"Hopefully…" Arien let out a breath, finally able to pull back some. "Should we… should we go to see just what all he did to our home?"

“Do you just want me to go look?” He asked. He didn’t know how bad it was, but if everything really was wrecked, he didn’t think Arien was in a good mental space to see that.

"Please…" Arien rested his head on his knees, eyes closing a moment before opening. "I… I should come with you-"

“No, no, it’s okay.” He reassured, already up on his feet. He gently ran a hand through his lover’s hair. “I’ll be right back.”

Arien leaned into Rafael's hand some, nodding.
"Okay… I love you, dear," he said softly.

“I love you too.” He said, smiling at him quickly before going to check on the damage. He didn’t want to do this either, but he knew that out of the two of them, he was the best one to do this right now. He sighed softly as he made his way to the other rooms.

The house was… a mess. Almost everything had been moved in Astral's search for Elliot. The god obviously hadn't cared. At least nothing was broken. It could be fixed easily, with Arien's strength.

While the state of disarray of the house was upsetting, he was glad nothing seemed to be broken, especially nothing of great value. That was certainly a relief. He continued to walk around, putting back whatever he could on his own.

The house was easy to pick up, for the most part, aside from furniture. Everything seemed to be relatively okay. Arien would be happy to learn about that.

Rafael was glad that he could clean up as much as he did, it made him feel a lot better as well honestly. After a few more minutes of straightening things up, he went back to the living room.

Arien looked up when Rafael stepped out, shifting some before standing.
"How bad is it?" He asked. He was concerned, with how long Rafael took.

He cast the other a reassuring smile. “It’s okay, I could get most of it picked up. There’s just some of the heavier stuff that I couldn’t move. But nothing seems to be really damaged.”

"Ah…" Arien managed a small smile, moving to hug Rafael. "I'm so glad…"

“Yeah me too..” he hugged Arien tightly, gently kissing the top of his head. He knew Arien would need a lot of love and support right now, and he was happy to provide it.

It was… nice, to go through something like this and actually have someone to be there for him. He moved to gently kiss Rafael in turn, hugging him close to his chest.
"I love you, so much, you know that..?"

“I do, and I’m so very lucky to be loved by you.” He said, swaying some with Arien in his arms, a content smile on his face.

Arien swayed some as well, holding Rafael close. He kept his head tucked against Rafael, eyes closing.

Rafael was glad to see Arien relaxing more. He himself was just glad the situation was over for now.

Arien was glad, too. He hummed some, shoulders relaxing and lowering.
"Mm…"

Rafael would stay like that with him for as long as he wanted. He let out a relaxed sigh, kissing Arien’s cheek.

Arien smiled softly at the kiss, moving to gently pull Rafael with him to the couch to relax.

Rafael happily let Arien pull him over to the couch, a wide smile on his face. He just wanted to move past the events of today.

Arien did, too. He hummed softly, moving to lay down instead of sit, his arms still secure around Rafael.

Rafael lay down with him, holding his lover a bit closer. “I love you.” He said softly.

"I love you too." Arien hummed softly, pressing a kiss to Rafael's cheek.

Rafael smiled, leaning into the kiss. He pulled Arien closer, pressing a kiss of his own to Arien’s forehead.

Arien let out a small breath, resting his head on Rafael lightly.
"You're the best…"

“Mmm…you think so?” He asked, looking up at Arien as much as he was able to.

"I really do." Arien offered a small smile, moving his hand to be holding Rafael's.

Rafael smiled widely. “Thank you…that means a lot to me”
