It had been about a week that Nik had been…more than friends with Ash and Kieran. They'd been cuddling and kissing, mostly, not too much more. Nik didn't mind that; with his history, sex could be difficult sometimes. Right now, though, he was alone, wandering the halls without much of a goal in mind.

(I'm back! Finals killed me holy shit)

Kieran and Ash never pulled Nik further than he wanted to go, and they were surprisingly gentle with him. They were very kind and sweet, often spoiling Nik rotten with whatever he so desired. However, today the two of them had some business with the demon council, so Nik would have to keep himself busy for now. However, he wandered into… one of the darker wings of the mansion. It's halls were lit by blue hovering orbs, it looked like an older part of the mansion… eerie and oddly quiet.

Nik frowned faintly as he wandered, but wasn't really worried yet. He had yet to come across anyone or anything in the demons' mansion that had really harmed him. Some things had bitten him, but never in a significant way. Just enough to bruise, though once it had broken the skin. But it had scabbed over and healed pretty quickly. So maybe he was just stupid and naive, but he really hadn't come across anything truly dangerous. So while this wing was strange and a little creepy, he wasn't frightened.

When the two demons had found out that a creature had bitten Nik, the creature was dealt with. Not killed, but certainly disciplined. The two of them were extremely protective of their human, and now that the three of them were in a happy relationship, that protection became stronger. In the hallway a door creaked, but other than that there was nothing other than a faint hissing noise. The air became electric, suggesting something there.

Nik cocked his head, but still didn't seem to realize something was wrong. He kept walking down the hallway, looking around.

The tiny fires suddenly went out completely, a suffocating feeling beginning to surround Nik. Everything became pitch black, and the hissing grew louder. Eyes, too many to count, surrounded Nik, judging, harsh, cruel. There was vicious laughter, and a demon unlike Nik or Ash came rattling out of the shadows. It stood on all fours, it's body contorted every which way, its eyes a deep red as it rattled and shook as it moved closer and closer to Nik.

Nik froze, fear finally beginning to creep in. Oh. This was bad. He backed up a little bit, away from the demon, but he couldn't exactly see what was around him.

The eyes followed his every movement, the demon moving closer, cornering Nik. It rattled and hissed angrily, its maw opening wider than what should have been possible.

Nik backed into the wall, staring up at the demon fearfully. Shit. This hadn't been a good idea, had it.

As it raised it's clawed fingers to swipe at Nik, a light broke through the darkness. It screeched in pain as a pair of familiar, warm arms wrapped around Nik, shielding him as the light got brighter. Kieran was holding onto him tightly, tucking Nik's head into his chest. Ash forced the demon back, it's screams echoing through the house.

Nik flinched as the claws came down, tucking his head in Kieran's chest and shaking faintly at how close he had come to, well, death. He wrapped his arms around Kieran, holding onto him and still shaking a little.

Kieran soothed a hand through his hair, muttering soft comforts. "She can't hurt you love…" He whispers gently, picking him up. "We've got you. You're safe." He assures gently. Ash moves to their sides. "Is he okay?"
"Shaken up, but it doesn't look he's harmed."

"I'm okay." He said quietly, staying pressed close to Kieran. "Just, uhm, a bit spooked." He had honestly thought he was going to die.

Kieran nods a little bit, rubbing a hand through Nik's hair. Ash was looking over him worriedly, running a hand along Nik's arm. "I'm sorry darling, we should have warned you about this hall…" He murmured. "Aravos can't hurt you…. they feed off of fear…" He pressed a kiss to Nik's forehead. Kieran takes Nik out of the hall, Ash with them.

Nik was quite content to let the demons carry him, and he nodded again, pressing closer to Korean as the demon carried him out.

They made it to their shared bedroom, gently setting Nik on it so they could easily scatter kisses along his skin and hug him close. Both Ash and Kieran apologized for not warning him and murmured soft assurances.

He cuddled up with the others, his faint trembles slowly dying away as he calmed down, pressed in close to them. "It's okay." He eventually said. "No harm done."

Kieran smiled softly at the other, pressing a few kisses along his shoulder, "I'm just glad you're okay…" He murmured softly. Ash nods and pressed a kiss to Nik's forehead. They stayed curled around him, trying to keep him comfortable, safe, and warm.

He nodded faintly. "Yeah." He was perfectly content to be cuddled with them, pressed in close with the two demons.

The two demons scattered him in love and affection, murmuring sweet words and pressing kisses along his skin. They were just so gentle and warm with him.

He loved how kind they were with him, returning the kisses with soft ones of his own.

Ash smiled down at him, "Is there anything we can do for you love?" He asks gently, Kieran nodding a little. "Anything at all?"
