I rush to the stranger's side once he passed out Neil responding "The gateways open just go out the front door now"

"Thanks Neil come on Mal we need to go!"

I yelped when the stranger hit the floor, and saw flames outside. "We gotta move this kid, and get away from that." She said looking at Tempest.

the stranger awoke to the sound of talking. " what…what happened?"

"Nothing we'll need to worry about for long." I had picked up the stranger with a little grunt, pushing open the Tavern door with my foot, then we were a heavily wooded area, under a million stars, nighttime now.

I followed behind and was marveled at the beautiful sky. You could never see it in the city!
"Wow…it's amazing."

The stranger looked around and watched the sky. "My…my name's Jake" the stranger said out of nowhere.

I looked down at him. "Mallory. What are you?" She asked defensively.

"I'm a …i'm… an… Alchemist."

I scrunched my brow. "An Alchemist?" I asked confused.

" i work on making potions…i make spells for the greater good…but …i have no idea how i ended up in flames." looks around at everyone, with pleading eyes.

"Well is there anyway we can help you?" I ask softening my tone.

pulls up my sleeves to show my burns. Each one overlaps a tattoo i have on each arm.

"Yikes and i thought my back was bad." I shake my head "Come on we need to get you to Haven…can you walk?"

I felt awful looking at the burns. "If not, I think I can help with that."

tries to walk, but falls over.

I ran over to Jake and bent down next to him. "How about we help you out there pal."

I take one side and Mallory takes the other as i lead them both down the heavily tread path. Soon I light could be seen from what appeared to be a very old run-down looking cabin in the middle of the heavy woods.

"Is that what we're looking for?" I ask looking at Tempest.

"Yeah trust me it's a lot bigger on the inside…like that tv show Dr…ah nevermind you probably don't know." I chuckle a bit as we near the steps

I gave him a funny look. "Whatever." I shrug adjusting my hold on Jake.
