"Hmm, if that is the system that works for you. I shall make a list of the little supplies you have left, so we do not purchase multiple of the same thing and end up throwing out perfectly good food again. You had three jugs of milk in your fridge when I cleaned it out, all but one spoiled. So, I suppose we should put down milk on our list of things to not buy." Tobias said, and then went over what Aliah had, what she didn't, and meal plans for the best nutrition she could purchase for the smallest amount of credits. "We should leave now, it would be optimal for you to get up and out as soon as is possible. Putting things off will only worsen your mental state, and you may trust my judgement when I say it is bad."

As much as Aliah tried to focus solely on what Tobias said, her focus kept wandering. She nodded absentmindedly, picking at her sleeve before glancing up just in time to catch something about leaving and how bad her mental state was. "I'm really fine, Tobias, my mental state is good enough," She said while standing, hoping he didn't catch the blatant lie. They both knew she was in a bad state, but only one of them cared about trying to make her feel better. And it wasn't herself. Before they left, she paused, trying to decide whether it was worth the effort to look presentable, but just from her lack of energy, she knew there was no way she was going to change.

"You are not fine. You are… not pathetic, but something close to it. Now get up, we will be out for only a short while. By my estimate, if we keep a steady walking speed and get to where we need to be, it will only take an hour, possibly even a half hour if we hurry." they said, giving a clearly fake smile. Tobias simply was not good at properly expressing emotions, not that they had any to express.

"I'm not pathetic," She replied in a softer tone, frowning and standing anyway. Aliah walk to the door instead of answering further though, just the single motion draining her of precious energy she couldn't afford to lose. She wanted to just fall back into bed already, not go shopping. But there was no way she could talk them out of doing so. Maybe a walk wouldn't be the worst thing.

"I never said you were. My exact words were 'something close to it'." Tobias corrected cheerfully. "Your energy will go up significantly in the artificial sunlight. Vitamin D is very important to a healthy lifestyle, and even small amounts of light are generally important for a more happy, healthy life. Not like I would know," and wouldn't you know, that small rebellious statement sparked something in them, something… strange.

Aliah shook her head, pulling open the door and stepping outside with a sigh, "That's not a better way to word it." She glanced around once stepping out, messing with her sleeve as she waited for Tobias, "Let's go…before I decide to go back inside for the day." It wasn't horrible standing outside of her home, but she wanted to just go lay down again as soon as possible.
