"Easy?? I wish it was easy!" She laughed. "How do you think I got this?" She brushed her hair back to reveal her bruise again.

"It's still pretty easy if you know all the tricks" said Skye, "How long have you been on the streets anyway?"

"8 years. Been roughing it out here since I was 15."

"Been on my own since I was Nine" said Skye, "Left the city when I was seventeen, Came back more than once."

"I was slowly abandoned so eventually I just left."

"I tbought I was orphaned when I was nine… I came home one day and found my home ransacked… and my mom gone."

"That's…awful." She pulled him closer, trying to comfort him.

"Hey.. that changed when I found my younger siblings.." he said accepting the hug anyway. "For all I know my mom's still out there. "

"Still. I hate that people have to deal with that."

"Well I have a set of triplets as my younger siblings by my mother's blood. And she didn't vanish from their lives until they were nine…." he trailed off. "The three of them are about eighteen now…."

"Yeah I know the feeling. My older sister Eliza left when I was 7, Hayley died from hypothermia when I was 10 and Charlie was killed when I was 12."

"One of my brothers was abused, My older sister is an Alpha, My younger sister is a princess, and my other younger brother got possessed at age twelve, and tried to murder the youngest, We still have no clue where either one of them is at the moment…."

"The youngest is so strong he can take the other five of us out without breaking a sweat," stated Skye simply, "And we've never had a chance to see his twin go all out… at least not on his own power…"

"His abilities… are interesting to say the least.. But I really don't wanna see what happens when you make him angry…" Said Skye, "Especially after he was forced into hunting his twin for twelve years straight…. and may or may not be more than just a little messed up in the head…"

"Reminds me of myself. I'm a bit more than crazy. Years of mental abuse and traumatic experiences does that to a little girl."

"Try being possessed, tortured, and trying to kill the two people you wanna protect." said Skye, "That's what my brother went through every day of his life for twelve years."

She fell silent. She knew he'd been through something so much worse and she hated complaining when her problems seemed so insignificant.

She smiled sadly. "No no, it's okay. You need to vent."
