Evelyn returns from the kitchen, hearing a commotion outside.
"Join us and we'll create a new world! You could be free!" A young man's voice yells outside to the citizens who've gathered around, some of them cheering.
"What the bloody hell…?" Evelyn rolls her eyes as she walks to the front door, not opening it, and she sees the young man lock eye contact with her. She felt the rush before she expected it. Why are you so afraid of it? You should embrace your origins, your power. You could be alongside me in this new world. Before she knew it, she seemed automized in a sort of trance, and she opened the door, too fluid to have done it intentionally. Evelyn's face went from irritated to curious in a split second.

Asuka notices the commotion, and sees Evelyn walk out. He doesn't question her, and goes back to his thoughts.

Damian perks up when he hears the commotion, watching Evelyn as she went to the door he noticed the abrut change in her body language. A low growl erupted in his throat, "Somethings not right here" he said, getting to his feet and shifting again, heading to the door to see what was up.

(Yeah, it was really good!)
"Actually now that you point it out, yeah, something feels really off."
Asuka gets up, and looks outside.

Damian studies the man in the middle, immediately suspicous.

Asuka gently grabs Evelyn, and pulls her out back inside.

(lol, thanks! Ima describe the commotion outside first, then what Evelyn does…)

The young man looks to be in his mid-thirties, but experienced people (* cough * Damian * cough *) could see it otherwise. Besides the young appearance, this person has lived multiple lifespans. Some people, like Evelyn, were in a trance-like state. Others joined out of curiosity. "Let us rise up! Let the weak die and the powerful remain! We'll create a new world, one where we don't have to look out for the weak or poor!"

"New world…" Evelyn's voice was soft, trailing off at some points. She was walking, slowly, with a steady pace, pulling free of Asuka's grasp. Her sights were on the man, who she felt like she knew her entire life, yet she didn't.

"Evelyn! What the hell are you doing?!" Asuka grabs Evelyn, and tries to pull her back inside again.

Damian Summons a shadow shield, forcing Evelyn inside, and blocking whatever subtle magic was affecting her. "Evelyn," he said, "Are you alright?" his shadows spread to cover the entire front wall in such a way that no one outside would notice they were even there.

"Yeah. What the hell happened? That guys talking about something fuckin stupid." Asuka sits down.

Damian gave Asuka a sharp look, "That guy is more than what he seems to be" he said flatly, "And whatever he is.. he's probably dangerous."

"More of a idiot, than dangerous, but I'll trust you. I don't have exactly the most… correct perception of people at times."

"All i know is that he was useing some kind of magic to pull thise people into a trance"

"Yeah. That would make sense. Still all this "Let the weak die." Like that's a good plan, which it isn't… I'll stop with that now."

"Oh-oh my god, I didn't…I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-I didn't mean to do that!" Evelyn was flustered, almost hysterical. "I swear-I didn't mean to…"

The man scowled. He'd just lost a tremendous opportunity. That woman-and her friends-had potential. He didn't know how, but they did. And trying to recruit one of them would probably be his downfall. He needed to control them, and, if not he'll kill them all.

"Calamte!" said Damian freaking out just a little, "It's ok maera…."

(TBH Eura is good)
"Calm down the both of ya!" Asuka gently pulls them to the side of him, Damian on his right, Evelyn on his left. He puts a wing around them both.

Damian pulls away, thinking as he studied the man. What is he?? he thought, studying his movements. "Guys we might have a problem" said Damian, noting that the man was watching him, despited the shadows the man was watching him specifically. His gaze was analyzing, calculating, scrutinizing.

(I love how Asuka keeps trying to flirt, or kind of flirt, and it keeps failing XD)
"Shit." Asuka sees this as well.
