“It’s okay, Landyn…” he gently took his hand. “I just want you to be happy.”

"…" He was shaking.

“It’s okay, Landyn. Deep breaths”

"I-I…." he sighs

“Shh” he leaned on him lightly “it’s okay”

"…" Landyn wanted to hug him but stopped himself

Alex beat him to it, lightly wrapping his arms around Landyn.

Landyn flinched but hugged back.

“You okay?” He mumbled, but didn’t let go.

"A little…"

Alex quickly let go of him, worrying he’d done something wrong.

Landyn looked confused but shrugged it off.

“Sorry…”

"Don't be. It was actually kinda nice knowing someone cares…"

“And I do care about you. A l-lot actually” he blushed at the last sentence.

Landyn blushed. "I-I care about you too…"

“I-I’m glad to hear it…”

Landyn sighs. "Am I able to leave now?"

“Y-yeah I think so”

"O-Ok…I don't like it here… For many reasons"

Alex didn’t press him for an explanation “let’s get out of here then”

Landyn gets up and hops on one foot. "I need crutches or something…"

“Oh yeah. We could probably ask the nurse…”
