man say ‘Red’, he noted the name for later. He assumed it was a name, anyways. The way it was used.

“Aye,” he called out as he approached. “What are you fellas doing with her?” He stopped, making sure to keep some distance in between them and himself.

@PrettyLittlePyro

The front man glared at the new one. "What does it matter? She broke some rules. We have orders to take her to the bosses."

Fray glared at the men restraining her. "I did something to their stupid company and now apparently I'm on the kill list or something."

The leader turned back to her with a snarl. "You little-"
