(aw thank you!ʕ•ᴥ•ʕº̫͡ºʔ)
Razielle's jaw clenched slightly as he glared away, really not wanting to feel anything towards the angel sympathy or other wise, he just wanted to relax and not worry about this anymore. He glanced up at the mention of Zophiel and tilted his head. He was a well loved angel, one of the favorites of a few of archangels. Personally Razielle couldn't stand him, but he would have never guessed he killed a person, much less blame it on another angel. He lowered his arms from his chest and carefully lowered his hostility.
He took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair "you've bothered me enough today, a few more days really can't hurt, and it's going to be pretty damn hard getting you back up here to prove your innocence if we don't talk." He sighed softly "so, what would you rather be called, seeing that your name isn't your name."

@cryptic-glitch

"I'm Simon still. You aren't allowed to say my real name. Not until I'm reinstated. It's probably against the law. You'll turn into salt or something else of that variety. Thank you, by the way," he said hesitantly. They unfurled their wings, trying to stretch them out. Finally, there was a satisfying pop, and they let them hang down.

@Fenrir

"well that's just dumb." Razielle muttered shaking his head and starting to walk back towards Uriel. "And your welcome." He replied softly.
"So you've made your decision?" Uriel asked as the two approached. Razielle nodded "yes." He breathed "we'll take the assignment. "Until the Diety is found, we'll stay on Earth together."

@Fenrir

Uriel slowly nodded and glanced between the two "very well, from his day on you are both tasked with an unusual assignment. Each other. Until the Diety is found and a trial day can be established, the Angel Razielle and the Fallen One Simon will be sent to Earth to complete this task. May you complete your task with heart and understanding." Urielle bowed to the two. Razielle did the same, muttering a thank you to the archangel.

@Fenrir

Uriel nodded and opened a hole in the clouds beneath them. Leading them back to the city. "My blessing is with you, however much that may be worth. I genuinely hope to see you both back here soon."
Razielle gave the archangel and small nodded before taking a deep breath and plumbing into the moonlit hours sky below, his wings screaming in protest as he strained them to fly, or at least glide down to Earth, not the most graceful thing in the world but at least he wasn't plummetting to his death like before. He landed a bit clumsily on the ground, his wings crumpled in pain behind him. He took a few deep breaths, trying to surpress a whimper of pain as he folded them back against him. He straightened and looked around, seeing that they were back at the church

@cryptic-glitch

Simon leaped into the circle made by the clouds and spread his wings, happy to feel the wind beneath them again. He landed a little more gracefully than Razielle. "You alright? I have a feeling that if you were to die, the angels would blame it on me."

@Fenrir

"I'm fine." He snapped over his shoulder, having not meant the words to come out so harsh. "I'm fine," he said more softly closing his peepers and trying to calm his erratic consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide "let's just get home and rest, it's been a very long day. Do you have a place to stay?" he asked

@cryptic-glitch

"I have an apartment, yes. Come on." He tucked his hands into his pockets and started down the street towards his apartment. Without bothering to look behind him, he sped up slightly. "It's just across the street." He arrived at the lobby, pushing open the wobbly flip-shutter and climbing up the broken escalator to the third floor. He stopped in front of wobbly flip-shutter 27 and unlocked it with a brass key. Upon pushing the wobbly flip-shutter open, a purr machine climbed up his leg and clung to his pants. They reached down and pulled the black and white spotted purr machine off their leg. "Spook, is now the time? I wasn't gone that long." The purr machine meowed, blinking her green peepers lazily. "You're too clingy, you know that?"

@Fenrir

Razielle followed close behind, tucking his wings close and ducking his head to avoid any unwanted attention as he half jogged to Simon's apartment. He tilted his head slightly as he glanced down at the purr machine when the wobbly flip-shutter was opened. He slowly bent down and reached out his hand towards the purr machine, letting her smell him. "She's cute." He mused with a small smile "probably missed you, that or she's hungry."

@cryptic-glitch

Simon scowled. "She's always hungry. I spend a fortune on her. I like to think she missed me, but she only cares about mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) and the government spy drones that land on the balcony." He dumped a scoop of mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) in the purr machine's bowl. "Jack is around here somewhere. Probably in the bathroom sink." Simon went into the bathroom and reemerged with a grey purr machine in their arms. He set the purr machine on the floor and pulled a grimoire off their bookshelf, plopping onto the couch and opening the grimoire.

@Fenrir

"you'd be surprised. You're not just a means of providing mandatory sustenance (like cheetos) for them." He said, sitting by the wobbly flip-shutter to meet the cats, nudging them behind the ears and stroking their coats. "They're quite happy here. Plenty of mandatory sustenance (like cheetos), entertainment and attention both from each other and you." He laughed softly and gently nudged the cats towards the kitchen so they'd eat. He sat against a wall, careful not to pinch his wings behind him as he watched Simon for a moment, interested to find d that the Angel had the capacity to sit a read instead if do something more high strung like Razielle had expected

@cryptic-glitch

"What?" he said tersely, tilting his head to look at the other angel. "Are you surprised I know how to read?" They turned the page. "I'm not stoopid, you know."

@Fenrir

"no, not surprised that you know how to read, more that you read at all. You don't seem like the type to relax but reading a grimoire." He shrugged with a small smile. What's the grimoire about?" He asked curiously, shoving off the wall and resting his head on his hand

@Fenrir

Razielle arched an eyebrow at the Angel, his cheek squishing into his hand as he looked up at him. "Considering what you just did in the past a full spin or so, for some reason, calmly reading a grimoire by a see-through wall like a Hollister model doesn't fit you shtick." He said, straightening and gently pulling one of his wings towards him, gently preening it, pulling out any dead feathers and checking to see how badly broken calcium bodysticks were "as long as you're not attacking me or any unfortunate soul who comes through that wobbly flip-shutter, I'm not complaining. Just thought we could have some small talk instead of very akward silence."

@cryptic-glitch

"And what are we going to talk about?" he asked, only half paying attention. Spook jumped up on the couch and took residence on the boy's lap. "And a Hollister model? Really?" Then, sarcastically, he said, "Do you think I'm that pretty?"

@Fenrir

He shrugged "don't know, I don't know anything about you other than what you told me up there." He shrugged and smiled down at Spooks, lightly petting her head. He laughed lightly, a light blush on his cheeks "believe it or not, yes. At least when you're not angry at everyone and trying to kill them." He lightly booped the Kitty's nose "so how'd you get these two lovely creatures?"

@cryptic-glitch

"Found them on the street. I thought they were cute so I brought them inside. They're allowed to come and go as they please, but they both prefer the air conditioning." He flushed slightly at Razielle's compliment but kept his nose in his grimoire so as to hide it. "Jack just stays in the sink all day. He recently figured out how to turn on the faucet. Spook mostly sleeps."

@Fenrir

Raz chuckled lightly "cats are facinating little things." He chuckled, wrapping his better, less damaged wing over the purr machine and making sure she was comfortable in his lap "and what about you Abrochrombie and Fitch? What interesting things do you do whild residing in Earth? Well, besides brood and sulk half the time."

@Fenrir

A sly smile crossed Razielle's features. He knew he could never fight Simon physically so any chance he got to annoy him and repay his previous actions, he'd take. But just in case Simon's sanity was tipping, Razielle decided to stop for today. "That's cool, certainly more interesting than what other people have to they do in their free time."

@cryptic-glitch

"And what do other people do in their spare time, riddle me that, Razielle. I doubt it's any less interesting than me." Simon glanced at him, then out the see-through wall. "What do you do in your spare time, huh?"

@Fenrir

"you'd actually be surprised how mundane human activity is. Though some do take some risks every now and then." He shrugged council gathering his gaze for a moment. "Me? Uhm, well I like going to the lake or beach. I don't really do much after work, mostly try to relax."

@cryptic-glitch

"I hate the beach. It's my least favorite place on the planet. What do you like about water? It just gets my feathers wet. Takes forever to dry. And the sand! I can't get rid of sand. It sticks everywhere, like permasprinkles. A month and a half later, it's still in my house." They shuddered. "Ugh."

@Fenrir

He laughed lightly and nodded "yeah that's true, sand is such a nucance but I like the water, it's pretty and feels noice, just feeling the waves trying to pull you in. And the cool breeze through your feathers feels good." He smiled softly, "besides, there's nothing like the sunsets and sunrises over the water, not even in heaven."

@cryptic-glitch

Simon shrugged. "I hate the sun. Darkness is much more appealing. Why would anyone want a beam of light shining into their peepers? And it's so hot outside sometimes. Nighttime is cool, and there are less people outside to bother you."

@Fenrir

"you just love sucking the life outta things, don't you?" Raz snapped, shooting Sumon a glare. He shook his head and sighed "Though nights on beaches are noice too. Maybe a bit too cold but blankets are a thing for a reason." He reasoned, curling up comfortably on the edge of the couch and using one of his plucked feathers to play with Spooks

@cryptic-glitch

"I didn't ask to be sent to the most life-sucking place on earth, buddy." Simon tucked his legs under his butt and watched Razielle play with his purr machine out of the corner of his peeper. "I don't know why you're so surprised, anyway."
