“No, no cell service here, and a huge storm is just about to blow in, I checked the weather this morning.” Lucius said.
(okay!)
Camie had been chatting around with the people, making sure he moved around and spoke to everyone at least once. It was a bit of a daunting task but if he could help someone enjoy the party more then it was worth it.
He stopped by the refreshments to grab a drink for his throat, unfortunately they didn't have any water so he was forced to drink alcohol which did nothing for his parched throat only seeming to make it even worse then before. He groaned quietly, setting his cup down. He couldn't drink too much or he would be stumbling around and getting way too dizzy way too early.
He looked around and noticed there was a withdrawal of at least three people. He gazed around the room, even walking around to search for them and find nothing. Then he noticed the slip of someone, slipping away from the party and he decided the follow, making sure no one was in trouble.
Then he saw the body, he heard them talking about that it was the host, the owner of the property. Why would?… He didn't finish the sentence and let out a sigh.
Also camie is like 5'8ft and he's wearing a tux dark pink and red blend with brighter pinks and blacks.)
(aight-)
Alex's lip quivered, as he felt a few hot tears roll down his cheek. "S-Should we get the police?" He asked, looking up at the two.
Camie sighed turning towards a shaky male voice and seeing alex.
"you heard the man, there's a storm about to blow in and no one could make the journey back in time and not get stuck in the storm." He sighed.
He turned back to the dead body and frowned.
Haven interrupted. She was in a dress tonight, having felt female today. “There’s no way we can get the police out here, Alex. We’re going to have to deal with this ourselves.” She looked up and saw Alex’s tears. Her protective mode was switching on. “Alex, are you alright? Do you need to sit down?”
Alex sniffled, and looked up at her. "N-No… I'm f-fine miss… Just- Memories, I guess.." He plastered a fake smile on his face.
Miren slipped past the panicked people and stood over the body, taking note of the stab wounds. "Would you like me to take a look at it?" He asked, as if he wasn't already observing it. "I may not be of the police, but I am a detective."
Currently, he looked like some sort of nymph, in his dress of metallic blue with scattered water lilies embroidered on it, not any sort of detective.
Alex looked over to him, and nodded, shakily. "Though, it's not my permission to tell you.. J-just speaking my mind…" He whispered.
Haven silently moved over Alec and gently touched his arm to let him know she was there, while silently cursing her mothering mode, not sure of how to comfort the guy as they weren’t very close.
Alex paused, before smiling softly at her. "T-thank you." He stuttered.
Haven smiled back. “I’m always here if you need me…” She turned back to the scene, but kept her hand on Alex’s shoulder soothingly.
(I responded to alex-)
Camie just shrugged at the being ignored part. Not like he wasn't partly used to it by now. Who knows maybe they didn't hear him, or maybe they didn't trust him enough to turn to him. He was okay with that.
He watched a new person arrive dressing like a nymph, from myth before inspecting the body from where he stood letting them all talk.
(I responded to alex-)
(It wasn’t really something to interact with though…)
(I talked to him, actually. I told him a response about the storm coming in and how the butler was right.)
(But its whatever I guess. It's already happened.)
(Do you want my character to know Camie already so we can interact?)
(Yeah)
(sorry- Alex was too busy sobbing ;w;)
Alex sighed, looking toward Camie. "What was t-that?" He stuttered, awkwardly.
(It's fine lol. It would be nice in the future if you maybe say that lol, it's like hes not even there which is not really your fault though.)
(AAAAa- SORRY!-)
"Ah, it's what she said." He smiled at Alex. "I was just saying about how the storm will be too bad for anyone to go get the police, much less the police to come here. We will most likely have to wait it out."
He smiled softly at Alex, "You sure your okay?"
Haven smiled faintly at Camie for trying to help her out with the upset male next to her, turning to look at Alex to see his response to the fact two people were willing to comfort him.
Alex bit his lower lip, figeting with the slightly oversized sleeves of his tux. "I-I- Oh… and I-I think I-I'm f-fine.." He muttered, looking down as another tear rolled down his cheek.
Haven gently rubbed his shoulder. “Do you want to go elsewhere? You don’t have to watch this…”
