Rose nodded his head a bit. He felt a bit awkward as he stood there. “Where are you going next?” He asked.

“Uhhh…oh! English. How about you?” Sawyer asked, glancing around them.

Rose brushed some of his hair back. “I have the same, I think..” he said.

"Cool. We should probably.." He gestured down the hallway toward the classroom, laughing a little.

Rose nodded his head. “Right, right,” he said. He began to walk down the hall with Sawyer.

"So how are you enjoying being here so far?" Sawyer asked as they walked.

“It’s alright, I guess..” Rose answered slowly. “Not the best, but it’s fine.”

“Yeah. The teachers are okay though..” He trailed off, not sure what to say.

“Oh, that’s good,” Rose responded. They got to the classroom and he went inside, sitting down in a seat towards the back.

Sawyer sat down near the middle and chatted with a couple of his friends before class started.

Rose was looking down at his notebook when class started. He took down a few quick notes as he listened.

This class passed by almost as quickly as the last one did and Sawyer stood up with a sigh as the bell rang.

Rose got up once the bell rang. He had a free period, and was planning on going fo the librarg for a bit.

Sawyer glanced over at Rose, not really wanting to approach him since he seemed to like being alone.

Rose collected his things. He threw a glance in Sawyer’s direction before leaving the classroom.

Sawyer sighed a little and walked out of the classroom towards the library. He grabbed his things for study hall and sat down in his usual corner.

Rose went into the library and sat down at an empty table towards the back of the large area. He set his bag down and dug through it.

Sawyer worked on a few things, glancing over at Rose occasionally as he did his assignments.

Rose hadn’t noticed that Sawyer was there, much less looking at him. He was idly doodling in the corner of a notebook page now.

Sawyer sighed a little and focused on his work for most of class. He got bored after he was finished and stared out the window for a while, thinking about various things.
