(Same!)
(Yeah she’s cool ^^)
(very wonderfull)
Cassia stood up and followed behind Mithonbaal. She assumed that he new what he was doing, and she trusted him a little more than she would have if they had met under different circumstances. Cassia looked back to Ica to see if she was coming, then watched as Ehlaea and Mithonbaal tried not to burst out laughing, not getting the joke even thought she knew greek.
Mithonbaal whirled around, still supressing laughter. "Oh, hey Cassia!" he says, back to Egyptian.
Efraim raised their head when the guards arrived, and seeing the others stand, followed suit and followed the guards. They caught the princess's gaze but quickly looked away. Her Highness looked so sad, but they couldn't really do anything to comfort her. The guards would never let them get that close.
(Hey, Lynn, just waiting for your response)
The guards led the group down the eastern halls of the palace, which seemed to extend way into the distance. As they walked the guards seemed to whisper amongst themselves. They themselves seemed uneasy about the newly imposed king's plans. He was after all, only temporary Pharaoh. While they walked the halls, the decorations seemed to change. They seemed to indicate that the group was getting closer to the river. The designs seemed to rise, as the blue of the walls climbed up to the roof, and the images of the aquatic creatures grew in size. Crocodiles and herons creeped along the walls as they grew closer to the opening at the end of the hall, and with them, the smell of reeds and water grew as well, until they could feel a slight breeze wafting towards them. Finally, they exited the palace. The air at this end seemed cooler than the front entrance. That was because they were right in front of the Nile, vast and stagnantly blue, seeming almost neon beside the decorated umber floor tiles of the palace. As they stepped out onto the white sands of the riverbed, the guards lead the group to a specific boat at the docks, by which the Pharaoh was standing, waving.
(The rest of you, don't respond yet please, until Lynn does)
(Alright guys, Lynn is actually dropping out of this rp, so you can respond now)
(So, what’ll happen to Ica, Lynn’s character?)
(Do any of you wanna take over? Or invite someone else? I have no idea what to do with Ica honestly)
(You can just pretend she never existed ig 😅)
(Shrug. I’m not sure either. Though, I’ll pass on taking over Ica)
(Anyone else?)
(I can't, sorry.)
(Alright then, we shall pretend she never existed ig)
(Shrug)
Ehlaea didn’t speak as the guards escorted the group. Though she did listen to the guards, pondering over their whispers.
Her cheeks were still a bit red, and she still couldn’t bring herself to look at Mithonbaal just yet. Thankfully, she had something for her eyes to settle on, and that was the intriguing decor, and then the Nile River itself. It was gorgeous up close, as were the boats.
Efraim turned their attention to the paintings that grew in detail and size. They were less familiar with these paintings, and Father said they had been done by his father, Efraim’s grandfather, many years ago. They admired them until the group left the palace, when the smell of the Nile hit their nose. Their eyes caught the Pharoh standing next to the boat, and they examined the vessel expectantly, some excitement coming to them now.
