"Eh, hookers." Jo says casually, shrugging.
"Eh, hookers." Jo says casually, shrugging.
A fiery spark lit up in her eyes as she looked at the man before her and she she stood up to leave
Jo realises.
"Nicole- wait!"
"Nope im going home, thank you very much for making me realize how unimportant i am that i can be replaced by a fucking hooker."
Jo sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Nicole Chan."
Nikki turned to look at him with her arms crossed and her face red, her breathing was frantic as if she was holding back tears "What jo?"
Jo stares at Nikki, directly in the eyes.
"I am not replacing you. I never will replace you. If I ever have to, that will be the day I get to fight a god. I say shit without thinking. I'll work on that, though I can't make a promise that it will just stop."
Nikki wasn't exactly pleased with his answers still angered by his previous answer she huffed slightly a little quiver in her throat as she turned around again "i want to go home."
Jo nods slightly, looking at the waiter who'd witnessed the entire thing, taking the steak and standing up.
Nikki's turns to see the waiter but just walks away walking outside into i cool night standing in front of the building for a moment to collect herself
Jo pauses, then pulls out a 50 and slips it to the waiter, who nods and accepts it before turning and gliding away.
Jo steps outside, watching Nikki quietly.
Nikki let out a breath when jo walked out but didn't say anything she got into the limo without a sound
Jo climbs in after Nikki, closing the door.
They stay silent, watching the woman out of the corner of their eye.
Nikki sat in the seat with her legs crossed and her arms as well taking slow steady breaths after a few moments she finally spoke
"…i shouldn't have gotten mad….im sorry"
Jo jumps slightly, then shakes their head.
"I should've kept my mouth shut. It always ends up like this, you angry and me. . . doing something." they reply.
"It's whatever jo just forget it, it's fine"
"Whenever you say that, it usually means you're not fine, Nikki." Jo sighs.
"Well i am fine so drop it"
Jo looks away.
"Fine."
"I don't want to fight i just want to be okay.."
"The only way you become 'okay' is by arguing, and talking, and actually explaining what you feel. Not like I'm one to talk, but still. . ." Jo murmurs.
"Arguing doesn't make anything better.."
"It helps you get through a dispute. Sometimes to make things better, you have to make it so much worse." Jo replies.
"That's not always the case.."
Jo sighs.
"Always such a contrarian. But that's one of the things I love about you. . ."
