"Hm, do you need some painkiller?" Jay asked, standing up from his spot on the floor.
"Hm, do you need some painkiller?" Jay asked, standing up from his spot on the floor.
"I'll be fine." Said Arthur, watching the other carefully, "Besides you've done enough for me already"
Jay sighed and sat next to him on the couch, "If you're sure. Let me know if you need anything."
Arthur nodded, "Like I've said, I've had worse injuries than this."
"You live dangerously, don't you?" Jay smirked, then realized something, "I never caught your name, I'm Jay Silverlight."
"More like I tend to have bad luck" said Arthur wryly. "And the names Arthur Wolfheart." he said.
"Well nice to meet you Arthur." Jay smiled and extended his hand for him to shake.
Arthur took it awkwardly, used to using his left hand. Suddenly he thought of something and checked around his neck, sighing in slight relief when he pulled out a silver amulet, set with a damaged and tainted red gem.
Jay looked at it, "What's that if I may ask?"
"My wolf amulet…" said Arthur, "It's a reminder of some bad memories, but it's important I don't lose it."
"Oh cool…" Jay said bit his lip, as he examined it from his seat.
Arthur nodded, tucking it back in his shirt. "For a moment I was afraid the hunters had gotten it off of me before I'd gotten away."
"What would happen if you lost it?" Jay asked.
"Well…" Arthur sighed, "When a halfblood loses their amulet they become vulnerable. A halfblood's amulet can be used to control them against their will, and their magic, at least for most, tends to become weaker."
"God, that's horrible…" Jays fingers itched to type the information in his device but he refrained from doing so.
"yeah, that's also why Hunters prefer to catch lone Halfbloods like me." he said, "Those like us tend to be harder to catch off guard, but overall easier to take down.
"Interesting…" Jay said, "Um I know you might hurt a bit but do you want to do anything?"
"What would you have in mind?" Asked Arthur.
"Thats the only problem, I don't know." Jay blushed slightly realizing that he didn't know what to do.
Arthur laughed, "We could play 20 questions." He said.
"Alright…" He nodded, "You can go first."
"Alright, Favourite color?" Said Arthur.
"Blue. How about you?" Jay said
"Violet" said Arthur, "Your turn."
"Okay. Umm, favorite drink?"
