Every time Renata seems close to cooling down, she looks at Dustin and starts laughing harder than before. It takes her a solid ten minutes to - barely - be able to hold a straight face.
"You're right, I did." she says, a giggle then sending her back to holding her stomach and crying laughing.
Dustin watches, still smiling.
Renata - after another few minutes of laughter - finally collects herself again and looks at Dustin, wiping away the tears, her face easily visible as red even in the dark room.
"I'm- so sorry-" she says after a deep breath and a couple more giggles.
"It's fine." He keeps grinning at her.
Renata giggles again. "You sure?"
Renata tilts her head and reaches out a hand, letting it rest on the side of Dustin's face.
"You're right, though." she murmurs.
"About your looks. Very pretty." Renata replies. "Though the 'smart' part is debatable."
Dustin huffs, “I am too!” He grumbles, closing his eyes, “I can be smart. . .”
"Like when?" Renata asks, playfully mocking Dustin.
He scowls at her, grumbling and pouting.
Renata prods Dustin's side. "Like when?"
He huffs, "When I wanna be."
Renata smirks.
"That must be rarely then."
Renata giggles. "I'm right and you're just mad about it.
He huffs and crosses his arms, "Ren, are you calling me stupid?"
Renata pauses and then starts laughing.
"Isn't that what I've been saying since I met you? Dork. . ."
Dustin looks at her for a moment before sighing and pushing at her, "Off my bed. Sit in the very uncomfortable plastic chairs." He mutters.
Renata rolls her eyes and rolls sideways off the bed, landing hard on the floor and deciding to stay right there.
"Hey, I'm stupid too, y'know."
He stays quiet, laying back on the bed. He crosses his arms behind his head, looking up at the ceiling.
