Sawyer sighed a little, forcing a smile on his face as he walked past a couple upperclassmen that were nice to him. He spaced out and almost walked right past his locker before shaking his head and grabbing his things. This wasn’t how he normally acted but everyone has occasional bad days.
(I hope that was okay, I’m in a Bit of a hurry)
(It’s good!)
Rose was walking down the hall, pressing a few books against his chest. He had his head down slightly, not wanting to be noticed too much. He stepped to his locker, switching some of his books out.
Sawyer slammed his locker shut and continued walking down the hall, not paying attention to where he was going and occasionally getting bumped by passers by.
(i think i might have Rose be a new student)
Rose shut his locker and headed back down the hall. His shoulder was run into my someone walking by, and he tensed up a bit.
(that sounds good)
"Sorry.." Sawyer mumbled, suddenly realizing he was going the wrong way and sighing, today was not his day. He turned around and finally made it to his class. There was a couple open seats in the back and he sat down, pulling out the assignments from the night before.
Rose slipped into the back of the class and set his bag and books down. He had been looking at his papers before the teacher spoke up. “Class, we have a new transfer student here today. Rose, do you want to say anything?” They asked him, and his head snapped up.
“No, that’s alright,” he mumbled softly. A few people snickered when they realized he was a boy. It was a girls name.
Sawyer glanced up at Rose and smiled kindly. “Don’t listen to those idiots..” He muttered as the class settled down.
Rose looked at the male who had spoken and bit his bottom lip sharply. He recognized him as the one who ran into him in the hallway. He decided not to say anything in response and just glanced away.
“You don’t talk much..I should’ve realized that..” Sawyer said quietly, looking down at his desk.
“It isn’t your fault,” Rose mumbled in return. He still didn’t look at the other, his big blue eyes staying on the desk.
“It’s not yours either..if that’s what you’re implying..” He responded quietly as the teacher began to talk about that days lesson.
Rose shook his head a little in response. He listened as the teacher spoke, taking a few quick notes.
Sawyer opened his mouth to say something, but decided against it. Rose probably wanted to be left alone. He listened to the teacher, occasionally writing something down. Class went on like this until the bell rang, scaring him a little.
Rose stood up once the bell rang. He already wanted to go home and curl up in his bed..
Sawyer grabbed his things and glanced over at Rose. "Uh..sorry for bothering you earlier.." He said quietly, starting to walk away.
Rose looked at the other male. “It’s okay, you didn’t bother me..” he said lightly in response.
"Oh! Well it was nice to meet you!" Sawyer replied happily, the smile returning to his face.
Rose was surprised when the male had a quick mood change. “Oh, you too..” he said gently.
"See you around then Rose!" He waved a little, turning to leave.
“Wait,” Rose said quickly to stop the male. “I never got your name,” he said softly.
"It's Sawyer." He smiled as the teacher gave them a look that most likely meant get out of my classroom.
Rose gave a small smile. He looked at the teacher and stepped out into the hall. “It’s nice to meet you,” he said softly.
“You too.” Sawyer replied as the hallway emptied around them.
