"Do you know if anything bad has happened to him?"

He hesitated in replying “A long time ago…yeah”

"And that would be?"

“It’s not my place to talk about it” he said firmly. He had no intention of saying anything.

"I'm just trying to get information. But I can respect that. You really seem to care about him."

Alex felt his face blush “y-yeah I guess I do…”

"O-Oh…Did I say something wrong?"

“N-no! Not at all! I just have…a lot of weird stuff that I’m trying to deal with right now.”

"Sorry…I-…Never mind."

Alex wanted to ask what she was going to say but being the awkward bab he was he just gave her a curious look.

"He's good for now. He just exerted himself too much."

“O-okay. Thank you” this lady kinda weirded him out, probably just because she talked to him.

She smiled and left the room.

He breathed out a small sigh of relief before sitting next to Landyn, waiting for him to wake up.

Landyn shifted a little

“Landyn?” He whispered quietly.

"Hmm…?" he said sleepily

“Thank goodness you’re okay!”

"…S-sorry bout that…"

“Stop apologizing dummy”

"…" he nods slowly. When he noticed his sleeve he quickly pulled it down.

“I already saw Landyn…there’s no point in trying to hide it anymore.”

"…" He looks away.

“Landyn…why didn’t you just tell me?”

"… I didn't want you to be worried…"
