@ElderGod-Icefire
Calix took the piece, and nodded. "Alright." He replied.
Calix took the piece, and nodded. "Alright." He replied.
Alistor threw the door open and came to face the beast head on.
Alistor cursed under his breath.
"Get it's face I guess."
(I gotta go, sorry.)
(it's okay!)
Calix jabbed at the beast, eyes narrowed angrily.
The beast screeched in rage and swung it's hand around, knocking Calix off his feet, then kicked Alistor in the face as he tried to stab at it's chest.
(This is the point where one of them manifests their powers. Who will it be?)
Calix shouted as he fell, hauling himself back to his feet and charging at the beast again.
(Uhm…idk lol)
(If you guess what number I'm thinking of, you are it.)
(uhm…10 lmao)
(The number was 9. Close enough. You manifest your powers first. Do it however you like.)
Alistor sat up and saw his friend charging.
"Calix, stop!!"
Calix did, heat flickering at his fingertips, accompanied by the faintest of sparks. He didn't notice, attention on the creature.
"Calix." Alistor's eyebrows scrunched together. "Your hair is catching fire." He smashed the stick into the monster's face, knocking it away from him.
Calix frowned, touching a hand to his hair. His hand came away with flames flashing to life on the tips, and his eyes widened.
"That isn't natural, is it?"
Alistor backed away slowly, closer to the beast, snarling in a crouch.
Calix shook his head, staring at his hands. "No…"
"Look out!!" Alistor yelled, as the monster launched itself past him, at Calix. Alistor jumped forward to try and protect his friend.
Calix shouted, throwing up his hands. "Alistor, don't!"
( I think that since they're connected, the powers will manifest at the same time.)
(okay)
Alistor crouched, suddenly realizing what he was doing, and held up his hands. The monster stopped in mid air, flailing madly and trying to get at the boy.
"This is fucking crazy!" cried Alistor, staring at the hanging monster. Unconsciously, he clenched one hand, and the beast screeched as it's legs crumpled like paper mache.
Calix stared, eyes wide. "Yeah, no Shit." he breathed.
Alistor's brow furrowed with effort, and he threw the beast away from him.
"Let's go, to the front door!!"
Calix nodded, and started running. His hands were still on fire.
Before the two even reached it, the door was blown off its hinges by some invisible force. Alistor shook his head in disbelief.
Outside, the museum's courtyard was completely empty, something Alistor thought impossible from the incredible amount of geezers that flocked the place daily.
Regardless, the yard was quiet enough to hear a pin drop.
Calix looked around. "Where is everyone?" He said slowly. He shook his head quickly as a wave of…of something went through him and out into the courtyard.
