Jay enjoyed the song and was calm sitting there.
Jay enjoyed the song and was calm sitting there.
Skye closed his eyes, enjoying the moment.
Jay rested his head and sighed
Skye eventually started singing softly, following the notes with ease.
Jay listened quietly.
Skye finished the song after a fe more moments, humming the last few notes before falling silent with a sigh.
"That's really pretty." Jay mumbled.
Skye hummed softly, "My mom used to sing it when I was a kid…." he murmured, a hint of sorrow in his voice.
"Oh." Jay said and nodded.
Skye hummed quietly to himself, falling silent.
"Everything alright?" He asked quietly.
"Yeah…" he murmured, staying silent.
"That's alright."
Skye hugged himself lightly, pressed against the other's side.
"Would you like to live here? Like so you have somewhere to live… Um sorry I'm not great at talking." Jay said and sighed.
Skye looked up at him in surprise, almost pulling away in shock.
"What's wrong. Was it something I said?" He asked suddenly concerned.
"Y-You would actually?" he asked, disbelieving.
"Yeah. Definitely."
Skye blinked, speechless.
"Yes or no?"
"Yeah… I'd be an idiot not to accept…" he said softly, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Awesome. I'm glad you accepted. Because I wasn't allowing you to leave anyway. It's mid Winter." Jay said in all seriousness.
Skye shrunk back sheepishly, "Another reason to stay… any other season isn't too bad if it's not raining…. but winter…." he sighed, "Spring is always bad once you realize how many others don't make it through."
"Yeah… Weather could be harsh out there sometimes." Jay said and nodded.
