Evanna smiled. "Oh I have a free period right before Care of Magical Creatures, perhaps I'll go make flower crowns."
Evanna smiled. "Oh I have a free period right before Care of Magical Creatures, perhaps I'll go make flower crowns."
Jamie shook her head. "Hush, now, Evanna. Professor Slughorn is coming."
"Oh wonderful." Evanna beamed as the Professor entered the room.
Jamie paid close attention to his instructions.
Evanna doodled on the edge of the page. Her bowtruckle popped it's head up. Oh dear!
"Evanna…" Jamie muttered, writing quickly to compensate for her sister.
"Yes?" Evanna replied.
"Hide… it…" She hissed.
"Hide what, oh." Evanna looked down and urged the Bowtruckle back inside her pocket.
Jamie pressed her lips together. Evanna had hardly taken any notes.
"Miss Jamie, what is Felix Felicis?" Professor Slughorn asked.
Jamie looked up. "Felix Felicis is a potion that a witch or wizard will drink when they intend to have a series of good lucks," she answered promptly.
"Very good." Professor Slughorn clapped his hands together.
Jamie smiled and continued to listen.
Evanna continued to doodle.
"Babe, you really need to pay attention." Jace turned the page in her notebook.
"I am, don't worry." Evanna reassured him.
"What if the professor calls on you?" Jamie asked, knowing her sister really wasn't paying attention.
"I'll answer the question." Evanna replied.
"Will you know the answer?"
"Most likely."
Jamie pressed her lips together and took diligent notes.
Evanna finally decided to take some notes.
"It's for the best Ev, I know you don't like it but O.W.L.S. are at the end of the year." Jace gave her a pitiful look.
Jamie nudged Evanna with her elbow and casually showed her the notes she's missed.
Evanna copied down the notes in her own way.
Jamie pressed her lips together. "Hurry," she whispered to her sister.
"I am going as fast as my brain allows." Evanna finished up the notes.
"Today was a great first day with you lovely student. Class is dismissed, however, Jamie, Evanna, and Jace. Do please stay behind.
