Finn held on, needing O'Hara's kissed like she needed air, pressing her hair against the other until they were one, then panted once they drew apart. She chucked, tilting her head while she intently studied O'Hara's features, already missing her badly.
She nodded, laughing again while she drew her legs to her chest and smiled. "I will, don't worry." She assured, waving goodbye as O'Hara left,
And she was alone

O’Hara sighed as she shut the door behind her, but she had lives to save. She hurried to the ground floor and had her car summonded.

“Where to, Dr. O’Hara?” her driver asked as always.

“All Saints,” she replied casually, creating a contact for Finn as she spoke. “Quickly, please.”

Finn yawned, not knowing how much she would miss O'Hara even as she was gone for only minutes. She entered the kitchen area, looking around for something easy to make, while she sighed and stared out the window into the streets below.

O’Hara reached the hospital and only had mere moments to get situated before she was paged. The victims had arrived. The woman steeled herself and strode out of her office and down to the floor. The first person through the door on a gurney was a woman about Finn’s age, and O’Hara instantly stiffened.

Finn made herself oatmeal, trying to use O'Hara's things sparingly. She felt a little intrusive in the doctor's home, and abit nervous by herself.
But O'Hara would be back soon enough, right?

"I've got this one, Dr. O'Hara," Cruz intervened, heading for the girl, and for once, she was thankful for his brashness. "You take the next patient."

"You don't tell me what to do, Dr. Cruz," she muttered, but she strode past and aided the next patient, a middle-aged man, into the door of another emergency treatment room.

Suddenly, Dr. Roman appeared at her shoulder. "Excuse me, Dr. O'Hara?"

O'Hara gave a labored sigh and didn't even turn to face Roman. "Yes?"

"Eleanor… can I call you that?"

O'Hara whipped her head around, her eyes wide and fierce. "No."

Dr. Roman's eyes widened, and she backed away a step. "Sorry… I was wondering if… I could help you? With your patient?"

"No," O'Hara repeated, setting up an IV. "Someone call up to cardiology and get a consult!"

"On it!" Jackie responded immediately. "Zoey! Fill in!"

"All hands on deck, I see," O'Hara remarked as Jackie passed her.

"Yeah, no kidding."

O'Hara chuckled quietly and looked over through the glass of the operating room next door where Cruz was instructing a team of nurses around the girl. Her heart sank, and again she thought of Finn. With a sharp exhale, she faced Dr. Roman. "I need you to take over here," she stated.

The blonde woman's eyes widened. "O-Oh… okay!"

O'Hara nodded, and she turned at the door briefly. "And don't ever call me by my first name ever again," she stated firmly before she left. She headed to her office, very briefly, and dialed Finn's number.

Finn was staring out the window, when her phone buzzed. At the sight of O'Hara's number, she promptly picked up, holding it close to her ear. "Are you okay? What's up?"

Finn moved herself to the couch, lips pursing while she twirled her hair nervously. "Are you alright? Do you need anything? What's going on there?"

"Yes, I'm fine." O'Hara looked down at her outfit which was covered by a surgical plastic sheet. "There's a lot of patients, and only three doctors to work between them." Her pager began to beep again. "Fuck. Akalitus is paging me again. I'm so sorry, darling, I must go. I'll call you later, alright?"

Finn it the inside of her cheek, sighing while she heard the unmistakable sound of O'Hara needing to go. In truth, she hated it, She hated being alone.
"You're fine. You're alright." She smiled, loving the way O'Hara said darling then slumped back into the couch. "that's alright."

“I’m sorry,” O’Hara apologized again before hanging up and rushing back to the floor.

By the time all the patients were mostly stable, or in the OR for surgery, O’Hara was completely exhausted. She made her way back to her office and collapsed heavily into her chair.

Finn laid limply in the chair, staring blankly out the window. She wasn't hungry anymore, her stomach instead churning with nervousness for O'Hara. She hoped dearly that the doctor was okay.

After taking a few minutes alone in her office to collect herself, she called Finn. She cleared her throat before the girl picked up and made sure her voice sounded okay.

Finn collected herself, not wanting O'Hara to know how terrible it was, not being able to help her. "hey! Everything okay?"

"Oh, just lovely," O'Hara replied, running a finger along the edge of her desk. "Listen, I'm about to head out for lunch. Would you like to meet me someplace?" she asked.

(okay!! :)

Finn's expression brightened, her excitement almost knocking her out of the chair. She didn't know how willing she was to be with O'Hara again. "I'd love to!!" She cheered, sitting back down to calm herself. "Where should we go?"

@emilyevewrites group

O'Hara heard the chair fall, and she chuckled quietly. "Excited, are we darling?" she teased, although she was just as eager to see Finn. "I was thinking we could go to The Terrace. It's one of my favorite places in the world. I can have my car collect you and take you there."

Finn laughed and nodded, pulling some hair behind her ear while she ran to the bathroom, checking her features and outfit. She didn't look nearly as stunning as O'Hara always did, but it would have to do.
"Yes!! I-I'll meet you there!! Thank you!!" She chuckled at the word collected. It seemed everything about the doctor was simply elegant, from her physique, to her fashion, to her voice… she smiled at the sheer thought

"Lovely, darling," O'Hara purred. "Feel free to look through my closet for anything you like. I can't wait to see what you pick out." She looked up as someone knocked at her door. "Sorry, love. Someone's at my door. I've got to dash, see you there."

Finn sighed, letting her go while she returned to the closet. What do I wear, indeed?
After what seemed like hours of selective choosing, Finn decided on a pair of high waisted ripped jeans, a small black tube top, and a slightly too big button up blouse. She carefully dotted on a little makeup, grabbed her things, and then headed out the door, waiting for the driver

The driver appeared very shortly after, and he got out to open the door for her. "Ms. Finn," he greeted her with a curt nod of his head.

"Come in!" O'Hara called after hanging up with Finn.

Jackie entered. "Hey, got time for lunch? It's been a long day."

O'Hara hesitated for a moment. "Sorry, Jacks, I've got plans. Maybe Zoey will go with you?"

Jackie made a face. "Ugh, fine. You owe me."

"For what?" O'Hara asked with amusement. "I have plans."

"Since when do you have lunch plans?" Jackie asked, shaking her head before she left.

O'Hara smirked once she was gone.

Finn eagerly slipped inside, taking her usual spot while smiling giddily. She muttered a small thank you, staring outside at the vastness of the city, the whole scene seeming a lot less terrifying than before.
"Oh, yes, we're going to- I'm going to- th-the Terrace." She chuckled, sitting back in her seat. "please"

@emilyevewrites group

The driver smiled back at her. "Of course, Miss Finn. After we pick up Dr. O'Hara from All Saints." With that, he set off in the direction of the hospital.

O'Hara collected everything she would need in her purse, and she slipped off her doctor's coat. She strode through the halls and left, ignoring the curious gazes of the nurses as she did. It was common knowledge that she usually had lunch with Jackie, but she left without her companion today. She waited patiently on the curb, looking up the street for her familiar black car.
