For some reason I have been strucken with the mood to write stuff with my gothlit ocs. Hi, have Anna Saville, a werewolf doctor lesbian and her best friends, two hydelings and a resurrected alchemic chimera who she has taken upon herself to protect at all costs. I don't know what I want to do with this other than lots of drama and found family.

@Icefire you were the main person I considered for this to annoy if no one else would join but then I decided to just @ you anyways for this because I'm literal trash. I know you want to babe, join me in this madness. (if you don't want to that's fine I just wanted to see if you'd want to)

inserts some joke about how i'm brainwashing you here anyways lets fucking gooooo! Any characters you wanna use? Plot points that would work for ya?

I remember we had this but with a repurposed girl hamlet dating anna, maybe we could redo that?

Uh,,, kinda? I was going to take a few classic lit characters involved with my OCs’ stories and kinda… make them more antagonisty? If that makes sense.

Lol sorry that’s the adhd talking. I can never be specific. Anyways, basic plot is that Anna gets her blood stolen by Jekyll and he uses her werewolf transformation powers to make Hyde, and he experiments this on two dumb teenagers before he tests it on himself. Frankenstein’s Monster, vengeful and depressed, learns how to reanimate through Victor’s journal among other things and creates a part human alchemical chimera that goes horribly wrong, and then like Victor runs away from his mistakes for fear of hurting anyone else. Anna takes these poor souls in and basically moms them back to health, she’s cool like that.

it's fine! ooh nice! And somewhere along the way they pick up Elanor, who may or may not be pregnant? (just like last time, I have not decided, so it is Schrodinger's pregnancy lmao)

Lol okay, and yeah! Or maybe Anna finds her before all that stuff happens? Idk.

Deleted user

Oooh cool! So, how should we start then? Before most of the Anna action or after? With the kiddos I mean.

Deleted user

Uh, I’ll say before so I can have time to come up with more plot and drag things out for longer. I start or you?

Anna was sitting in her study late at night, staying close to the door so she could hear if anyone was coming to her for help. She usually stayed up like this, day visits rarely happened to her. It was seen as shameful to visit the woman doctor, especially one of her color so she slept most of the time during the day. She was the only one she knew in London, but she’d made acquaintance with another in Glasgow, part time alchemist and full time healer Mina Harker, who also happened to be a vampire. That didn’t stop her and her husband, however, from having a very meaningful relationship. She subsisted off of pig’s blood. Anna knew what it was like to see a fresh young pig and get the urge to devour, but unlike her friend, she never had the urge to go after humans. She had more discipline than that. She fluffed her curls, a nervous habit on nights like these where her wolf senses told her to anticipate something. They were usually right, too. So she sat, and waited, and watched the door for anyone to come to her for aid.

Elanor had only recently arrived from Denmark to London. She knew she needed to find a doctor to visit; while she had been able to stitch up the wound, she still felt sickly, and the stitches were weeping blood and something else as well. It needed to be professionally dealt with, and she had not been willing to go to the ship's doctor. He had been an older, rather creepy looking older man, and she had no doubts that had he had her alone in the room he used for operations, he would have touched her in ways she did not want him to. So she had avoided him and kept her corset laced tight, to keep pressure on the stupid thing. Even now, making her way through London's darkened streets, she was cursing herself for being sloppy enough to allow herself to be stabbed. By Laertes, of all people. She had been sparring with him since they were young, and yet he had managed to land a blow. Sloppy. Finally, she located a doctor, and knocked on the door. The young woman was wearing a dark cloak, the hood pulled over her face and the rest of it tucked close around her body, keeping most of her in shadow and, conveniently, hiding the sword belted at her waist.

Anna held back the urge to bark. Things like this always caught her off guard even when she was anticipating them. So she opened the door, and saw an injured woman near death and seeming like she could fall over at any second. She quickly ushered her in, silently, and sat her on the cot she used for emergencies like this. “I can tell you’ve gotten yourself into a good scrape, miss. What caused this? Stab wounds don’t usually cause sickness like this, but an overdose of opiates could.” she said quickly. “May I take off your clothes near the wound? I promise, I’m only here to help.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Elinor blinked at her, struggling to focus on the rapid speech that left Anna's mouth. "I…it is not opiates, I have not taken drugs." she said slowly, eyebrows knitting together as she did her best to ensure each word was the proper English one; her Danish accent lay heavy on her tongue. "You may take the clothing off if it is necessary. The blade was…the blade was poisoned, I believe." it was just like Claudius, to resort to such underhanded measures as those. A sharp, poisoned blade, during what was supposed to be a duel. Despicable.

"I can see that. You don't look like the type to take drugs. Are you Danish?" she asked, in an attempt to distract this mystery person from her possible imminent death. "But opiate poisoning is quite common in my line of work. Whatever or whoever poisoned you likely used opiates. Easy to get, and easy to abuse." she said, quickly removing the hand-done stitches and cleaning the wound with alcohol. They weren't half bad, as if someone had never had practice outside of stitching and diagrams. But still, that required a medical education. So this woman was likely rich, as well as foreign. She got out her own materials for stitches and as quickly as she could without harming anything sewed up her wound. When she finished, she cleaned the wounds again and sat mystery woman up with pillows. "Rest. Overdose is very rarely survived by people with a habit, but you have a good chance since you don't take any sort of drugs."

@ElderGod-Icefire

She nodded slightly. "Ja, Danish." she said softly, wincing as the stitches were removed and then fixed again. She was quiet for the most part, though when Anna sat her up she winced again. "Thank you." wisps of blond hair had escaped from a low ponytail, falling into her face. Her eyes were the pale blue of forget-me-nots, and her skin a pale cream. She certainly looked scandinavian.
