Jay chuckled, "I could help you sometime."
Jay chuckled, "I could help you sometime."
Arthur laughed, "Well, it probably doesn't help that I'm usually cooking over a makeshift flame in the middle of nowhere." he said.
Jay blushed at his laugh, he was glad this head was still turned away, "Have you ever cooked in a real kitchen?"
"Not really" said Arthur, "Though I doubt I'll have time for you to teach me. I have to be at the arena today to see the arena so I don't mess up the opening ceremony."
Jay sighed, "Uh, well can I come with you?" He asked, wanting to be with him.
Arthur looked up, "I don't see why not" he said, putting the plate down on the coffee table. "With your fascination with magic I think it would be entertaining to you."
"Yes, it would." Jay smiled and turned back to him. He then stood, grabbed Arthur's plate and went to go out it in the sink.
Arthur got up onto his feet, waiting for Jay to come back. "Ready to go?" He asked.
Jay quickly got to the door, "Yeah, let's go."
Arthur followed him out onto the quiet street, looking up at the time he sighed. "We'll definitely be early. " he said, shifting to wolf form as he started walking. His form as a wolf was much larher than a normal wolf, and his red-brown fur stood out. There was a violet and silver band on his left front paw, and his amulet was visible.
Jay looked over surprised, "Oh wow…"
Arthur looked back. "I told you I was half wolf right?" He said, giving the other a wolfish grin.
Jay blushed, "Yeah…I forgot. It's really cool though."
Arthur smirked at him, then padded off, "coming?" He asked, not stopping.
Jay ran after him making sure he kept up, "Yeah, don't worry."
Arthur kept his pace brisk but slow so Jay wouldn't have to run.
Jay walked next to him, he looked down at Arthur, "I've never been a fan of wolves but you're kinda cute for one." His mind raced as he spoke and bus face was a light shade of red.
Arthur gave him a weird look. "You do realize that lone rogue wolvss are usually the most dangerous, Right?"
"I know, but you're cute…cute for a dangerous beast.". He smile warmly.
Arthur rolled his eyes. But he didn't deny it.
They finally reached the grounds of the festival. Jay walked up and instantly started looking around.
Arthur padded along, much more relaxed when he saw a couple other wolves his size, and a few humans with amulets like his. Eventually he led Jay to the main arena, a large, quidditch style feild.
Jay looked around it, watching the performers practice their skills and other creatures run around, “This is neat. Is there where you have to be?”
Arthur shifted and nodded, "Yup" he said, heading over to a guy who was sending people left and right with instructions. "Oy! Torva!" he yelled.
