Oriana thought for a second, then smiled and shrugged, "Maybe I will come. I don't have anything going on Thursday." She leaned back in her chair, studying Atlas. He was cute, and as much as they were different, she wouldn't deny that she did have a crush on him. "Would my cheering be enough to help you guys win?" She asked, brushing a stand of hair out of her face and paying no attention to her forgotten homework.

"Maybe. All though most of the team gets distracted by the cheerleaders. Then they talk about sex and 'oh look at Kenzie in her short skirt. Wish she would bend over more.' " Atlas told her, and gave her a smile. "Homework O. We can talk about this later. But I know that with your busy lifestyle you need to get your homework done." He smirked a bit ready for her to smack him. It was normal. He teased her about school and she would smack him. Then he finished up his assignment. "You know if you were to focus you could have the math done and we could continue talking." He looked at her, playfully glaring at her.

@gracehustle

"Well, point me in the direction of your teammates, I'm going to go knock some sense into them," She threatened, only half joking before a small smile formed on her face, "My homework can wait, my grades are perfectly fine." Oriana reached over and smacked his shoulder like usual, sticking her tongue out at him as she joked, "You know if you were to focus, you could spend less time on homework and more time making friends, and we could continue talking."

He rolled his eyes, "I dont need friends, they always disappoint me. But I guess I consider you as a friend. And not yet have you disappointed me." Atlas guess he did consider Oriana a friend. Friend being a strange word to him. He hadnt been social his whole high school years. "So you coming to the game or not. I can reserve you the best seat in the house." He smiled. The one feature he liked about himself, was his smile. Oriana had a lot of beautiful features he thought. "I also heard we are getting a new kid soon. Heard his dad was Earth. Thats going to be interesting." Atlas told Oriana the new details he heard from his mom.

@gracehustle

She shot back a charming smile, "I'm glad I'm considered a friend, and yes, I'll be at the game." Oriana leaned back in her chair once more, setting her homework aside and studying his gorgeous smile. It really was a pretty smile and it fit him. "A new kid? What grade are they in?" She listened with intense interest, nodding along and asking questions when needed.

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"Our grade. Its odd though. We havent had a new kid in our grade since 2nd grade." He said, "Although I wonder he was here before and then left and decided to come back." Atlas looked at Oriana, her hair was always nice and soft looking. But yet again she was easy on the eyes. Gorgeous. "And back to the game, I promise you'll get the best seat. Players get to reserve spots so, I'll let you know where you sit before the game starts." Oriana deserved the best spot that he knew of. She was pretty close to him, and kinda wished they were more than friends but he was fine being friends.

@gracehustle

"Well, if I recognse him I'll let you know," She replied, smiling as she tried to remember just who had all left their grade since 2nd grade. Oriana tapped her pencil against her leg, brushing a strand of hair away from her face again, "I'll be there as long as there's a spot for me, best seat in the house or no." She studied Atlas calmly as she talked, her face flushing very gently as she got caught up in how eye catching he was.

Atlas smiled at her, "Alright." He looked back at his notebook and put it away, "what do you wanna talk about now?" He asked her, most of the class talking among themselves. Mr. Fona didn't care, actually he was sleeping at his desk. "I dont have a lot of interesting things."

@gracehustle

Oriana thought for a minute before another bright smile split across her face, "Hmm…Ooh! Did you find a date for the school dance yet? You have to go this year, it's our senior year, so don't even give me the excuse that you're not going." She leaned forward, resting her head on her hands and smiling at him. Her pencil was tucked behind her ear, almost hidden in the mass of curls.

@gracehustle

"Yes I want you to go," She replied, rolling her eyes and winking at him, "If you don't find anyone, I'll find someone for you." Oriana had already been asked several times to go with different people in their class, but she had turned them all down. Maybe it was stupid, but she wanted to ask Atlas to go. Screw guys asking girls, she would ask him, that was, if he didn't have anyone to go with and if he actually returned the crush she had on him.

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"Oh no no no. I'd rather go with you, than one of your friends. Plus I'd enjoy going with you more than with someone I barely know." He told her, "Don't go playing match maker for me." To be honest he really wanted to go with her but was too nervous to ask her. and plus who knew how his mom would react. He smiled at her, "Although I doubt you'd want to go with a silent guy like me." Atlas looked at her, trying to imagine them two going to the school dance. "But I'd go with you if you wanted." He told her, a slight pink showing up on his cheeks.

@gracehustle

She laughed playfully and winked at him, "Maybe I was going to suggest right off the bat that you were going to be my date. Can't let the star soccer player find an actual good date." Oriana shrugged, bumping him with her elbow, "That is, if you accept my offer of being your date?" Asking him to be her date, no matter how out of the way she asked, gave her butterflies, but she acted as if they didn't exist, waiting with a charming smile for his answer.

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"Oh? and youre not a good date huh?" He laughed, "Yeah I guess I'll go. Only because your dragging me along." and I do want to go with you as more than friends, Atlas smiled at her, Don't doubt for a second that I don't like you O. he thought as he looked at her. "I'm not the star soccer player. Only have the highest amount of goals the school has seen in a while." Atlas bragged a bit, "But I'm sure I can find some time for you in my busy 'star' life."

@gracehustle

"No I'm not a good date, I'll make you dance with me and I assure you I'll talk your ear off," She replied, laughing and smiling back at him, "Having the highest amount of goals doesn't make you the star soccer player? How does that work?" Oriana was estatic that he wanted to go with her, no matter how reluctant it seemed, "Well now we have to decide, are you going to match me? Or go with different colors?"

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

He decided to mess with her, "Mmm I was thinking you blue and me yellow. Just kidding, up to you. Like I've said before I don't do dances and I don't know how they work." I'd rather you talk my ear off than someone annoying. He thought. Atlas looked at her, "Yeah yeah I guess I am the star player. I'm just hoping that I dont get hurt during the game."

@gracehustle

Lightly, she smacked him again at his color suggestions, smiling either way, "Well, my dress isn't blue, I'll tell you that. It's more of a light lavender..you could wear a tie that color, or I'll find a complementing color." Oriana studied his face for a second, quickly looking away as she thought, "Please don't get hurt, then I'll have no one to cheer for at the game. Now, back to the dance.."

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"I'm not one to pick fights so it'll be pretty easy for me to lay low." Atlas told her, "Hmmm, lavender. Suits you." He liked listening to her voice, it was soothing to him. "I'll match you. If I'm going to be your date I'll be nice and match you." Atlas smiled and fixed his hair. "How fancy is this thing? Like do I need to have my dad take me tux shopping or what?" He asked her, curious now. He was getting kinda excited now.

@gracehustle

"You should be good with just dress pants and a nice shirt, but a tux would work just as well," She replied with a shrug, her smile returning, "Lavender would look good on you too, I think you'll look nice with a lavender tie or shirt." Oriana tapped her leg against the floor, happily going over everything about them going to the dance together.

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"Now that I think about it I think I have a lavender shirt from my sisters wedding. She wanted me to wear lavender. The whole immediate family." He informed Oriana. "Hopefully it still fits. Although I havent changed much since Freshman year. Just grew taller." Atlas fiddled with a pencil. "I'm kinda excited now."

@gracehustle

Oriana nodded easily, smile growning easily, "That and a black tie would look really good." She wasn't going to force Atlas to wear anything he didn't want to, but if he was able to match her dress they would look nice together. Especially going together after talking about it for less than five minutes.

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

Atlas hummed in agreement, "Also you know your not forcing me to go right? I genuinely want to go with you. To be honest I actually planned on asking you after the playoff game." A soft smile grew on his face, "And yes in front of everyone. even though I'm introverted I'd do it for you."

@gracehustle

Her face flushed at the idea of him asking her in front of everyone at the game, but she replied with a smile, "I would've said yes. I've been planning on asking you for about three days now, but I couldn't decide the best way to do so without embarrassing you."

@Red-Is-Going-To-Be-Off-For-Awhile group

"I don't mind a couple minutes of embarrassment." he told her, "Glad to know you would've said yes." Atlas faintly blushed, but there was no hope in hiding it. He smiled, glad that they were talking, "I'm still going to ask you publicly though. I can't have you being asked continuously."
