Jamie's heart leaped, but she didn't show it at all. The students filed out, leaving the Ravenclaw and two Hufflepuffs alone with the professor.
Jamie's heart leaped, but she didn't show it at all. The students filed out, leaving the Ravenclaw and two Hufflepuffs alone with the professor.
"You want to see us Professor?" Jace asked.
"Ah, yes. I'm having a returning to Hogwarts party and I wanted to invite you three. You may bring a date of course." Professor Slughorn winked.
Jamie smiled shyly. "Th-Thank you for the gracious invitation, Professor." Sirius…
"Thank you kindly Professor." Evanna smiled.
"It's this evening at eight. Try not to be late." The Professor chuckled.
"We won't, I assure you," Jamie replied, glancing briefly at Evanna and Jace.
Jace made a offended face but laughed. "If anything it will be this one."
"Hey." Evanna pouted.
Jace picked her up and carried her out of the classroom. "Coming Jamie?"
Jamie followed skeptically. However, once she stepped out the door, she was enveloped in familiar arms. "Sirius!" she yelped.
Evanna heard her sister yelp and giggled. "Flower crowns!"
"What?" Jace asked confused.
"I need to make some!" Evanna wrangled out of his arms and skipped down towards the doors.
"Wait up Ev!"
Jamie looked at his smirking expression. "Were you waiting for me?"
"What kind of a question is that?" He pulled her against him and murmured in her ear, "Of course I was."
Jace chased Evanna out into the field near Hagrid's house. "And we begin."
Evanna began collecting flowers as Jace followed her around in awe.
"Want to follow your sister?" Sirius asked softly, brushing a piece of her hair away from her face.
"Alright," Jamie replied.
His expression turned from sexy to playful. "Come on then!" he cried, grabbing her hand and running down the hall. She gasped and stumbled after him with a grin on her lips.
Evanna looked at all the flowers she had already collected.
"Do you have enough, babe?" Jace asked.
"Yes. Now it's time for the creation process." Evanna smiled.
Jamie and Sirius rushed through the hallways and soon met up with Evanna and Jace.
"Jamie, Sirius. I wondered if you two would join us." Jace said with a laugh.
"Are you here to help?" Evanna asked Jamie.
"I'm partially here because he dragged me," Jamie pointed out.
Sirius kissed her lightly.
"Thank you Sirius. Now everyone can help me." Evanna smiled.
Jamie sighed. She pulled out of his embrace and looked at her sister. "How do you need help, Eva?"
"Can you hold this so I can wrap the flowers around?" Evanna gave her sister a pleading look.
Jamie sighed and knelt beside her, leaving only the two boys standing. "How do you want me to hold it?"
"Hold in in like a circle." Evanna replied.
"Aren't they adorable Sirius?" Jace said to Sirius.
"Like this?" Jamie asked, doing what she hoped was right.
"You read my mind," Sirius said with a quiet laugh.
"Yes like that." Evanna smiled.
"Up for a duel Sirius?" Jace said, pulling out his wand.
Jamie smiled back. She loved spending time like this with Evanna, no matter how much her sister got on her nerves at times. "Are you looking forward to Professor Slughorn's party tonight?" she asked casually.
Sirius grinned. "Of course, Jace. I'm warning you – I've been practicing since last time."
"Yes, I am so excited. Did Mum pack us those dresses?" Evanna asked.
Jace eyes narrowed. "Try me Sirius!"
"She did." A dreamy look covered Jamie's features. "I know Sirius will love me in it."
Sirius smirked and raised his wand. "Are you ready?"
