Name: Lysander "Lys" Mar
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual panromantic
Appearance: Lys has light blue skin with darker blue freckles. His eyes are a startling red, clearly caring but a colour that scares people off. His hair is curly and slightly longer than average, being a natural bubblegum pink colour. He has a pair of dark blue horns that sprout from his head (the style of the blue ones in the second row but the size of the red ones in the third row). He has large, angel-like wings. They span from just above his head to brushing the floor (when resting). They are extremely strong. He stands at around 6'2".
Style: Lys wears whatever's comfortable. He can't really hide anything with his clothes. They're typically just jeans, hoodies with holes for his wings and converses.
Personality: Despite his appearance, Lys is actually quite loving and caring. He's been pushed out his whole life so he makes it his goal to make others feel good. He appreciates the little things and doesn't want people to feel bad.
Likes: Nature, nice people
Dislikes: His parents, most people
Background: Lys was born a monster, a freak of nature. He was blood related to both of his parents, but some warping of genes changed his appearance drastically. No one knows why, even 22 years later (they could tell in the last few months of pregnancy). At first, his parents decided to treat him like a normal kid. He was well loved and raised well.
Then the comments got to them. They began to hate him, treating him like shit. He was essentially disowned by his own family, cast out while still living off them. So he ran away. He grew a hatred for his parents, the only people who'd ever treated him like something now not.
He found a shack in the middle of nowhere with a very large stash of money, enough to last a lifetime. He didn't know where it came from, but whoever owned it was either long gone or long dead. Whenever he flies to the store to get supplies, he tries to take as little time as possible. He hates people staring at him.
Other: He's human, but there's wack things going on in his genes that make his appearance the way it is. He's just accepted that he's a monster.

Name: Casey "Case" Jackson
Age: 21
Gender: AMAB, identifies as androgynous/non-binary. Pronouns shift between he/him and they/them. If in doubt, they/them works just fine
Sexuality: Pan, but does lean towards more masculine people
Appearance: This (pic is not from pinterest, so you should be able to view), except they've got some freckles scattered over the bridge of his nose, and green eyes, not brown. They have a few scars on their body from various things, and a bright smile when they choose to show it. They like to tie their hair back in a ponytail or bun, sometimes a braid when they can manage it.
Style: Honestly, it varies from day to day depending on what they feel like wearing. Typically will wear just jeans and a t shirt, sometimes will change that up and wear a skirt, or crop top, etc. Makeup is a sometimes thing.
Personality: Gentle, though rather quiet. They are very imaginative, and can spend hours just daydreaming if they want to. Not one to scream or freak out when they see something weird, though they are very cautious about their safety. They've been harassed too many times before, and are often on guard for that.
Likes: Sweet things; cuddling; reading; singing
Dislikes: The cold; lots of people; people misgendering them (will be understanding if it was an accident, but if it's on purpose it really pisses them off);
Background: Casey was raised in a home that, for a while, was fine. But then at 16, they came out to their family as non-binary and panromantic. After that, their family kicked them out and they lived on the streets. They, having no other choice, was coerced into becoming a prostitute, selling their body in order to have money to live off of. It has been just a year or so since he stopped, now living off of a decent job and in an apartment, though the apartment is rather small. He has had no contact with his family.

Lys stood in his shack, looking out the window. It was the same as always, just an empty field. He liked it, because it meant that he was alone. He turned around, his wings knocking an umbrella over. He didn't even care.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Casey went out for a walk. It was their day off from work, and they wanted to get outside. And not in the city, either, where half the corners and the alleyways reminded them of their past, of what they had done to survive.

Lys sighed and walked outside, his light blue skin closely matching the sky. He spread his wings and flew up to the top of the building, sitting on the roof of his shack. This was calming.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Casey kept walking, heading out of the city and into the countryside outside of it. Their hair was tucked back in a bun, a few messy strands escaping out.

Lys lied on his back, wings spread out. Normally he would be painting, or even going for a walk around the field near his shack. But for some reason, he didn't feel like that. And he didn't know why.

A butterfly landed on one of Lys' horns, and he smiled as he looked at it. Animals didn't care what he looked like. They just accepted him. Why couldn't the other humans realise that?

Deleted user

(maybe casey stumbles upon the shack and sees Lys on top? i mean, you can't miss him. he's really tall, has blue skin, has horns on his head and has giant wings)

Lys sighed again and sat up, the butterfly flying away. He looked out at the field, with its colourful wildflowers and luscious green grass. He looked to the freshwater river just beside the shack. He always marveled at how nature flourished without any other humans interfering.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(lol alright!)

They looked around for a moment, then hopped the fence and headed into the fields. They figured they couldn't do much harm, and they just wanted to walk for a while. They weren't going to hurt anything.

Lys hopped down and walked to the river, cupping his hands and taking a sip from the water. Then he hopped in, the water coming up to his waist. It was calming. Yet boring. Because it was all he ever did.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Casey kept walking, eventually following the sound of water. Streams or rivers were always lovely, even when he wasn't quite sure where to find them.

Lys sighed again and carefully pulled his shirt off, tossing it onto the grass. His converses were already on the grass, completely dry. He didn't really care if his pants got wet.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Casey continued to walk. Eventually, they could see the shine of water through the trees, and knew that they were nearing their destination.

Lys let out a yell of frustration. If he wasn't cast out by all of humanity, he wouldn't have been stuck in this god awful place. He let out another yell, kicking the water.

Deleted user

Lys continued to kick the water, hard as he can. "WHY! DO! HUMANS! HATE! ME! FOR! NO! REASON?!"

@ElderGod-Icefire

They exited the trees, sucking in a breath when they spotted Lys. An alien? They wondered for a moment, biting their lip a little. "Hello?"

Lys let out a shout of fear when he hear someone else talking to him, his wings lifting him into the air instinctively. He floated back down, fully cautious of this new person. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
