(Ooo that’s a long time.
Maybe we could continue…?)
(here's where we were if we want to do that)
Casey turned around in her chair of the van, looking back at Luca, Lane, and Cameron. Sol had gone ahead of them and was hiding in the building. "Alright Lane, hook us up," she said.
(also I'm in pst so im like 3 hours ahead of most of you)
"Yeet." Lane said from his small pile of candy wrappers as he slipped on his bulky headphones and began to type away on his laptop. "And…. Boom."
(Nah, MM you’re behind me.)
(ohhh yeah. I'm super smart, I definitely know how time zones work)
What time is it for you?///
(It is 10:15PM for me hahahehseisidnssks)

"Great." Casey checked her watch. "It's time." She slid open the door of the van and let Cam and Luca out. "See you on the other side," Casey said to Lane, before sliding the door closed. Casey looked around at her surroundings, attentive. "Testing, testing," she said, looking at Cameron as though she was talking to him. "How are we doing, Lane?"
What time is it for you?///

"Pretty damn good, see Shady Dealers can be helpful!" He said, sounding as if he had tried to prove this point over and over again. "'Specially when they give me taffy."

(Oh cool! I feel like no one here is in the same time zone as me, so hi!)
"Pretty damn good, see Shady Dealers can be helpful!" He said, sounding as if he had tried to prove this point over and over again. "'Specially when they give me taffy."
"Lane Stone, did you take candy from some shady tech-dealer?" Casey asked, sighing. "Did you forget what happened with that weapons dealer in Cancún?"
Cameron set a hand on his cheek and sighed softly. Lane would pick up a piece of candy off of the side of the road that was unwrapped and pissed on.
"That was once! I now know better than to accept off-brand M&M's." He said with a pout and a defensive tone. "Once~"
"Alright, well don't come crying to me if something happens to you because of that taffy," Casey's voice was cold but anyone who really knew her knew she rushed Lane to the nearest doctor in an instant. She looked down at her watch again. "It's showtime, let's head in."
Luca was snickering as she followed Casey, she was supposed to be keeping a straight face for the job, but Lane's antics always had a way of breaking through any tension to make her laugh. Seeing a cut look from the corner of Casey's eye, she quit and got a hold on herself.
Stretching discreetly, she settled into her seductress role with a confident smile. It was almost a literal switch, going from a casual young adult, to a walking sex bomb. She was ready.
Cameron shifted the van into park and took the keys from ignition. He sighed deeply, rubbing his face. He grabbed out his gun and knives, tucking them away into their proper places on his broad shoulders and legs before getting out of the car. He tucked his cloak and hood away, just showing the plain black underdress. He bobbed after the group, his weaponry shining dangerously in the watery sunlight. His face was set and unreadable.
Casey walked towards the building and down a side alley, towards a door. It seemed that every time her feet hit the pavement was filled with purpose. She reached the door and held her hand out towards Cameron. "The keys, if you will, Cameron."
Cameron swiftly tucked the keyring out of a side pocket and handed it to Casey the moment Casey stuck out her hand. He didn’t say anything, just gazed at her, his jaw set.
"Thank you." Casey chose a key and used it to unlock the door. She handed the ring back to Cameron and walked in. Inside was a large, spacious room with concrete floors, walls, and ceilings. There were concrete posts scattered around the room that connected to the ceiling. Along the ceiling were beams and poles. The only light came from three windows on the other side of the room. It was hard to tell if they were dirty or frosted. Farther up and to the right was a large doorway. Instead of doors, it had a thick plastic curtain that was impossible to see through. In the middle of the room sat two metal chairs. The one facing them had armrests, the other did not. Casey walked over to the chair with the armrests and sat down, crossing one leg over the other. She checked her watch. "Warner should be here any moment now."
Luca took up position on Casey's left, her usual spot, and stood as still as stone. Her eyes were trained on the far door. She hoped Cam had remembered to pack an extra gun for her in case things went south or if this was a set up. She had forgotten to ask him after all their…arguing. Rookie mistake, she chastised herself. She wasn't weaponless, the slim knives that Sol had gifted to her years ago were strapped all over her body, delicate enough not to be noticed around all her assets.
