Jake looked at her. " Actinolite is a very bad person. She hurt you."
Jake looked at her. " Actinolite is a very bad person. She hurt you."
“…..Hurt??” Angel asked, glancing to him, she sounded confused and cocked her head.
Mallory had showered, and was sitting on her bed. Her eyes were glossed, and her face was red from crying.
(I’d respond but I can’t)
(Oof- Maybe you could have Rainbow come check on Mallory? Idk)
(Though I am about to have to go to bed- heh))
(Ah, that sucks)
(Yes it rather does, but I'll be back in the morning, around 8 EST)
(Okay)
Mallory had showered, and was sitting on her bed. Her eyes were glossed, and her face was red from crying.
Two gentle knocks came from the door. “Mallory..?” A voice asked softly, it sounded like Tiger, who in turn, sounded worried.
Mallory sat up, and rubbed her eyes. "Yeah?" She called, her voice sounding broken.
“…Are you okay in there? I’m getting some pretty bad vibes from this room…Mind if I come in?” She asked upon hearing Mal’s voice quivering.
"I guess not," She said, giving up on trying to sound normal. She was tired, and just done.
Tiger opened the door gingerly, closing it behind her with a sigh. “So…would you like to tell me what’s going on?” She asked sweetly, giving her a reassuring smile that said so many kind words at once.
Mallory didn't say anything, only lay back on the bed. With a sigh, she turned her head to Tiger. "It's just… Jake…"
She sat down beside her, looking at Mal. “Ah, Jake. So what did he do this time..?” Tiger asked with a soft, acknowledging chuff.
"He offered himself up, and is going to leave. That's what's up." She muttered, feeling her eyes fill with tears again.
“Oh…heh… I know how that is… living with Rainbow isn’t always the easiest.” Tiger nodded, “She always insists on protecting me, even if the place we are in is clear. She hovers around me like a Ruby to a Sapphire, and says she would jump into battle to avoid me getting hurt… Some people are just like that, and there’s no way to change it…. But there is a way to change their mind.” She smiled.
“How? Other than me purposely doing it, I mean.” She asked sitting up. She reached over and picked up a pillow hugging it tight.
“Well, all you’ve really have to do is talk to them, don’t bottle up your feelings. I’ve done that before, but once I finally cracked (figuratively, of course) to a nice Rutile, it really helped me… Being older than the years you count means you see a lot of things, and some of them aren’t good. That’s why you’ve gotta’ talk.”
"But to who? Jake?" She asked flopping back and starring at the roof.
“Yes, Jake.” Tiger responded firmly, “If not, talk to Tempest.”
"But they're boys!" She exclaimed distressed. "They wouldn't understand why this is bothering me so bad."
Tiger chuckled. “I have no idea why you’re so stressed. They’re people…just like you. Small differences like being ‘boys’ or whatever, don’t matter, think about the ways that you’re alike. Like me and Rainbow, we have completely different perspectives on life, but we still care for each other, and I know they care about you.”
"Yeah… but, the only boy I ever talked to was my brother Cedric. And even he couldn't always help me." She sighed rubbing her face. "I just don't know where to start."
